Volume wheel for Blackwidow V3 Pro not working properly

Hi everyone,

I am hoping that someone has already run into this issue. I have a Blackwidow V3 Pro keyboard connected via cable to a Windows 11 Pro laptop. When I try to use the wheel to adjust volume up or down, I can rotate the wheel several times without any affect. When I push down to mute audio it works fine. I am on the latest version of the firmware, so I am kind of stuck on what to try next...

Same here, with the difference being that my volume wheel doesn’t work at all when unplugged. Win 11 desktop with the latest Synapse. Edit: Going in and out of “Demo Mode” seems to have done the trick for me:

  1. Switch the keyboard off.

  2. Unplug the USB cable.

  3. Press and hold “Escape”, “Caps Lock”, and the space bar.

  4. Plug the keyboard into a USB port or switch it on. (You are now in Demo Mode.)

  5. Repeat

Thanks for the info.. I will try that shortly and will follow up with results

I went through the steps a couple of times, but no real change.. When the keyboard is plugged in via USB, the power switch is set to off.

I tried following these steps but no change. Interestingly enough if I set both clockwise and counter-clockwise to volume up or volume down the keyboard works perfectly fine.

.. AWESOME.. thanks @GOGreenONYXhead343 ..

.. was having issues with the volume control not working properly on my Razer Blackwidow V3 Pro.. the volume would not increase or decrease properly when rotated..

.. did this..

  1. Unplug the USB cable.

  2. Press and hold “Escape”, “Caps Lock”, and the space bar.

  3. Plug the keyboard into a USB port while keeping the keys pressed (You are now in Demo Mode. None of the keys work, only lights up)

  4. Repeat

  5. Unplug the USB cable.

  6. Press and hold “Escape”, “Caps Lock”, and the space bar.

  7. Plug the keyboard into a USB port while keeping the keys pressed (You are now in Normal Mode.)

  8. Volume controls work perfectly.. :)
