None of the side panels from the trinity will work with the naga pro due to different internals and voltages.

I am currently using Trinity Hex plate, only issue is button 7 is dead because it recognizes it as the 6 button panel.

I just bought a new mouse 2 days ago. I regret it now.

Most places have a 30 day no hassle return policy.

I am wondering will the 6 button panel from the Naga Trinity work for the Pro ?

The Hex wheel works, however without software support I was only able to keybind/use 1 - 6 leaving 7 dead.

Can we please get the heptagonal side panel back why would you remove it anyways the hexagon and heptagon has always been in a thing for the past 6 years! people really want it back ;-;

I was able to use my Trinity Hex Plate, however without software support I was only able to use/keybind 1 - 6. Hopefully they add software support or at least a hex plate to buy.

I just recieved my Naga Pro and the 6 button panel doesn't feel great compared with the Hex plate from the Naga Trinity/Naga Hex.
I was able to use my Naga Hex plate from the Trinity on the Pro but it thinks its the 6 button plate, without the software support it doesn't recognize button 7. Even so I was able to macro/set up custom keybinds for 1 - 6.

Any chance we can get Naga Trinity Hex Plate support for the Naga Pro in Synapse?

Thanks

@Dekades any chance mac users can get the ability to rekey map this mouse 🙂 I mean..like synapse 3 for mac? (I don't feel like partitioning my HD and running bootcamp)

Not a fan of detachables on my mouse but this look sick!

Not the biggest modular fan either, but some people are hardcore into this sort of stuff

I decided to try a different USB port before I created a ticket. So far so good, though time will tell if it stays good.

Glad to hear!

Those swappable side plates look comfy as function.
But are they uncomfy as in the grip of your hand?.... I wonder.

Super comfy. The mouse is wider then my basilisk and weighs a bit more. Great mouse, couldn't imagine a different one if I didn't play MMO's. If I'm just using the two button layout I'd consider the Basilisk as well. To me it comes down to where do you want your ring finger to be.

do you have any quotes for this? i checked master guides and manuals and cant find any info on that

I just swapped my trinity's 2 button side with my pro. I can confirm it doesn't work. They do fit perfectly but the buttons are not functional.

Sigh... now it's stuttering regularly again. Disconnecting/reconnecting from just a few inches apart.

Have you contacted our support team?
I just got my Naga Pro today, and when I connect via wireless, it seems to disconnect often. My colors go purple, then it may eventually switch back to green (color profile) and the mouse jumps during this time. The mouse goes offline far faster than the 1 minute powersave timeout.

I may have figured out the timeout issue... at least for now. I found that if I set the timeouts to 2 minutes instead of one, it seems to have overridden whatever the super short timeout is out of the box, so now it's behaving better.

What I have noticed is that the Bluetooth connection speed is terrible; I basically have to repair every time I connect the mouse. A Corsair (with many less buttons sadly) connects practically instantly. My hope was to BT connect this mouse to my ultraportable, and 2.4GHz connect it to my gaming rigs. While I can still do that, I have to prepare the ultraportable each time I want to use it by putting it on the discovery screen.

Also, I really wanted to order the mouse and dock together, but the dock is out of stock. I hope I can still get the discount!

My wallet be like
Yeah... That was i tought... Im sure the pro naga is an "overall" improvement from the trinity version, but still that dpi position really turns me off... simply because is an objective downgrade from the privious model

I love my Naga Pro. The scroll wheel feels a lot more solid than on my Naga Trinity, but I have to agree with @Darkdeal about the DPI buttons. I have them mapped to my Ult and F1 in Overwatch, and that distance between the scroll wheel and the front button adds that much time to activating my Ult - not great in-game. I'm sure I'll get used to it over time, but it seems a drastic - albeit small - change to the form from back on my Naga Epic Chroma.

I have also run into a small issue with the Hyperspeed USB Wireless Dongle, where it suddenly causes vertical jumps in mouse position. I haven't tested the Bluetooth connection to see if it happens there, as well, and no issues when running the mouse wired.

I really dont like the new dpi buttoms position... They seem too far away now and hard to reach...
I dont know... the good old naga layout was just better imo, no need to change
Great mouse, just got it in the mail today. Perfect timing for WoW Expansion and new world. The coupon to bundle the docking station was also much appreciated!
