USB hub used for five Razer peripherals | Razer Insider
Skip to main content
Hi,

I am currently running the following peripherals: Razer Naga Chroma, Blackwidow Chroma V2 and an Orbweaver Chroma. Tomorrow I am going to be getting both Razer Nommo Chroma and a Goliathus Chroma. Stupidly, before I purchased them I did not think about the additional USB slots that would be needed so I am currently looking for a USB hub that might be able to run all the peripherals together or at least the majority of them. Would any particular USB hubs be better? Or would they all work for this purpose? I am just a bit concerned about the amount that I would be running from it. Because of this, I have been looking at the more expensive powered hubs. These are the two I was looking at:

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!
I don't know if you are using a razer laptop but you could get a razer laptop stand chroma. it comes with 3 extra usb ports. if that is not enough then buy the razer base station that holds your headphones. it has chroma as well and also 3 extra usb ports. the laptop stand is 100 and the base station is 60.

Sorry, should have mentioned that it’s a PC, not a laptop.
Then you could still buy the base station.
If you want a good hub i can say for sure i dont recommend you any hub without external power source in this case addiniotal powerbrick that will provide power when your devices will need them and usb port cant handle that. Also get hub from brand that that you know and you trust thay have good quality device.
Personally, I bought the chroma base station. It provides 3 additional USB ports in addition to what's behind my PC. So, I have mouse, keyboard and mouse mat plugged into my base station and then I plug in the base station and Leviathan to the back of my PC.
blackwidow doesn't seem to care about us hubs(at least mine didn't). Not sure about orbweaver, but my tartarus V2 didn't work in synapse 3 when connected through a hub. Personally for me, I gave up and ended up installing adittional usb ports into my pc(thankfully my motherboard had an extra header), which I aslo suggest. But really you should check with your hub first, and if that doesn't work use an expansion card like I said
