Cant select 7.1 surround as a playback device

Hello, I've installed Razer AppEngine to enable 7.1 surround and to finish the setup it says: In order for 7.1 Surround Sound to take effect, it has to be selected as the system's default playback device. The problem is that i dont see 7.1 Surround Sound as an option at my playback devices. I tried install and reinstall Razer AppEngine and troubleshoot audio from Device Manager, unistall drivers from Heaphones and Speakers but nothing seems to work. What can i do next?

Is there by any chance an alternative to fix this aside from re-formatting the pc?

so open device manager > click on sound, video and game controller > action ( beside the file on the upper right) > add legacy hardware >next > search blablabla (recommended) > next > then choose sound, video and game controller> then find 7.1 surround sound then the rest you know what to do

Check out the following RAZER support thread https://insider.razer.com/index.php...to-activate-and-use-7-1-surround-sound.69784/ If the issue is with the activation code, but you have a valid S/N and product number of your headset, contact the RAZER Support by clicking here
