Your 'Synapse' pile of software automatically updated to a new version THAT DOESN'T SUPPORT MY KRAKEN V3 PRO, a $250 headset, so now it doesn’t detect any device at all...Â đŸ€ŠđŸ»

This is the first time in 40 YEARS I see such kind of incompetence on display...

What kind of business and support are you running  there?

You’re fake news. That screenshot proves only that you are complaining about Synapse 3 in Synapse 4 section and nothing else.

That was done by RAZER software ITSELF.

Last week I was suggested to install a Synapse beta. I did, and found out it didn’t support my device, so I *uninstalled it* and reinstalled the previous version I had.
Then I just found that Synapse (or the drivers, or whatever) automatically updated itself and my Kraken V3 Pro headset was not detected anymore.
So I had to manually reinstall the OLD version AGAIN.

Whatever RAZER SOFTWARE did with those installations I can’t know, but facts are:

  1. RAZER software automatically updated to a version that didn’t support the only RAZER device I have in my system.
  2. That forced me to manually install an older version of RAZER software for it to properly recognize my device.

Anything to say about THAT that isn’t kicking the spotlight off the corpo brand and against the CUSTOMER?

What can I say.  I’ve waited for Synapse 4 for so much time,  my Huntsman V3 Pro was only added a month ago and I grow tired of having to deal with broken software (aka - this software is as slow as it can be), so I’ve switched to SignalRGB for all the LED control and just using the keyboard as-is.

SignalRGB is centuries ahead of what Razer did for RGB.

And, guess what, my Huntsman V3 (the most expensive keyboard I’ve ever purchased) still decides to press CTRL by itself from time to time.

I’m so close to ditching Razer for good as a brand and switching to Wooting.

Same topics and complains was when synapse 3 was in beta. New synapse/4 or what ever razer is calling it is still in beta and don’t expect it soon going out from it. Even if new version will be as regular version on first weeks or months still will be bugs and maybe missing things. Remember this you have many device a lot more conf and windows still change around corner is next version. Everything take time. If you don’t want issues use synapse 3 when new version will be realesed switch then.

Synapse 3 is one of the most resource hogs applications you could ever install on a PC.  It stands to reason that people complains that they still need to use Synapse 3 for their devices.  On top of that,  OP complain is valid.  They updated their software thinking it will work,   without checking if the device was added to Synapse 4.

That was done by RAZER software ITSELF.

Synapse didn’t update itself to Synapse 4. Your own screenshot proves it.

Oh, so you first acuse me of spreading “fake news” but are now taking MY OWN only screenshot as “proof” of something??  đŸ€ŁÂ đŸ€ŠđŸ»

For all you know then, I could have made that in Photoshop. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Or just uploaded the wrong screenshot. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And nothing would be as incredible as your ridiculous accusation of what
me inventing a ‘fake’ issue out of nothing? in your privileged mind, what my intentions or abject objectives would be with that? for your beloved RAZER company to fix the software of their products so THEIR CUSTOMERS are happier?

I bet in your mind this utterly nonsensical accusation sounded spectacular

I ALREADY explained to you what the problem was. Twice. Both here and in the other thread.

And more context and details:
Last week I was suggested to and installed Synapse 4 Beta. After realizing it didn’t support my device I uninstalled it and reinstalled the ‘3.9.whatever’ version I had.

Then a few days ago, just after restarting Windows I got a message from ‘Synapse’ or ‘Razer Central’ or RAZER WHATEVER that said “You need to reboot your system for the updated software to work”.

After I did and Windows booted again I found myself with an ‘updated’ version of RAZER SOFTWARE that didn’t work at all for my product. đŸ€Ź

So I had to reinstall the OLD version again and only then my KRAKEN V3 Pro showed up again.

The tone of my posts was agressive, YES, because I AM THE FVKING CUSTOMER HERE and I shouldn’t have to deal with this SHITTY SUPPORT on a supposedly ‘top of the line’ $250 headset. đŸ€ŠđŸ»

The thing is
despite the aggresive tone of my posts I am pointing RAZER to A PROBLEM with THEIR SOFTWARE that they should at least ANSWER, INVESTIGATE and TRY to fix.

Which is your amazing contribution so far? go full ‘brand fanboy mode=on’ and attack the customer that suffered the problemsâ€ŠÂ đŸ€ŠđŸ»

You took my messages TO RAZER personally, as if you were a representative of the company (are you?) disregarding everything except the confusion with the Synapse version.

You could have asked for more info or ask a moderator to move the thread/post to a different section if you thought it wasn’t the proper one. But you did not do any of that.

You made a claim and thus the burden of proof is on you. So far you proved nothing.

I locked this thread because of bad behavior and after an interaction with one of our agents I have decided to take measures to ban a user. Please remember, this is a beta. Things are a work in progress. I understand the frustrations but taking it out on other people who are trying to help is not constructive and devalues the work that takes place behind the scenes.Â
