Keyboard from Canada bricked my pc
I just got a 500$ PC from Best buy. I decided to buy razer ornata chroma from Amazon bc it was cheaper refurbished. The refurbished keyboard that came was from Canada and this fact wasn't mentioned in the description. Upon plugging the keyboard bin my computer went into a loop of "your PC ran into a problem sad face" thing. Amazon is able to return the keyboard but that is it. My PC is a HP Elite Desktop Intel Core i-5 16 GB of memory 2-TB hard drive. I have no money to buy or fix my computer and I need it for school as well as to cool off on weekends can someone please help. Edit: the keyboard did not come from Canada . Fact is the only problem I had started after I plugged this keyboard in, no apps, can't click bottom bar with search and windows icon, couldn't do it in safe mode either.

In total I have spent over 1000$ on razer equipment: 3 Razer Krakkens (240$), a pair of Hammerhead BTs v(100$) Mamba Elite mouse (90$), landyard(20), Razer phone 2(500), sphex mousepad (12) 2 XHammerhead pro v2(80) I am not sure I want to sponsor this company anymore if I don't get a good response to this.

I just paid 200$ to fix my PC (Update: no idea who is responsible now, maybe the software that is supposed to install like synapse,for the keyboard got corrupted or even the driver)
xARACHN1DNo I had to buy the year plan because it was 100 for the reinstall 50 for the analysis and there could be something else wrong on top of it so 200$ was cheapest and best option. I was forced to get the yearly plan and then remove my card. It's a corrupted operating system from a keyboard! I have the receipt from Best Buy if I need to prove it.
Im really sorry about that man! Maybe if its a simple fix, They wont charge you.
If you have all the proof. talk to Razer customer support, and demand they take you to at least level two support with the issue immediately. then start talking about compensation. If you have proof, Then I am sure they will do something.
Amazon said go to Razer. Razer said go to reseller. Reseller(reforged) says go to Best Buy if its their computer are you sure you didn't break it? I need to call best buy later or I'll wait for them to text me when it's done then I can see what went wrong. I did have a solitary mod that I was confident it wouldn't break my computer because I played after the last update and even after a restart. (This mod isn't through the game or anything like Steam it just has its own website) I will check their policy just in case. Even so even if it was this mods fault it wouldn't make sense for it to break my PC on startup if I had downloaded the newest update, played it, and even used my computer another time afterwards. I'm highly doubtful that Best Buy is responsible but even if they are im not going to get compensation for buying a one year plan.

The mod in question is called Path of Diablo. Since it's a free mod and not through Blizzard I was told they still look over the code to make sure it's not any viruses. My three perps now are Windows update, PoD update, Best Buy

BadgertistaCant change titles. But I was under the false impression that different countries had different software for devices which I took for fact last week thanks for noticing.
