hi, i have a problem with my 2017 razer blade pro 4k. it doesnt turn off, but if it turns off, then suddenly it turns on. i have replaced a new battery but nothing changed :(((
I currently own a 2018 (or 2019, I forget) Razer Blade 15" Its a solid laptop, very happy with it, but I'll be traveling this summer and I wonder if the 14" model is worth the rather high price. I've been devouring Yts, reviews and information and everything I've read appears to be overwhelmingly positive. Usage: Playing games, nothing crazy, some old games, some current games - I'm a huge Fallout 76 fan, and some new games. I've been wanting try out Elden Ring. I'll also be using it for work stuff, nothing heavy, VPN, remote access to servers, office, database and web stuff. I have a handful of questions. 1. Has anyone moved from a 15" to a 14"? Do you feel its a step back, or is the 14" fine? 2. Battery life, while I'll not be game playing on a flight, I still don't expect a lot of hours from my 15" nor will it fit as well as the 14" How are people's real world experience. 3. Portability, anyone notice a distinct difference how much easier it is? 4. Quality. when ever I res
Hey folks, any game devs on here using a new Razer Blade 15 for Unreal Engine 5? I'm currently still using my 16GB RAM, Blade 14 with 1060, which was great for UE4, but is now clearly struggling and sounding like a rocket ship trying to take off for most of the day. I need the laptop mostly for work (UE5), but will occasionally be gaming on it too. I plug in a 4K monitor when at home. Portability is important to me, hence looking at the 15 rather than 17". So I'm looking for a new workhorse with at least 32 gig of RAM, but am torn between the various screen resolutions available. Also, unsure of whether I need the i9 or whether the i7 is OK. I'm guessing the 3080ti is going to be best, but how does it hold up in terms of noise? Any game devs out there using UE5 on a new Blade? Any opinions? Will the i7 3070ti hold up, or should I just max out the specs? Cheers!
I must say Razer is heading in the right path lately. I love how the new Blade 17 now has 8 speakers and a 165 watt tgp 3080 TI. Since Razer announced that they going release a 2K 240 HZ OLED 15 inch Blade by the end of this year I really urge them to offer this display also on the 17 inch. What I want to see on the next 17 inch Razer Blade is to give us a 100 watt hour battery by removing the useless third fan and a 2K OLED option since the Blade 17 with the 165 watt tgp can take real advantage of the 2K display and be more future proof. I love 16:9 aspect ratio on a gaming laptop but I wish Razer can get rid of the chin like the Aero 17 has. Basically 100 watt hour battery, keep 16:9 aspect ratio but get rid of the chin, offer a 2K OLED screen on the 17 inch. Once Razer does all that I just listed they will truly be the best pc laptops out there.
Hey guys have you noticed when you go to Razer's websites and click on the drivers section they have still not uploaded the drivers for the mid 2021 Blade Advanced with the 3080 and OLED display? The only thing they have available for you is a master guide PDF file. Why on earth have they not uploaded drivers for our laptops yet? I want to perform a clean install of Windows 11 but I am worried that I will not have driver support. Maybe someone on this forum can help me? Does Windows manage to find every driver for our laptops when we perform a clean install?
Hi, I want to disable NVIDIA optimus in my laptop. I searched for info and it says that there's an option in synapse however, there's no such option. Any help would be highly appreciated in disabling optimus. Thank you.

I just ordered a Blade 15 and will be using it at work and at home. In the past, I’ve had a surface laptop combined with a surface dock and enjoyed the ability to just plug in a single cable to power/charge and connect my peripherals, such as a monitor and speakers. I’d like to have the same ability with my Blade 15, but will the Thunderbolt 4 Chroma Dock provide enough power to the Blade 15 (I read online it only supplies 90 watts via USB C) for basic office work on a single external monitor? Most of my job is done through a browser but I occasionally need to do some light photoshop. Or do you think I’m better off buying another power supply to leave at my office instead and use a usb-c dongle for peripherals? Any and all help/advice is appreciated!
Will the new (2022) Blade 17 support two 1TB WD Black SN850's in a raid 0 configuration? Also, it is my understanding that the WD runs hot. Is anyone aware of whether or not this is a problem in this laptop and, if so, would a pair of Samsung 980 Pros or Sabrent Rocket 4s be better?
Hi guys, like quite a few other people I had to remove the battery from my 2019 razer blade adv due to swelling. I'm now running without a battery but with heavy game usage the notebook has started to switch off unexpectedly. It looks like it has become more frequent in the latest weeks, and I have narrowed down the cause to a few things: 1) not enough power coming from the brick during high CPU/GPU usage, which causes a sudden switch off due to the battery missing as a backup in case of a peak. 2) a thermal issue: possibly either the CPU or GPU overheating. 3) a windows update 4) a combination of all of the three above. It could very well be a system update which caused a slight increase in CPU usage and therefore (1), or the system overheating certain components as now all of the power needs to come from the power connector rather than being split evenly between battery and brick. Has anyone experienced anything similar? Did anyone had a good experience in replacing the battery? Do

Hey people! I have a 2019 blade 15 with already upgraded HD space running 2TB Samsung Evo 980 but I am still on stock 2667mhz 16GB ram i would like to upgrade the ram due to using it for gaming as well as capturing Gameplay on my Xbox Series X I run the Series X with a Samsung g70a 4k 144hz I also use a Alienware 25 1080p 240Hz for my laptop as a secondary display or when i am gaming on it. which the machine handles quiet well I may add. BUT, when I don't use synapse due to running other things in the background I have a terrible experience due to that 16gb of ram being tapped out. I wanted to throw 64gb of ballistics in it but from what I've been reading and seeing 32gb is more then enough. That being said with running a capture for the gameplay on my Xbox searching the web and other tasks I would just like some suggestions. Thanks in Advance for whomever answers! :smile_:
Hello everybody! So I recently bought a Razer Blade 15 Advanced 2018 "with a i7-8750H and GTX1070" I bought it from a guy for a very low price. The guy told me there was a problem with the laptop and it doesn't charge at all and yes it doesn't he had changed the battery with a brand new one, but the problem still persist. The laptop works perfectly on a charger but while gaming temps go high to 95-97C friends tell me that it's normal for an I7 and a 1070 but I would like to hear more opinions from people that actually own a system like this. And do you have any other suggestions on the charging problem. I have tried uninstalling the battery driver and everything but it keeps saying No battery is detected, plugged in, fully charged 100% and when I remove the charger the laptop shuts down. I would appreciate any help and suggestions. Regards!
I mainly play games like CSGO Osu! Minecraft and all of them are have absurd lag spikes and high latency what’s going on?
Hello everyone, I don't know if I'm able to post this here, but I'm planning to buy the Razer Blade 14 2022 (with the RTX 3060), but it's still unavailable (I couldn't pre-order it due to money xD) Does anyone know when this specific laptop is available again? If needed: I'm from Europe (The Netherlands). I hope to get an answer about this :) Kind regards, HueZuX
When I connect razer blade (base 15, rtx3070) to TV via HDMI and close the lid - it would not auto shut off laptop screen. So I kind of have to always game with laptop screen on (when lid is closed) and mirror display setting to TV. Is this a windows 10 home edition issue or some laptop sensor missing? is this a known issue?
Yes. You read that right. Just 2 short months ago I discovered my Razer battery was swelling (slight bulging of the chassis - 15" 2019 Razer Blade Advanced Merc. White), and, having been alerted to this issue from prior Blade owners I quickly removed the battery just as that happened and no lasting damage to the chassis or internal parts. In fact it was only just a little bit of pressure, the back cover immediately sprung open when I removed it. Ok, battery removed, laptop still functional, no harm no foul. I contacted Razer Support through Facebook Messenger (crazy how many different ways you can contact Razer support), and found out my laptop was technically still supported by its warranty (even though the official Razer support website said it wasn't). I still did not want to ship a fully functional laptop when all I needed was a battery, and I was willing to purchase it even. Razer (at the time) refused, saying company policy did not let them do this, the laptop would have to be
hi, i was interested in buying a razer blade 17, but i wanted to know if the german keyboard version has the secondary symbols lit up in the 2022 version (if i'm not mistaken they are not lit up in previous versions). Thanks in advance.
Good day and thank you in advance for the advice. I just got a refurbished/new Blade 17 Pro and would like some advise on upgrading the RAM and HDD/SSD. Also this is my first gaming type laptop as well as my first non Mac computer as well so please go easy on me here. lol I usually game on PS4/PS5 when at home but a friend of mine told me about PC gaming so here I am giving this a shot. The system currently has 16G RAM and a 500G drive. I was thinking of going to 32G of RAM and 1TB drive but not sure if it would be better/more cost effective to go to a 64G RAM as well. What would be the recommended brand/type of RAM chips to install and recommended brand/type of HDD/SSD to install? I do a lot of traveling for work and mainly game on the road. I have also noticed this PC get REALLY REALLY hot. I am guessing this is normal when running games such as Elden Ring and Destiny 2 ? Any advice welcome and opinions. Thank you again
Hi, I'm unable to use thunderbolt networking on my Blade, I have installed thunderbolt drivers, I have allowed networking but still cannot see any network connections. Please advise... I've also tried using the thunderbolt control center - neither of these offer any help. I am used to macbooks so this seems overly complex... I am trying to have a thunderbolt 3 network from a macbook to the blade. I might resort to buying ethernet adaptors but that feels sad tks Carrie
Hi all I am using my Core X with a NUC 8th gen i5 a few times a week to play games. Otherwise I dont need the Core X to be running as I leave the NUC on all the time. I have been switching the Core X off with the power switch when I dont need to use. Sometimes when I switch it back on, it seems like there is a little bit of a surge in power. I am wondering if it is better to unplug the TB connector like one would do if this were a laptop or if using the power switch on the Core X to turn off and on as I am doing is OK?
Hi, I've looked through the other threads here, and had my own lengthy discussions with support. Please do not tell me to download the recovery USB. Restoring to factory settings is *not the same as a fresh install of Windows*. Every other laptop in the universe, I can install windows, then I can go to the support page for my laptop, and I can download and install all the necessary software for my laptop to work. I can even do this with other razer blade laptops, just not the 2021 blade 14 model. This "download page" has had one single download for months. Why are there no posted downloads for the blade 14 2021? Why does it work differently than every other laptop ever? How do I know ahead of time if I buy a razer laptop in the future, whether it will have this kind of lack of industry standard support?
Note 1: I am fine with the 40-50fps, the issue is if I want to upgrade to a Valve Index or something like it I don't think I could get even 20fps as is. I've been using my Razer blade 14 3070 for about 5 months now and VR performance has been quite poor. I'm using a Quest 1 with Link and I was wondering the following: Is there a way for me to bypass NVIDIA Optimus so I can get more than 40-50fps? Is one of the USB-Cs directly connected to the GPU or are both of them connected to the integrated graphics? Does anyone else have experience of the Razer Blade 14 working well with other VR headsets or Oculus Link (while being tethered)? I am NOT asking about the performance of any other laptop with the same GPU or with Optimus, a Blade 15, or a wireless setup. Could the fact that I'm using the cable that came with the headset actually be an issue? I've seen claims that it both matters and doesn't matter if I use the cable. Lastly, Is there a way for me to set up an External GPU then just
Does Razer intend to produce a docking station compatible with the Razer Blade 14", if so, when? Are there 3rd party docking stations available for this model?
