This keyaboard gives me a shock, in the bottom fo the wrist, it literally gives me a shock, i dont know if it is me that dont have an earth connection or something.. but it really hurts 😜

Does touching your PC case give you the same shock? I would guess the metal of the keyboard is somehow connected to USB ground. Your case should also be connected to ground. If touching the grounded metal of your PC shocks you, you probably should investigate your home wiring or replace your power supply. You are using a proper 3 prong grounded plug into the outlet to power your PC right? Any device that defeats the third prong (such as those 2 to 3 adapters or a power strip with the third prong pulled out) defeats the protection from shocks that the ground provides.

Anyone tried the huntsman elite yet? wondering how the actuation response is like compared to the conventional razer keys. What kind of resistance are those keys most closely comparable to? Thnx! =D

They are clickier than Razer Greens (even the new version of Greens, tried against a BlackWidow Chroma V1 and V2). They feel somewhere between MX Blues and what I remember of the old IBM Model M type keyboards (though I haven't used one of those in 20 some years, was in elementary school last time I used one). They're very loud which I like. They have a bit more resistance than MX Blues as well in my opinion (haven't done any scientific tests so maybe I'm wrong). I really like typing on this thing.

As for the opto-mechanical switches providing some sort of gaming advantage, I'm going to call BS on that. Maybe they do actuate a millimeter higher than conventional mechanical keys but do I feel this impacts my gaming? Absolutely not. I haven't noticed a difference in response switching from a BlackWidow Chroma to the Huntsman Elite.
I just watched Hardware Canucks review and I am really loving the design, as they made a step in right direction, making the footprint smaller and making the keyboard look less flashy and "gamery", which should appeal to wider customer range apart from gaming community...
What the hell is wrong with these guys! They perform incredible periphericals for us. I fell so great about being into this community. Just got my lancehead and my ornata but god. Ill have to get this keyboard too -.-

wow...the price of this thing
I don't particularly like mechanical keyboards but this one is pretty cool!

I really like the innovation with the new key switch, a very interesting idea to say the least.

ps. I just looked up the price here in Canada $269.99

Calling me fanboy to make a point in a razer forum o_O

There is a huuuge difference between being a brand loyal and being a fanboy. If you think that company you are supporting cannot do wrong, no matter how much they mess up, you are a fanboy - blind follower without critical thinking, unable to have your own opinion.

When you are loyal to the brand you will praise the company when it does good things and you will criticize it when it screws up. Thanks to fans like that companies that listen their community are generally doing great, as they tend to improve their products based on the feedback they get from their customers.

Apple is an exception to the rule, and they are doing great only because huge percentage of their customers are fanboys, so no matter how many times Apple screws them over, claiming that they are "holding the phone wrong" for example, they are coming back for more 🙂
The way the keys are designed I don't think regular O rings will work. The Cherry stem is surrounded by a plastic square.

1. He never said "everybody", he just said "people", meaning that there are SOME people that use macro keys, which is correct.
2. Not people who are picky, only people that want the product to justify the hefty price of $200. For that price, it should be P-E-R-F-E-C-T.
3. "maybe in the next batch it will be better"? Damn man, you have to be a fanboy in order to try and use that as an actual excuse for (again) $200 keyboard... *shakes head in disbelief*

So, i bought the huntsmann, and it looks quite nice right now, but is there a way to get the some rings or something, so that the noise isn't that loud?....

1. Why are you talking for everyone? NOT everyone uses marcos accept that
2. Yeah people who are picky and want every little detail to be perfect
3. The keyboard is metal, maybe in the next batch it will be better

fapfapfap! other than the new mech switches, very curious about the dial. can't wait to hunt down a razer store to trial the huntsman irl!
Man the price here in Brazil gonna be ridiculously expensive 😞 this is sad
Wow.. Awesome!
nice.. i like the color

They're taking it to the next level!
looks nice but you guys should really concentrate on fixing your various softwares first. both synapse and cortex are resource heavy, buggy, and have compatibility issues. cortex in particular is almost malware-like in its behaviors, spawning multiple processes that re-open when you try to close them
Can't get my hands on it yet but soon xD

another keyboard?! where's my toaster Min-Liang Tan!
Boy, i like it alot, just redeemed Cynosa PRO but this one jumps onto my wishlist for sure.
Keep it up RAZER! 💚
