I'm probably not the only one with this problem...The headset constantly turns off and resets when switching from different applications (Discord, games, browser, etc.). After a long search, I found out that I need to update the drivers of the headphones themselves, that is, the firmware. But I can't update these drivers in any way. I follow the instructions strictly, the dongle has been updated, everything is ok, but in the next step, when I need to connect the headset via USB to the computer, nothing happens. No matter what I do, the computer and the program do not recognize that I have connected the headset via USB (the headphones are just charging), and the next button in the update application does not light up, preventing further action accordingly. I have windows11pro with all the latest updates. I tried updating the driver on another computer with windows10pro, the same problem. Does anyone know the best thx eq and calibration settings for razer blackshark v2 wired? I mostly play single player games.

I recently purchased a leviathan v2 x and it was DoA. So I contacted support and RMA’d it and just received the replacement speaker. I connected it via the provided USB-C to my computer and after pressing the power button it began to turn on but almost immediately went dead. Now no matter what I try it still will not power on. I’ve tried different USB-C ports and a known working USB-C cable. I was wondering if anyone here had any other suggestions. (I have also updated my open RMA for the original one so I’ll be waiting to hear what support has to say as well.) Thanks

I like playing games ranging from COD to Farming Simulator going through things like Witcher, Baldurs Gate, etc. I like gaming while wireless (bluetooth connection, i don’t like dongles) btu also need my headset to be able to work connected (whether 3.5mm jack or USB, with slight preference for USB).I also need the headset to have a microphone.The reason for the cable need is work: i do work from home using my personal computer, and i do need to attend meetings and calls using software from my company. This software does not allow for wireless headsets to be used, basically soudn does not go through. Because of this i am interesed in a headset which i could plug in and use as if wired while i am working, but wireless for all my down-time and gaming.For reference i already have a RAZER BARRACUDA X, the old version which had no Bluetooth but rather only dongle. I am looking ot upgrade since the dongle itself stopped working and it now works exclusively as wired…thus the need for a blueto

I own Razer nari for over a year and I now have a problem with the headset constantly disconnecting and unsuccessfully reconnecting with the sound like when you are out of reach when sounds start playing. I tried to change usb slots for the dongle, but it did not help. When in the sound settings tab, it endlessly re updates with "Razer nari chat" and "Razer nari game" as an option. Previously, when I played Skyrim, the headset crushed when I played and charged it at the same time, but it was exclusively Skyrim. There are no other effects on the system, only infinitely reconnecting headphones. Restarting pc and turning the headset on/off also did not help. I tried updating the drivers and reinstalling Razer synapse, but that did not help. The headphones hadn't had any physical damage. Connecting via USB to the pc does not seem to have any effect, except my pc refuses to detect headphones at all. Also, when I enter the sound settings, the window sometimes crashes. Dongle rec

Is there someone that can help me with a brand new headset that has buzzing sound in the backround. tested all USB slots and still there. i reinstalled the app and still there. help please :)Its on the Razer blackshark V2 pro 2023 edition

So I just bought this headset and love it but it started powering off on its own so i went to update firmware and for the life of me i cant do it. There are reddit posts on the topic. I ended up getting the advanced replacement and now have the same issues with that one. Is there a trick to doing it? i follow the steps and when i get to the part where u gotta disconnect and reconnect it fails after about 4 min. Any suggestions on how to get this PoS to work??

I see this text when requesting an activation key: "Your Razer device is not eligible to receive the 7.1 Surround Sound activation code. Please refer to the section "7.1 Surround Sound System for Gaming headset" for information on suitable products." What should I do?

Just got a razer thresher for Xbox. Haven't really figured it out yet, and I'm curious if I can connect to my phone via Bluetooth. Is it possible, and how?

I want to ask Razer about my problems with Razer nari Ultimate and razer hammer head. First with Razer Nari Ultimate. There is no connection via usb transceiver with my pc. Ihave done everything adviced in the forum and I think the dongle is not connecting (somehow) and should be replaced. The repairing programs doesn fix anything, synapse 3 is not recognising the device. The gaming set was used with no problems, and the audio is good. Razer Hammerhead i have for 3 years and is being used 5-10 times for 20-30 min. Since 2022 im not using it beacuse one earbud is not connecting, not charging and afterwards the mother is not charging. So f the mother. Razer you have really good products but only the mouse and the mousepad are working properly. Sorry, switching to Logitech

About two weeks ago, me and my brother were sword fighting with plastic swords. I was ducking to avoid a hit and my razer barracuda x headphones fell to the ground. And ever since, as i turn the dial on the side, the volume goes up in one ear, and half way, it stops anything coming from said ear and starts rising in the other. I have bought another pair of razer barracuda x but i want to see if i can fix the broken pair. Can anyone help?

Hello fellow insidersI'm having an issue with my Razer Blackshark V2 X headset on 3.5mm analog jacks. During the cleaning process of my PC, I had to unplug every piece of hardware in the backplate. After the cleaning, I plugged the headset back in and now I'm having multiple problems: 1)The 7.1 surround sound program doesnt let me configure the 7.1 sound (The app instructs me to set "7.1 surround sound speakers" as system default, but when I set the “7.1 surround sound speakers” to default it does not detect the 7.1 headset option, only the "Realtek(R) Speakers". I tried using the Realtek(R) speakers but the quality and strength of the sound is 3x worse). 2)My headset microphone is not being detected even after replugging, and I'm constantly hearing static and myself when talking or tapping the mic. I tried re-installing the 7.1 surround sound app, looked everywhere in the windows settings, plug the headset into different ports. The issues appeared suddenly and I would be really thankf

Hey everyone! I have an older Razer headset, the Kraken Tournament Edition i bought back in the old days (2019) and it came with THX and a dongle. In Christmas, I finally got a normal proper mic, the Blue yeti, and i since connected the headset through the audio port in the mic. Only issue is that it removed it from my Razer Synapse section and i was wondering if connecting it straight to the pc through the audio port will detect in Synapse or do i have to connect it to the dongle then connect it to the pc? Also, is there any real value to the THX modes? I play mostly Rainbow Six Siege right now. 

I didnt receive  7.1 surround sound code and i cant found it  (i bought it from amazon) so i cant benefit from 7.1 razer and headset software

Hi I have a Razer BlackShark V2 THX spacial audio and I updated synapse 3 and I have no sound what so ever.I already did everything.I unistall and install again , update my drivers, check my sound settingsand even updated windows and everything is fine.I even install razer synapse BETA and I do have sound with that ( funny joke you guys have ) but just like everything from software department on Razer it doesn’t work very well. So someone is gonna help me fix this or how can I get a refund ???Never gonna recommend razer products to anyone

Barracuda X pairs easily with my Nintendo Switch.  My question is, when using the Audio App on my iPhone, when I select Gaming Mode or adjust the EQ settings, do those settings carry over to the Switch when I connect the headphones?  Or are those settings in the app only applied on my iPhone, for mobile gaming, music, etc.?

Hi guys, i had blackshark v2 and i wanted to go wireless so i bought the blackshark v2 pro 2023. The moment i wear them they felt worse since they are way heavier since they are wireless but thats ok.The main problem is the sound was way different and not with the good way ... I played with razer synapse and sounds but still they sound really bad ... I unistall synapse because its dogsht and i had fps issues and it had sometimes smt like a sound lag?!?! but they quality was so bad after unistalling that it was comparable to a 5$ headphones that i bought in 2010.What should i do? What should i do to not use synapse but have a good sound? (i tried dolby atmos but still ...)

hellorecently im hearing  weird noise and buzz on my headset and its mostly  happening when im watching videos in youtube or twitch  . yet it can happen on some other offline videos too but its pure clean  and nice in games.the noise or buzz happening in some harsh sounds or even when someone is speaking and its really annoying .and it dosent mater if THX spacial is active or not , its not dependent on USB sound card i can hear it on 3.5 jac.same for drivers  usb or thx spacial  wont make change as default driver. im using windows 10 build 19045browser or application dosent matter i have tested severalheadset firmware is updated but it each time i reset system or unplug the headset the firmware get remove from it  or at least  updater dosent show me  the message that latest version is already installed.i have tested the headset on another system too , same problem remain .i have tested all usb gates on my motherboard , problem remain same. 

Just purchased the blackshark v2 hyperspeed wireless headset, and immediately ran into an issue. Whenever I am in a discord call/voice chat, my PC automatically blocks out any other audio like youtube/games/music. This happens when im using the headset wirelessly through the hyperspeed dongle, and through bluetooth. Now when I play through a USB cable from my headset straight to the PC, this problem is fixed BUT the audio quality is really terrible and sounds awful.I have updated the firmware, deleted and reinstalled synapse (which the problems occur whether synapse is open or not), fiddled with the sound control panel on Windows 10, and a bunch of other things.Do i really need to buy another headset just to use discord and another program at once?
