Please see my post on reddit here. Disappointed to say the least when I received mine yesterday, and still no word back from Razer.

Well mine been stuck in customs for about five days now. Fedex says they're waiting on Razer for a Commercial Invoice. So it's sounds like negligence to me. Lol. I'll contact again today since it's due in today at the latest. Been a long time since I've used an Apple trackpad. But I do remember them being the most responsive and accurate compared to any windows trackpad. Unless I'm just watching youtube or something I always use a mouse. So I normally don't notice. Lol. It's funny because the 12.5" Blade stealth had a 2560x1440. But I guess very few manufacturers make that screen resolution for laptops. Probably another reason macbooks are so expensive. Lol
MacBook is great with their trackpad, sound and design...that’s all, hardware wise. I want to look on my hand that 1080p seemly great one, for media consumption maybe fine on that size, but not gaming personally, can’t going back to 1080p, though bigger 1080p will bottleneck mx150 lol. Had mx150 with 1080p ultrbook, it was fine resolution for some games but it was too hot on the cassis doing long session, seemly new stealth has a great cooling system and for Rocket League and cs go on the go it’s sweet portable device.

I'm in the same boat. I purchased mine right after it was available and it has also been stuck in customs. I have contacted Razer support a few times and all they say is "our logistics team is working on it." I sure hope so because I want it so bad!
Well for what it's worth I feel better it's not just mine. Hopefully they get on it soon. I know its the holidays, but you still need to be clear with customers when their packages will be missing the scheduled delivery date. When I get off work I'm gonna try talking to customer service and see if they can call them. I want mine pretty badly too. :big_grin_:

It will come one day. Too bad shipping isn't as fast as Razer's computers lol. I'd also argue that Apple's trackpad is top tier, but Razer's trackpads are getting much better. It definitely is a tradeoff to have a dedicated GPU over a 2560x1440 res screen.

Considering this basically what I was trying to decide I wish this was released a bit quicker. Or maybe I shouldn't have such a trigger finger and buy the New Stealth as soon as I saw it. lol.
Everything I've read in the last few days really points to the Stealth being better in almost every way. The one main point that Apple wins is the screen. It would have been nice if Razer had a 2560x1440 screen. I think that would've been a great middle ground and would've helped justify the expensive pricing on the MX150 model.
I'm about ready to drive out to Tennessee and get my laptop from customs myself. Hurry up Razer!

I actually just watched this video. I guess it really depends on what the user wants. On paper, the Blade Stealth has better specs and is a few hundred dollars cheaper. But I guess some consumers who are big fans of the Apple ecosystem may choose the latter over the stealth. Both great laptops, but I personally like the stealth lol

Any chance for official Linux support ?
I'm pretty sure the 2019 blade stealth will support linux. One of my professors actually bought a blade stealth and ran linux on his 2016 model. Maybe ask any of the linux users in the linux forum if they've done a linux conversion on the 2019 stealth. I personally have just stuck with windows and use a ubuntu terminal to do gcc or whatever I need.

Lol. I'm reading through their review on the i5 2018 version that sight as we speak. And my suspensions that it runs hot were right. So it seems to run worse than a windows 8550u laptop in benchmarks. So Razer Stealth 2019 having two fans has me hopeful I made the right call as it should run faster and cooler.
Don’t gaming on MacBook even with egpu setting, it throttle a lot, there’s not much cooling inside it, for photo editing etc is fine. I’m using it for printing papers:cool_:lol. Btw their 8850H MacBook Pro 15 physical score is worse than my lower clock 8750H on Blade 15, when I’m not wrong it performed similar with their i9, idk if they addressed it already though. But yeah it’s more popular than Blade;)
Next week I’ve appointment in Apple store for my IPhone battery upgrade can’t wait to use the Blade there to sync my phone😝

It use this 8259U, take a look at physical performance on firestrike only 8000ish and compare to this. And iris gpu vs mx150 4gb vram, come on;)

*Gaaaaaaasp* Macbook what? How dare you make that comparison?!
Funny story I was looking at MacBook pro 13 not long ago. I was leaning against it do to Nvidia cards not being natively supported on macOS through eGpu. Then the RX590 came out and the RX3000 cards were "leaked" so it was almost like fate was telling me, "Do it. . .nooooow." Then Razer releases this new blade stealth. Seeing as I can upgrade the m.2 myself and don't need an AMD gpu it was a no brainer for me to pull the trigger.
But now you got me thinking since the MacBook pro 13 does have higher clocked cpus and the iris pro graphics. But I'm sure they thermal throttle since they don't seem to care about good thermals lately.

Early benchmarks Firestrike. Not bad temperature at all and look at whiskey lake physical score, it beats my old Blade 14 7700HQ physical score, damn...me, keep strong;)
It’s an ultrabook, you can compare it with 2018 €2K MacBook Pro 13 with intel iris, it can’t run Crysis😝

I really hope AMD will offer something great this time, but I'll doubt it until they prove me wrong ...
And even if they do offer great cards, they can't afford to sell them as high $ as Nvidia if they hope to grab a good chunk on the market share.
Might be wishful thinking, but my wallet wants the best scenario to happen ;)
I know they could do something awesome. They are doing very well with their CPU's lately and are basically making fools of intel. I hope this translates over to the mobile market in the future.
Normally I'd agree but Vega proved that wrong. Granted they had the blessing of mining on their side and were able sell them like hotcakes. But, the price to performance was very little compared to the 1000 series offered by Nvidia.
That being said though Nvidia RTZ has been a mess. I have a 1080Ti so the only card worth my attention was the 2080Ti. And I'm not willing to shell out $1200 + for a card that should cost $700-$800. So if AMD puts the squeeze on them on the low end it would hopefully make them drop the price on the high end. If you can spend $300 on a card that matches or beats a 2070 for half the cost it's a no brainer choice. Plus there is one game with Ray Tracing right now. So until that is mainstream in games I'm all about performance before fancy features.
My wallet wants the holidays to be over. lol

If AMD RX 3000 series are as powerful and cheap as they are rumored to be then this could shake things up. But, I'm sceptical since Vega was supposed to be something awesome. Then they came out and were basically the same cards as the 1080 and 1070 that required more power and ran hotter. Plus they were impossible to get because mining. If these cards come out and they follow nvidias inflatted price logic then we're all in trouble. So fingers crossed.

AMD are aggressive for the lower end of the mid-range cards, but I want them to be able to compete with the high ends Nvidia cards. With competition comes price drops and I would love to be able to grab a 2080ti for 1000$ CAD (about 750 USD) *wishful thinking*

About AMD, they’re working underground by selling the card really cheap, at least here, you can get rx570 for almost as low as €100 with 2 games! Fortunately those cards doesn’t take my interest but Vega 56 that’s now drop to 350 with 3 triple A games!, if go down to €300, maybe i can’t close my eyes on that;) There’s already rumors AMD Navi with decent price, hope with that nvidia can revise their price tag. Though if the demands high reseller or market price may higher like Turing launch.

There’s new pictures of the cooling solution (2:44), I think on dGPU model, pretty promising for an ultrabook.

I have to disagree
Nvidia did have a lot of bad press for the launch and even more for "issues" with some cards.
However, while they did not have the greatest launch of all time, they did what they had to do to promote real time ray tracing. With AMD having nothing to offer the the moment, the timing was perfect to go ahead with a new technology while taking a minimal risk.
While the 20XX series is one for early adopters and doesn't come cheap, what they achieved is actually pretty incredible. Who would have thought that, in 2018, we would be able to get 60+ FPS in 1080p with real time ray tracing? And it's only the beginning, since optimization hasn't even started yet. Things will only get better with the next gen/refresh. But only time will tell if it gets adopted by the end user ...
As far as issues go, numbers speak by themselves and the issues are only affecting less than 2% of the 2080 ti model. Anything related to computers and electronics with a sub-2% failure rate is actually a success in this day and age. It had a lot of bad press, but if you look at the facts, it's not as bad as it looks.
So yeah, I'm still hyped for Turing Mobile :)
I would also agree with you but I just having trouble with my rtx, dead and it’s not 2080ti, evga 2070 Black, fortunately Evga has great CS gave me BFV even I bought before the promotion period, exchange all expense I paid with the loose and send me new card. Btw yes Ray Tracing is getting better with time I saw latest optimization made almost 50% performance improvement.

Hi, have you the link? :)
I think offering hardware against house rule, honestly i still like my stealth, from form factor and build quality, pretty similar with Apple laptops, sturdy well made, still better value than MacBook Air 2018 in ports, cpu performance, egpu setting etc imo. Kind want to keep it since it’s the last Edge round form factor Blade that I have.
Joikansai
This is miracle!! I’m listing now my 2016 stealth on eBay;)
