My left/top speaker is very low. By it being that speaker in particular, makes it very hard to hear phone conversations, especially since I have a loss of hearing anyway. Although my phone is only 6 months old, it was bought second hand and of course Razer will not honor the warranty left on the phone. So my options are to either get a new speaker and or find out what is causing the low volume from that speaker if it isn't the speaker itself. I have the newest model with android 9 already on it P-MR1-RC003-RZR-190305.3110 If you think re flashing the phone is the problem, then I'll do that. If not, then I need to get the speaker replaced.

Hi All Just updated my Razer Phone 2 to Android Pie 9, originally was trying to check if they have added the AptX HD or LL codec in , but turns out the codec that is being used to transmit to my bluetooth true wireless earbud (Sennheiser MOMENTUM TW) has been downgraded to SBC, before upgrading to Pie, it was using AAC (checked under "Developer Option") and there is no way to change it, not even on developer option, double checked the "HD Audio: AAC" switched ON under the connected bluetooth device. Can anyone help to confirm if you have the same problem? not sure if it is only my device or it is actually the bug of the upgrade, or even worse they stopped the license for AAC in Android Pie altogether...........:frown_: btw, did Razer get the license for aptx HD or LL for razer phone 2 on andorid 9 Pie anyway? heard they didn't get it on android 8 oreo, was hoping they'd have it on pie.....

i dropped my razer phone 2 and the screen cracked. what are my options? if it can be fixed, how would i go about it with it being purchased off the amazon store?

Hello everyone so, i have been trying to figure this one out for a month now... While at our PAX East 2019 hotel, my friend managed to fry my new Razer Phone when he plugged it into his Satechi 75W Dual Type-C charger. He said it didn't seem to be charging his iPad Pro, so while i was in the shower, (i used my phone right before i got into the shower, it worked as expected, with a full charge) he plugged my phone into the 60W Power deliver port his iPad Pro used to see if it charges it. Unfortunately, i forgot if it actually charged or not. Got out the shower, got dressed, didn't get on my phone. 10-15 mins later, i pull out my phone to check stuff and it's totally dead! It had a 100% charge before i got in the shower. Nothing works; chargers, button combos, you name it. I RMA it to Razer and they said the main board is basically fried. General rule I go by is to keep magnets away from my electronics, but with the bt headphones having a built in magnetic clip it can be tough. Is the magnetic clip strong enough to mess up my RP2 screen / data / sd card / sim card???

I'm surprised I couldn't find a thread on this issue as I've read about it from a lot of tech reviews but when can we expect an update to fix the zoom camera? I get a crash about every third time I try to use it and have to reset the phone to get it back. I love the phone otherwise but I take a lot of photos and would like the camera to be more reliable. Hi all! A couple of days ago I got my hands on Razer Phone 2, and I am delighted with it so far. But one thing is itching me: no option to set color of Razer's logo different per application. I looked over the internet, and found in Chroma's FAQ that this is not possible. After that, I also found some unofficial application (Logo+) which enables that, but it isn't listed in Google Play store, so I am not sure if I want to download it. I would definitely like to have something like this: the logo doesn't need to light in the native color of each app, but it would be nice if the user could set in which color should the logo light for each individual app. So from the look of the logo I can find out which app is the source of the notification. Is this possible to implement without much hassle?

So today i plug in my old sony that i use to play music and receive the update notification. Its a lower end 200 euros phone and it's still getting security updates. Meanwhile this 700 euros phone doesn't have a security update in almost 1 year. Not talking about Pie, just a simple security update. How much work can it be? When i used custom roms on my Htc10, the developers who have other jobs and maitain the roms as a hobby/sidegig always put out the updates a few days (at most) after Google released them. Don't believe that on an very close to stock Android skin like Razer uses, that it would be too much work for some dev on their team to put out the security updates.is it too much to ask or expect from a phone that costs one month work here in Portugal? Can't help to feel let down by Razer. I took a chance on their first attempt at the phone market, and in return they abandon us. Needless to say that if they don't correct this i will never buy a Razer product again. I took a chance

I've been searching the web for awhile and still can't anything in regards to the default folder for Razer Phone 2 default ringtones, or notification sounds. Frankly, I want to use some sounds from the ringtone list for my notification sounds and vice versa. However, I just can't find the default sounds' storage location. Can anyone help me to locate them? Thank you very much.

Hey all, I'm hoping someone else has had (and solved) this problem. While playing anything via Bluetooth (youTube, PlayMusic, etc) I experience occasional failure when I tap my volume up button. When this happens the slider just bounces up and then back down. In order to increase the volume with the hardware button, I have to hold it down. Even when doing that, the slider dot bounces its way up the slider. The volume down button works just fine. On the advice of an Android developer friend, I enabled Developer Options and disabled Absolute Volume, but this has no effect on the bouncy slider. Any other advice?

As the title says, I want to not just game via the phone, but actually use my PC and use the phone as my 120hz monitor. The application is a super tight spot that needs a small screen, and I thought this would be great. I've seen USB-C to displayport/hdmi converters, but those usually work in the opposite way of sending the phone info to a monitor, not a PC's info to the phone display. Thanks for any help or point in the direction of software that provides this capability.

Has anyone had any success in using the Helium app on the Razer Phone 2? I recently ran a backup on my Galaxy S7 before purchasing the Razer Phone 2. I tried the same process on the Razer and the App on the PC will not recognize the phone. I have USB debugging enable on the phone and the android drivers are installed on the PC. I can also access files via the PC.

Hi there. I was wondering about this one which drives me crazy. I have Wifi/Data/GPS/NFC/BT and Dolby in my status bar for fast on/off. The only thing which needs your phone to be unlocked before making on/off is Mobile Data which you can't set on/off without finger print or gesture unlock. Thats not a big deal, but imagine your phone got stolen and you realize you have your NFC active, because you don't need a PIn when paying with NFC and you can ON/OFF NFC in status bar WITHOUT unlockign your phone which is a rally big threat for your card security. Any other fast settings in status bar doesn't need unlocking your phone. Is there a way to change these setting fro NFC on/off to need unlockign your phone the same way as data have? Also is tehre a way to remoe this feature from data? That drives me crazy everytime :D

Hi All, My phone is stock (not messed with) and has been fine until tonight. I put in on charge with the stock charger and cable, and i looked own an hour later and it was off. Now it wont switch on. Is there anything i can do to get it back on? Im puzzled. The phone is pristine and nearly new.

I've encounter some issues with the Razer Phone 2 after about 2 months. As this is my first aNdRoId phone, I hope someone can enlighten me on what I'm doing wrong. Thank you in advance! 1. Delay when unlocking phone with fingerprint. The phone freezes for about 2 seconds before unlocking sometimes. 2. The phone auto restarts every once in a while. 3. Apps and games crashes. 4. Wifi will not connect to my laptop's hotspot. 5. Ring and call volume randomly changes even though my volume buttons only adjust my media volume. 6. Dolby atmos randomly turns off by itself. 7. Razer logo on the rear sometimes flashes green when my phone is locked even though I do not have any notifications on my phone. 8. Play store crashes at least once a week. 9. When double clicking the lock button to open the camera, 50% of the time it freezes (black screen). I have always taken good care of my phones. So I have just recently bought Razer Phone 2 and switch over from iOS. (So expect minimum Android knowledge here) I bought an external SD card and have it treated as "Internal Storage" already. So here's the problem. I installed many games now and got photos and videos from my old phone move over. I put them into the phone through the cable plugged into phone, so from my guess it is moved into internal storage. I tried to move the entire Folder of those photo in "File" but the option "move to" is not selectable. That's the first question. Second is, how do I move "Game Data" to my external SD card. I have move all possible game into SD already (Cytus II seems to have some problem and have no option to "change" the store location), but in Storage setting, Game still taken about 21GB, so I assume that they are game data file (such as HD pack, CG, etc.) How do I manage them abd get them i to the SD storage? Hello, I have been fighting with my Razer Phone 2 now for 24 hours trying to get it to come back on. Yesterday morning I went to download and install the 7 Eleven app to see how many reward points I had under my phone number and to see what I could redeem them for. I opened up the app and nothing happened. Just a white screen. So I closed the app and tried to open it again. Same thing. I'm thinking to myself "Ok well this app just sucks." I go to uninstall the app and I get hit with an error popup message that reads "System UI not working" with two tappable buttons "About App" and "Close App". I tapped "Close App" after that my phone shut down and hasn't worked since. Methods I tried: Safe Boot = Utter failure Factory Reset = Utter failure Hard Reset = Utter Failure Last night before going to bed I decided I was going to try one last time to see if I can get it to work. I am posting just to get a feeling is that only my specimen issue, or does someone else have the same/similar issue. When I use the supplied Camera app, take few pictures, switch to 2x camera, maybe wander to Video and back, then suddenly (not always) when I switch to 2 x camera (or zoom) the Camera app "freezes" and stays frozen. I have got to close the camera and restart it (is starts in 1x mode and works) but then the phone is "spoiled" until I restart it - e.g. any attempt to switch to 2x gets camera app frozen. When I try to switch to Video it would say (after 5 sec hangup) that it "Cannot connect to camera - Dismiss/Try again" Also when that happens, the built-in Torch cannot be lit, after 1st attempt and failure the button in tray is greyed out and 3rd party torches say "cannot connect to camera".
