I tried to install synapse 4, it erased all my keybind profiles instead of moving them over, refused to let me import the backups I made, and kept strobing the lights on everything, not just the razen rgb but the other brands too.

and cause its not named differently i cant reinstall 3 until I completely wipe out 4.

From what I know, it is not possible to migrate. You need to create a new profile for each device. Each Synapse (3 and 4) has its cloud storage separated to avoid bugs. It would be nice to migrate, but they have a different structure, so I think it would be extremely rough if they gave us this possibility someday.

It is not possible to migrate even if you do not make use of cloud storage (local only guest account). They have said they will release a migration tool in the future (which is already too late).

I was pleased to discover that you can still use a guest/offline account with Synapse 4. They don’t make it very easy though. When you first launch Synapse 4 and select the guest option it shows a notice about the “benefits” of using an online account. There seems to be no way to advance beyond this screen. After quiting and restarting the Synapse a couple of times it accepted that I was using a guest account and allowed the setup to continue.

Mine too.

It’s awesome, and it’s the best sounding Razer keyboard yet.

I also like the OLED screen.

But when I turn on the system status, it’s quite buggy, because it doesn’t show the GPU temperature for me (AMD Radeon RX 6700XT). GPU usage % works well.

good luck to those that won the v4 pro 75%, just good luck, you will spend all day trying to fight against synapse. settings not sticking, light dimming still dims even after setting it off. keybaord does not turn off when you turn the pc off. if you dont have synapse running the shortcut shift plus any of the number row just inputs numbers instead of the symbols it inputs when synapse is running, all the lighting stops resets to default if you exit synapse. the command dial bugs out if you dont use it for too long and when you go to scroll it switches to other mode and changes track for example instead of lowering volume, even tough the menu selected was the volume. if you have system stats on the main screen and you go away and the keyboard goes to sleep, a few hours later you come back and when the keyboard turns on it will display each and every update since the keyboard shut down, and only after all that, it will reconnect with chroma and sync everything, a good test is, keep your pc on overnight, with the screen set to display time, when you come back the next morning and wake the keyboard, look at the time go up 1 minute each second until it reached the current time, its funny actually. this keyboard has so many firmware problems it starts to be funny, so much for the best and most expensive razer keyboard.
edit: hardware wise the keyboard is fine. synapse is just bugging everywhere
