It's fast and cool :D
I like all underglow things 🙂
On my last post, I said I wouldn't buy this keyboard but due to a deal, I got this discounted. My issues still stand and a new one just came up.

Certain keys make this metallic clanking sound on key up (releasing the key after pressing down). It's most noticeable when pressing on the same key repeatedly. I'm guessing it's from their stabilizers and/or the springs. So far, it's most noticeable on the letter/key "S".

Anyone having the same issue? While it doesn't affect performance or anything, it can get annoying hearing clanking of metal.

"I don't see evidence that they deliberately copied it but they're definitely not the first. Most, if not all, of Bloody's current products seem to use light actuation."
Are you a troll? Purple one is Razer's, Orange one is A4tech's.

Not trolling. Just haven't seen those 2 side by side bit I do know that the principle that those work on is the same. And I'm not crossing out the possibility that they separately thought of the idea but the design of the switches doesn't make that convincing at all.

USB port on the keyboard. Since the kb already takes up 2 USB ports. Would be great for my desktop which doesn’t have many USB ports to begin with

Why does it need 2 ports? I'm guessing that the KB needs more power?
Its awesome! I really like the media controls!
The speed of light meets Chroma, and it's absolutely beautiful ❤
I just got my Huntsman Elite and I love it!!!! Goes great with my Naga and my Vespula for work.
Single greatest keyboard I've ever had the pleasure of owning and using.

It's perfection.

Beautiful job.
Can we get those optical switches in a Tournament Edition size????
I think releasing this keyboard with opto-mechanical switches is a step in right direction.
Due to contactless optical actuation, finally these switches are immune to chatter and can be considered 100% reliable. This keyboard will increase the overall quality and prestige of Razer products. Because let's face it: in metal contact switches, you can never know when a switch will develop chattering. I believe at least no Huntsman keyboard will be RMA'd because of key chatter.

If I might be so bold, I suggest Razer to completely abandon using traditional metal contact type switches and adopt opto-mechanical switches from now on.
You get best of both worlds by using opto-mechanical switches: The chatter-free nature, thus reliability of optical sensors combined with traditional mechanical keyboard switch feel. Win-Win.

The new purple clicky switches used in Huntsman are just great. I think Razer developers are already aware that now all we need is 2 more types of opto-mechanical switches:

1) Tactile (but Non-Clicky) Opto-Mechanical Switch.
2) Linear Opto-Mechanical Switch.

I have the Huntsman keyboard for 1 week now and enjoying it so far. Minimalist, clean design... I like it.

@Tysean everything take time 😛 for now i think more devices with this type of switch will be great like new keypad people wait for long time and later we see how market will behave.

I have the same issue but you dont do anything it's synapse itself issue ;/ We must wait for update with fix.

i disabled the apps as you can see in the attachment under "CONNECT" and "APPS" and everything works now.
hope this helps
Dose it work with xbox??
The lighting needs the software and that is a shame. Corsair at least has individual lighting onboard profile stored.
I ended up grabbing the Huntsman Elite, just to try something different after having blue and brown switch keyboards. I've found that this keyboard works wonderfully for both gaming and typing, with the switch offering a middle ground between some of the faster switches and blues. I love the tactile feedback, and the actuation point means I could type relatively quickly without putting as much force into each keys like I would with the blues. It's just a pleasure to use, even if the underglow is a little on the extra side.
new baby inta house? i like it!

Hes just being one of those picky keyboard people that if it doesn't come with everything he wants he will complain about the small things The keyboard has RGB lights all over it and its first time including real MM keys so really nothing to complain about

I'll be honest, I have never once used my my 5 macro keys, so I'm happy to see them gone, it just made my keyboards longer than I needed. Also, I think it was back on the Tarantula, but they have had at least one keyboard in the past that had media keys on it. They've just been discontinued for a very long time. I'm really happy to see them make a comeback.

I've never been a fan of clicky keyboards, I always purchased membrane until they stealth varieties came out, but this one feels fantastic and I might be able to overlook the sound for the feel this time. Especially since I don't think it's bottomed out even once, the key presses are so light and easy they never even make it to the bottom, except for the spacebar. It's quite impressive.

I like the idea of the new switch as long it keeps the Razer green click ill be happy I love clicky keyboard because thats how you know its a true mechanical keyboard and let everybody know "Hey I'm gaming!"
The new keyboard looks amazing and it keeps the style of the Blackwidow X which makes it clean, sleek, simple and modern

1. No one barely uses the 5 marco keys (They should just add an option for them at this point)
2. Who really cares about the MM keys not being backlit.
3. No they probably don't you are just being picky.
4. USB pass-through would be nice but not essential on a keyboard like this
5. There won't be a V2 for a very long time

1) People use and take advantage of the extra macro keys
2) Again, some people care about the small things like consistency
3) They actually do feel cheap when pressed/turned

I have had the chance to test the keyboard so I know what I am talking about.
What did i sign up for in that gleam 2 days ago?
Really like the look of this keyboard. Some features I want, some I don't. So I will wait for other devices to adopt some of the features.
Will just stick to my Blackwidow V2 for now. There are some more features that I wish were on there for the price. I do however really like the lighting on it.
It's using exact same switches as the ones in Bloody B975 keyboard. Even standard Huntsman keyboard costs more than Bloody B975. 💩
Why this keyboard is without left macro buttons 😞 , only blackwidow keyboard have this ...... WHY ??
I was dissapointing a little bit. Because no RAZER RGB illuminating logo! :frown_:
Whose design idea? How can you forget this important sign? Even Razer Cynosa Chroma this cheap keyboard has the RGB three-head snake.

*No hate, but my idea
