I do need to know before buying it

So whenever I’m playing games for a prolonged period of time at random my keyboard will start typing = over and over again on its own without any warning or even the key being pressed as I never have anything bound to this key when playing  any idea what’s happening or how to fix it?

I'm looking at getting the blackwidow v4 pro I am unsure if it do the things that I'm interested in. At the office, I use a mapping software called ARCGIS that requires a lot of zooming and scrolling. The data is displayed in something that is relatively similar to excel, scrolling up/down, left/right in the spreadsheet or zoom in/out of extents would be helpful. Has anyone used this keyboard like this outside of gaming? My wife got me the headphones and a mouse which I love and would like expand on the razer ecosystem. 

I have a problem on my keyboard. Shift is stuck, or it is moving up very slowly. Is there a way to change the switch under the keyboard with another key? How do i do it?

One day I kind of slammed my fist onto my keyboard, and the lights turned off, and only turn green when you click them. I don’t know how to fix it and it’s been bothering me not having the leds normally. I have a huntsman mini and when I try to open the software (Synapse 3), it won’t work.

Earlier this morning I got a razer black widow ultimate the first gen version so no buttons or dials. I got it for only 15 dollars and it was in pretty decent condition, the only problem I'm finding with this 100% keyboard is the rgb, the razer software I have to use is named razer configurator and I can only change the the brightness and whether or not I want the rgb pulsating. when I go inro razer synapse it wont recognize the keyboard and says legacy devices and when I hover over it it says “this device needs Synapse 2.0: Razer BlackWidow Ultimate”. Does anyone know if this is the only rgb I can get because its such an old keyboard or if I can use a different software and change it?

my razer blackwidow v3 pro keyboard is doesnt light up blue, when i light up blue, it light up red, when i light up green and red, it perfectly works, i thougt blue leds are died. but if blue lights died, i think it doesnt lit up, but it lit up red, i didnt think it is broken, because it happened suddenly, can somebody help :(my warranty ended.

I bought my Razer Blackwidow Elite in 2020, and I have been using it since. It is in excellent condition, and recently the keys began double clicking. In the sense that randomly any key will register twice and a word will end up like thhis for example. I’ve tried the following to no avail: Changing computers (a Mac and a Windows laptop) Clean re-installing synapse Factoring resetting the keyboard (using the fn+esc until led flash method) taking apart the keyboard and cleaning the motherboard with isopropyl alchohol using compressed air to clean out surface dust and dust underneath the key mechanism. Nothing works, the double press issue affects all keys except the volume scroll and media pause play skip buttons. I genuinely have no idea what’s going on, and help would be appreciated as my warranty is over.

When I start Diablo IV 4 my keyboard turns Red, which means that it’s seeing my keyboard.  But when I enter the game, my action keys (1-4 and spacebar) do not change color.  My Son has the Cynosa and his keyboard does.  I checked his settings and they seem all the same as mine.  Do I have something wrong?  Or is it that the Ornata does not have that capability?Thanks for the help!

Hey! I have somehow managed to break the little "plus shaped" part of two of my key switches on my brand new Hunstmans V2 TKL, and after spending a few hours waiting in line for Razers so called support, i was shocked by the fact that they couldnt help me with anything. TL;DR: I have to buy a new keyboard because two of my keyboard switches are broken. I have seen spare switches on aliexpress and e-bay, but most of them seem to be for the Huntsman Elite. Does anyone have any experience with replacing switches on the Huntsman V2 with third party replacements? Kind regards, Michael

I just got my Razer Blackwidow V4 pro and it looks great.One of the interesting features that made me want this one even more was the “ Track jogging”  (fast forwarding and rewinding music with the command dial). This seems to work fine when Spotify/Youtube is in focus, but when minimized or not in the foreground it doesn’t work at all. Does anyone know if this is a setting I'm missing? The whole feature seems completely useless if it doesn’t work on out of focus media players...

My new Razer BlackWidow V3 Quartz keyboard's USB is not being detected by my PC, while all other USB devices are working fine. I've tried different ports and cables but it still doesn't work. Any suggestions on how to fix this issue?

Hi there,I’ve been using my Razer Huntsman keyboard for almost 3 years and recently it started to have an issue. My L key suddenly stopped working so I tried to fix it or at least identify the issue but it seems to be all in the PCB. I’ve tried these things:hard resseting the keyboard - did not help interchanging the mechanical parts of switches - did not help, the part is definitely working  cleaning the sensor with compressed air and with an solution for cleaning internal components and motherboards - did not help By this I figured it is probably the sensor on the PCB since the switches are linear optical. Did anyone else encounter this issue? Ive seen a few reports here about L key specifically not working but noone provided a solution. I am using a Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro connected via dongle (also bluetooth on my work device) and Razer instructions state to use FN + C to toggle onboard lighting profiles, which I have set via Synapse. This. Does. Nothing.  I don’t have Synapse running in the background per Razer instructions, and this does not work via dongle or bluetooth. It literally does nothing. Only options I have are to fn + ctr + 1-7 to cycle between default lighting profiles.  Does anyone have any advice here?

One of the media keys on my Ornata v2 keyboard stopped working. It’s the previous track key, it just stopped responding to anything. The other media keys work just fine. I’ve tried resetting the keyboard, going into demo mode and reinstalling synapse but nothing seems to work. Does anybody have the same problem and know how to fix it?

How can I make the keyboard stay one color

I've had this keyboard from Razer for a while, and it's been working fine for a while, however when I picked it up to clean, my computer no longer recognizes it as a keyboard, it identifies the keyboard as "Razer Bootloader", and after looking for solutions I found the solution to download the keyboard firmware, but I didn't find a firmware available for my keyboard model, because it is an old model. And after trying to contact razer it said that I would have to pay for support, in a case that the solution is theoretically simple. So that's why I'm asking for support here... Does anyone know how to help me?

After installing the latest 1.05 firmware this “new feature” has stopped working:The keyboard can now be used on 2.4 GHz or Bluetooth wireless modes while it is being charged via Type C cableIt was working just fine with 1.04, but not anymore. Is there a way to revert back to 1.04 or fix the problem?

My huntsman mini isn’t working at all it was fine but i pressed i think it’s ( FN ) and it shows some rgb lights on some letters then it turned off and i pressed the same button again but nothing happened the keyboard isn’t working at all the rgb isn’t working nor the keyboard itself i tried to re-plug it but it didn’t help and i can’t open my pc because it requires password but i don’t have a keyboard to open it ! I tried to search in the internet for a fix but no one has like my problem many people have at least rgb lights but the can’t type I DONT EVEN HAVE THE RGB LIGHTS !

I have a Dealthstalker v2 wired keyboard. I want to create 3 different numpad lighting macros. Specifically when the Shift key is pressed and held (only when held), I want the numpad to be a specific color. When the control button is pressed and held (only when held) I want the numpad to be a different color. And finally, when numlock is on, I want the numpad to be yet a different color than when it is off. So I would like a baseline color and then change to each of these 3 colors in these 3 circumstances. I found how to make lighting macros, but it seems that I am not able to make lighting macros for these specific keys, in this specific way. Is there a way to do it? Thank you.

Just bought the Razer Huntsman V2 analog keyboard. The 2 keys are not working: number lock one and the no ‘1’ key on the number pad. Have tried the caps, esc and space bar press mechanism and it hasnt helped. The key board is brand new. I am on Mac Air. Any suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you.
