Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 on Synapse 3!

As in the title, I have recently purchased this cool headset but I cannot modify it from the chroma option of synapse 3 cause kraken 7.1 v2 is not supported. Is there any chance to be implemented in?

Sorry for resurrecting this, but I STILL have to keep Synapse 2.0 for my Razer Kraken V2 7.1 to work...

Razer for fucks sake, can you please for the love of christ fix this issue, what's the fucking point of having to use 2 different Synapse programs..

Also, anybody else have the issue of changing settings(lighting and mic) on your headset in Synapse 2.0, and the settings wont ever be saved?
I want to change my lighting from spectrum to breathing in a static colour, and it keeps reversing it for some reason. I've reinstalled, logged out and in and so fourth..

Razer doens't have any headphones supported on Synapse 3.0. You need to download the old Synapse 2.0 and there you will see your Krakens settings.
Yeah, having 2 synapses for different peripherals in a setup sucks. Please import all existing peripheralls from synapse 2 to 3 please, or just make it one, I don't care if it's Synapse 2.0 or 3.0, just.make.it.all.into.one.program, so we don't have to deal with this..
quite disastrous to think that all their headsets are on the old synapse 2

I recently spoke with a dev and they said they are working on an update for Synapse 3 that will enable it to recognize all Razer devices that are supported in Synapse 2. It should be coming out in the near future and fingers crossed it fixes the problem. Hope this info helps!

Hello,

I'm the product manager for Synapse and I can categorically say this is NOT true. Synapse 3 will NOT support all Razer devices. It is logistically and technically impossible for us to do so. All legacy device work is currently suspended and there is no such update in the works at this moment.
I got

Razer Kraken 7.1 V2 (Synapse 2, my 2nd Razer headset),
Razer Death Adder Elite (Synapse 3, my 2nd Razer mouse), and
Razer BlackWidow Chroma V2 (Synapse 3)

I've been waiting for over a year for Razer Synapse 3 to support my Razer Kraken 7.1 V2. Even though I got Synapse 2 crashes every once in a while and it seems to drain my CPU and RAM a lot, I hoped that when all my Razer devices will finally be supported by Synapse 3 it would be resolved.

Now I'm deciding on my next gaming monitor and if it wasn't for all these Synapse 2 legacy problems, I'd seriously considered Razer Raptor 27 gaming monitor (found a review here: https://www.pcmag.com/roundup/295881/the-best-gaming-monitors). But I will not get a Razer device anymore, good job Razer! Put a team on it and update your software finally!!!
Just got an update and there's now a tab in the devices list in synapse 3 showing which enabled devices still need synapse 2, it also works as a shortcut.
Guys, wtf. How long does people have to wait for it. Stupidest roll out of soft ever. Fix this thing, as it is getting more and more annoying. With that reaction time you are just pushing me personally to get next headset, mouse and keyboard from a competitor.

They are completely overwhelmed with all those things. No plan, no working software developement, no experienced hardware designers, no CEO that cares or that knows howto !
It's a fake of a premium company. They only have a nice color, and some fanboys, only a lot of cold air.

Well, I disagree with you regarding their CEO. Their CEO cares and really listened to feedback. He brought back paid to play (although not as good as previous one but he added more ways to earn silver), released Razer Monitor (although it is a bit too expensive) and replied to tweets on Twitter (although mostly streamers and popular person) despite of death threats(I dunno which irrational person did that). Please bear in mind that Razer is the only company that provides many freebies to gamers compare to others (although it is a bit hard to earn). So we need to be thankful that we have him.

You see, the problem actually relies on the software development team, especially Razer Synapse 3 ones, you should blame them, not the CEO, the CEO has a lot of things to care about and he is currently busy handling stuffs (follow his twitter account)

May be, you are right. I never got or read a feedback from him, on the serious problems Razer has, when it comes to software development.
And there is also another fact, that is positive to Razer: they have a forum like this here. And meanwhile, they don't delete all those posts, negative to their company. I like that, and therefor I am still here.
But what I don't like, and never will, is a situation, that expensive hardware comes out with design problem or with buggy drivers, within a frame of two years. Thats a NO GO !
And also, e.G. , that expensive hardware, like blades, die because of battery problems, or Tartarus thumb keys break within month. Never got an official statement. There is no excuse, that some other compmpanies habe similar problems !
No one is ever perfect, but I don't want to be cheated.
got myself a brand-new pc and now my kraken 7.1 v2 is completely denied by synapse 2 and they sound like utter shit
thanks so much, razer, fuck you, burn in hell
Still no kraken 7.1 v2 in synapse 3, some while ago there was added a mouse into Legacy(s3) I think... so let’s hope to the end of the year because of Coronavirus :frown_:
wait, did you download it as a module or it came with the synapse itself? Cuz My synapse seems to be updated without such tab appearing
Yeah, I agree. Please?

I bought it hoping, for that price, it would have proper support too. 😛
It's amazing that Chroma Visualizer can control the Kraken 7.1 v2 lighting but the Chroma Studio can't.
Razer please.. add Kraken 7.1 v2 to Synapse 3 !!
yes, kindly do: "Razer please.. add Kraken 7.1 v2 to Synapse 3"
So far mine has been working with no issues

Per another thread I saw somewhere here they've been focused on fixing bugs/crashes in v3. Admirable and necessary work to which I say thank you as, a new user, I've managed not to hit any of the bug/crashing issues reported across synapse/chromaStudio/Hue Integration, etc

For myself, I'm mostly irked and mildly inconvenienced with having to run both v2 and v3 SW to support my mix of devices. Hoping they can shift resources back to feature work from bug work now that the product seems more stable...pretty please with a cherry on top?

You were actually able to make the request so much more polite and compelling than I did. Lol.
Cheers.

I too do the softwarez - the struggle is real. That said, having to use beta software for production devices (with no alternate) seems dicey at best...

...waiting patiently, for now...
