I'm really curious about the audio quality, as well. I'm not a huge fan of wireless audio (although my Hammerhead BTs are constantly attached to my ears, for expedience), because it has to be compressed, but the option to have it in a wired mode really piques my interest.

The addition of feedback with Hypersense will make it extremely interesting, although I wonder how much the gel pads will actually damper the vibration effect. Will the servos have to work that much harder to compensate (this would definitely attribute to the less-than-expected battery life)?

If I get a chance, I'll definitely get a pair. I have yet to experience the true Razer/THX combo.

Here you find pre-sample headset review. This answer all your question from post.

So it's time to give my feedback :P
Headphone feel premimium for sure earcaps feel nice you dont feel the heat after some time using it. Oring on grill is plastic so right now is hard to say it will be a issue for months or years. Buttons and dial feel nice much better then on man o'war or tresher i can tell dial has soft feel, buttons smoothed. Earcaps are large your ears will be cover for sure 😛 adjustable headband is thiker and very soft so your dont any weight on head. Only one problem with this headset from build they dont squize the head to much when you move quick headphone will move or fall. When i got them i try on stock settings and this was not very good expiriance when i adjustable settings on synapse like THX turn on and set to sorround and change the EQ to let say music headphones turn to beast ^^ sound great but on electronic music music or rock alternatice they sound great on music without bass like nickelback luluby vocal was great but guitar flat ;/ but in EQ is way to fix this by cutom profile on eminem river sound really good, theory of the deadman angeal the same story like nickelback but little better. On games i can say it sound great you feel where sound is going and expiriance is amazing i try on heroes of the storm and overwatch with haptics enable and sorround sound you are aware from where opeople are walking you hear them very well every foot step. In game haptic is great fetaure on music not very well after few minutes you have feeling that is little annoing in higher the volume the hapic is more powerful on 100% you have ear massage ^^. My conclusion is Nari ultimate is amazing headphone Focus on gaming aspect and have a lot of flexibility in terms of settings to your needs. I Few things is really strange and missing like status % battery in synapse, share settings between profiles like mic on/off. I give solid 8/10

I've reached out to them on Twitter but this is going to come down to 3 major factors to me:
1) Can I use the Razer Nari in wireless mode with Chroma when at the wireless transceiver range?
2) Can I use the headset for audio using the 3.5mm jack when away from the wireless transceiver range?
3) Can I use the 3.5mm jack when the headset's battery is dead (just no chroma/haptics)?

And 1 minor factor that I'd love to see, but won't stop me getting it (assuming the 3 major factors are met): Can I use Chroma lighting when away from the wireless transceiver and using 3.5mm audio?

1) You can
2) You have cable 3,5mm jack to 3,5mm jack in box and jack port in headset it self
3) If Probly yes jack port transfer power between devices so it should work. I dont quite sure how razer go with this so the best way wait for relese and cheack review.

I'm thinking to change my Trasher X-box One to Nari Ultimate but few things is stoping me right now. Music is ok even great but in classic or rock people say is flat ;/ and the orings on each side are plastic so over time they my pretty much scrach. Overall there amazing improvment over man o'war,

Nice to see a new wireless headset lineup come out, although the whole wireless thing is not my favorite, I know many people have wanted this for a while now.

So far I have heard they are good and the haptics are good depending on game, in busy multiplayer scenes in a game like Overwatch apparently it gets a bit messy and annoying, but if it is just a smaller amount of people in a game like CS:GO i hear it is really good.

Also goes for music, apparently some music sounds really good with the haptics and then other types of music don't sound as good. I might look into it more whenever my Kraken's bite the dust (That is if there isn't a newer variation around by that time).

Nice!! Look forward to using it

Nice one, but i think they'd rather make just 1 out of 3, and more performant.

Here you find pre-sample headset review. This answer all your question from post.

Yeah, no. This video, in fact, answered NONE of my questions.

It said nothing about audio quality over wireless, just that some genres sound better than others, but I would attribute that to the actual tuning of the speakers themselves, not to wireless technology.

It also said nothing about battery life in reference to the haptic feedback, or if the servos had to work harder to compensate for gel pads vs foam.

I think I'll have to wait for a full review with testing.

Yeah nothing like midrage is flat is no info great, bass is punchy and loud is too no information to customer ;/, 8h of battery life is probably on wire lol with chroma turned on and gel pads have tunels to glasses but with comfort over time you have right he dont say if this cooling gel is working over lets say 6/8h of usage. When nari ultimate will be avalible i will buy !
Looks awesome
This! This is what I need for work so I can keep working and tune out everything else going on in the office!!! This is completely perfect!
hey it's look good
When will the Razer Nari Ultimate be available?

Let us know soon! I got my finger on the order button just waiting for a few more reviews. The haptics within regular music appeals to me too...just want to make sure it's not solely annoying all the time or anything like that.
If your into games then yes, the haptics in BFV AMAZING and really pull you into a gaming environment. Music didn't really notice much difference over the Kraken.

The downside for me is the battery certainly only lasts 8hrs max and there is no way to turn haptics off without going into the Synapse software.
Userlevel 5
I have made a review of them, if you wanna take a look.

Well tested the haptics. You really do feel like you’re in the game. Guess I’m gonna have to save up for the ultimate model now. Don’t think there’s cheaper headphones with Haptics. Can anyone else comment on the audio of these versus the Kraken V2?
