Basilisk v3 disconnects when I lift it from the surface

The mouse disconnects when I lift it from the surface which makes any game unplayable, and the wheel does not work correctly. It hasn't even been used for 8 months, I have seen several similar issues without a specific solution, does anyone know what can be done?

Look, I had the same problem as you and I found the solution (the dumbest solution I've found). But before giving it to you, I've seen you in other posts and I know that months have passed since your query, also I have cut that cable from the FREE SPIN WHEEL, the point is that to definitively solve that is to use a USB to USB TYPE C adapter and with that that problem went away. It must be some fault with the USB cable of the Basilisk itself, but that USB to USB Type C adapter makes it work and the problem of when it gets up and does not detect is gone. I leave you a photo of the adapter.

I hope anyone who has this problem can take this solution and do it. Greetings!

Yeah, it's been a while so I bought an endgame mouse which from what I read usually lasts several years. Right now I don't have an adapter but I will try it in the near future to see if it works, I also cut the wheel cable and it didn't work, I will try the adapter when I can. Thank you so much.

You're welcome. I'm actually thinking about buying a new mouse too, although I've had that Basilisk for 3 or 4 years, but I still wish I didn't have that problem. That Endgame mouse really catches my attention though. Have a nice day!

I had the same problem. I finally fixed the mouse. Please find the link to the problem description and my solution how to fix it: https://insider.razer.com/razer-support-45/razer-basilisk-v3-unable-to-maintain-stable-connection-53607?postid=251038#post251038
