Hello, I have an out of warranty Razer Blade that needs repairs. Experiencing a black screen, however laptop fully functioning when pluged into an external monitor, even the touchscreen is still working. I have followed the troubleshooting steps of the page listed below, but to no avail. "How to fix a Razer Blade that displays a blank or black screen" What is the solution/repair required? Thanks in advance, Tom

No display also when you'll run your laptop (at bios level)? If yes, it might be an issue with screen ribbon cable or the screen itself.

Yea, nothing at all on start up, completely black. If its a problem with the screen would that require a completely new screen, and if so, is that expensive and/or worth the investment? For reference the laptop is the 2017 model, however still runs incredibly smoothly.

Still worth. I'd search for some laptop repair shop, they'll diagnose if it's just a cable or the screen, many professional shops have replacements available, so they'll offer you some.

If you think it's the screen, try plugging in an external monitor. That should let you know if it's the screen or a bios issue.
