So I am guessing everyone here is OK with their CPUs hitting 100C consistently while gaming?

Why not? Hasnt been a problem for the last 10 years, isnt a problem in macbooks, isnt a problem in blades.

Hello folks. Wanted to share some temps from my Razer blade Advance 2020. Are these considered normal?
if its just spikes it should be fine...if it stays above 90 constantly, then something has to be done. (Clean, use a laptop riser to allow more air underneath for better cooling, put CPU performance slider in Synapse in mid or low if you have the option).

nice

Undoubtedly, Razer Balde 15 is an excellent machine if you have a budget of around $1500.

Planing to buy this first of June. Will the chroma dock still provide enough power for this(not sure how thunderbolt works)?

Of course no, if it’s only seconds spike temperature it’s fine but long period not. Intel cpu thermal limit is between 100 to 105 degrees and it’s designed so but I’d avoid running on 90ish for long periods, so when gaming use on screen display (OSD) like MSI afterburner etc to monitor the temperatures. If it sits on 90ish long, use synapse balance mode or anything that not taxes higher cpu tdp to get better cpu temperature. CPU die is smaller than gpu and vapor chamber share the temperature between those two, using it long term on high temperature might wear the parts inside faster, like the battery so I always avoid 90ish average gaming temperature sometimes I even limit the boost frequency (on my model it’s still capable unfortunately not on yours), mid 80ish average on cpu and low 80ish max on gpu are preferred on this thin light categories imo. Your minimum temperature and idle are great though, better than my 8750H high 40ish to mid 50ish idle.

Yes. I think so. I'm curious to see how this thing will handle 8 tracks of 4k video recording in Davinci Resolve. I've seen a guy somewhere doing it flawlessly on the i7 version from last year with 5 tracks.

It is pretty crazy that you can do this on a laptop at all, let alone somewhat fast.
