this looks super neat!!
Looks really clean and sleek 😛
Dreaming of a Nordic language layout and official release in Sweden as well.
The author in me is very, very, very happy with this one. Just... I'm hoping it won't be one of those "exclusively Razer Store, exclusively US centered" things that won't at all be available in the rest of the World or with any other layout than US.

Listen up, Razer! We need this! Please...? 🙂
This would be nice to place in my work bag.

You’ve never heard anything like this. The Razer BlackWidow Lite is our first ultra silent mechanical keyboard—designed for stealth-like productivity, made for full gaming performance:

Equipped with Razer Mechanical Orange Switches—our quietest switch yet—the Razer BlackWidow Lite provides tactile feedback with optimized actuation and reset points for responsiveness, along with durable side walls to keep dust and liquids out. Each key features global white LED backlighting, so you won’t ever miss a key even when you’re in a dark room.

With a lifespan of up to 80 million keystrokes, this compact keyboard is an incredible feat in the workplace, and ready for a quick game in between breaks. And when you’re ready to work on the go, just detach the keyboard’s cable for easy packing.

Looks sick but not really my style. I like how Razer is broadening their horizons beyond just gaming

this would match my Atheris perfectly if it was wireless ;)

+1 for this.
And wristrest will be great too, for office use 🙂
I need one for work
Simple, yet elegant. This one's a keeper! A nice portable option for gaming on the go, this is definitely gonna be my next purchase. Would love a numpad version if it's in the works. I was on the verge of purchasing the Firefly, it's quite useful for gaming when there's no even surface. Seeing this, I'm having second thoughts... (guess I can manage on a membrane keyboard, for now. Getting a stable mousing surface is more important for me...)
Very nice. Simple with backlit keys. I can't wait to get one. Keep the great ideas comin'.
Honestly my try it out after my current keyboard wears out in a few years

Release one with Razer Green or an equivalent to Cherry MX Green switches.
Everytime I look at the picture, the more I drool about it

this. i like!
but the blackwidow v2 te also has a detatchable cable...
Looks Great!!!

Massdrop CTRL is better.

Same form factor, 2 USB C ports, RGB, HOT SWAP SOCKETS, so you can change to any MX style mechanical switch you want.

... for 200$ USD and not widely available

The Blackwidow Lite is only 90$ and is meant to be, well, a lite version ...

The Blackwidow Tournament Edition Chroma V2 is also just 120$, comes with a wrist rest ...

So, is the abilility to "HOT SWAP SOCKETS, so you can change to any MX style mechanical switch you want" that is only aimed at a small % of the end user actually worth the 110$ & 80$ USD difference and makes it better for the majority?

It's not like Razer switches were not as good as Cherry MX switches.

Razer also does RGB better than anyone else.
Add Chroma (duh), a palmrest and compact media keys and you'd have the Blackwidow Ultimate TE. That's what I want.

Razer is almost synonymous with Chroma. Seems off brand to not include it in any real form. I do love the compact design, switches and metal frame but without those other features I'll pass on this one.

And no 10 key on a "work" keyboard? Does not compute.
