Nice to see a Blade 15 with even more power than before! Really like that they fixed the keyboard this time.
Ah, new year, new version of the Blade 15.

Cool design!
So disappointed... Why do you still go for Intel CPU's? They are much more power consuming, running much hotter and have less performance then Ryzen 4900H.

If you would have put the Ryzen in the new Blade it would be a no-brainer for me. But now i have to go for some other producer...

The Intel i10XXX are not different to the i9XXX except for more tubro-clockspeed which will never be running because with 135W Power Consumption this runs to hot instantly. The new Intel Generation will generate no better CPU Performance then the earlier Generation...

Ryzen would have been an enormous improvement (lower temperatures, better performance, less cooling necessary, more cooling available for GPU...) but with intel the device just stays the same.

Another upgrade version, more power = more fun!

Every Blade is demanding for me in terms of price, so i think i'll sell a kidney to buy one.

300hz in a laptop when my PC barely runs AAA games at 144hz. Cant imagine a use for that. Maybe improving the response time on the screen would be a better target to hit.

Cant wait for the benchmarks to see if the Super upgrades are worth it. If not 3000 series it is then.
Like many laptops at this point, it appears to be a good spec bump. I'm disappointed that the base model is not using the vapor chamber but heat pipes. Seems like it have cooling issues
now my 240hz version feels old L0L
Beautiful thing. Price is once again Razer Moderately expensive. Even if the unibody and the workmanship are as usual super.

The New Razer Blade 15 is a Beast! Love It!

I see one thing that is confusing me, how the base model have "Ethernet port" and the advanced model didn't get "Ethernet port" in my oppinion this is crucial to have for best internet connection!

maybe its time to sell my old one and upgrade
Exactly this. What is going on? Intel's at least 2 years away from competing with these CPU's and their next generation. Biggest issue is thermal and AMD has this under control with 7nm. Why are there no flagship laptops like Razer with this CPU?

There is no point having an Intel CPU with theoretical single core advantage when in practice it will throttle and cannot sustain the performance to match the AMD. I want my cake and to eat it too, Razer needs to step up and bring us a flagship AMD gaming powerhouse.

The fact that Razer will loose head to head with much cheaper gaming laptops running the AMD is crazy. They will beat them on everything else except CPU performance and battery, but I want the whole package, not some cheap screen with low refresh rates and plastics from another manufacturer, I want a Razer with 7nm CPU advantages.

This might actually be the Razer Blade I end up finally getting... So nice.
Wow that sounds amazing compared to the laptop im using, with 60Hz, GTX 1060, and i7 8th gen

You'd be kind to sell your second kidney so you could offer me a blade too.:stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:

I'm just impressed how they can make an even better background every. single. time.
I'm a sucker for Razer Backgrounds.

HeyChew
Wouldn't it be futuristic if we could get them all packed into one spiffy device?
I sure don't want to lug two more things in my backpack.

It's getting harder to find desktop cases that even have the option for an optical drive. Sure they're not for everyone, but I require them.

Unfortunately gaming laptops nowadays need better cooling, adding those means additional heat, thanks to intel and nvidia that still keep big 14nm and 12nm Chips on more powerful chip, AMD btw is already doing 7nm both cpu and gpu. Adding those internal numpad and physical drive means also have to make bigger cooling room that means bigger unit that against blade laptops categories which’s on thin light one. That maybe depends on user cases, personally I prefer as pheriperal since I don’t always use it on the go, I use indeed external mechanical numpad for my excel work and dvd driver (kind of not same brand since I got from amazon de) for media consumption or installing things that still need physical cd/dvd.

On the Base model of the Blade 15, do you think it's possible to put a heatsinked NVME ?

Depends of the thickness, but I’d recommend buying something without it and use thermal tape that costs like under €10 six pack, it reduce max temperature like 30 to even 40 degrees compared without, in fact some blade 15 model actually come with it not quite sure with current one, though I didn’t see on notebookcheck review unit base blade 15 mercury Oled rtx 2070maxq 144Hz, what a long naming;)

If I ever need a gaming laptop that will be it.

Hello friends,

A Razer Blade 15 laptop so powerful, thin and light. I love it. ^_^
If there is a Quartz edition version, it would be too perfect to be able to play Cyberpunk 2077 on September 17, 2020.
I want it.

Have you seen the latest poll?

Video games are the first hobby during confinement and female gamers are six times more numerous than before quarantine.

Yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh Pink power. 😃
