I recently purchased a Kenwood DMX7705S that has Android Auto. I had it installed through Best Buy. Bluetooth seems to work well, but I want to use apps such as Waze. I am having difficulty getting my phone connected to the device even with Android Auto. I contacted Kenwood and they said there is nothing on the Razer Phone 2 that says it isn't compatible. Is there something on the Razer Phone side that might be preventing it from syncing correctly? Have anyone here had any issues with Android Auto and their Razer Phone 2?

How cool would it be if Razer made a new headset stand but the base is a wireless charger for the Razer phone 2. That would get my headset off of my desk and also serve the purpose of charging my Razer phone 2. I think this would be a great addition to any Razer phone 2, or other wireless charging capable device owners set-up. But what do you guys think?

After the Android pie update came out I have noticed that randomly my auto rotate doesnt work. Anytime you turn the phone sideways nothing happens. If I go into a game that puts the screen in landscape it works fine. But when I get off the game and go into an app that uses both portrait and landscape the phone is now stuck in landscape. Eventually a pop up comes up saying system UI isn't responding. So I hit stop and it fixes it. Restarting, powering off or even holding the power button down to cold boot it does nothing. Only started to do this to me after the pie update

Using the Razer Phone 2 with all current updates and yea..today I noticed Razer Cortex just won't let me stay signed in for longer than a second. Can login to themes on my phone and it's fine. Soon as I go into Cortex it just signs me out automatically. Went on the PC to login and tried the logout of all devices option. Didn't work either. Anyone else having this issue?

Hi I'm a newbie here, I have the RP2 and I'm happy with it. But I have 1 complain and that's where's the HDR on NF? Out of the box I had an update to Android Pie ☺️. After I installed my things I wanted to watch NF but no Hdr. Can anyone tell me if Razer is coming with an update or is it a NF problem? Regards, Val

I tried Supershieldz brand from Amazon and it was great quality, but it covered the screen to the very edges and unfortunately my Spigen case would interfere with those edges just enough to cause a 'lift' on the protector. If the protector was just a mm shorter, it would have been perfect. Anyone else run into this? Or have a screen protector they recommend? Thanks.

I'm just curious if the first gen Razer phone is supposed to receive Android pie. Everything I read just talks about th 2nd gen phone. No love for the 1st?

Hello. I just wanted to ask if anyone knows if there is a C or CE key with the Razer Phone 2 calculator program. I see a delete key but this only deletes one entry at a time. Thanks for any information on this.

Anything I try to download from the play store stucks on 'downloading' or download pending and takes a few hours to eventually download ive tried uninstalling updates for the play store, clearing cache and data on play store, play services, download manager and even restarted my phone. I've even tried removing and re-adding my account. I've tried everything google play help says to do but none of it has worked. I read one similar post here in razer insider mentioning an app have caused this issue and has fixed it but didn't mention what app it was. Please help.

New razer phone 2 and I cannot get any of my wireless headphones to work. A set of beats headphones will connect but no sound is transmitted. My pair of Samsung don't even show up to connect. Both headphone sets are only 6 months old. Has anyone else had this problem or know what might be going on?

Razer is known for releasing Licensed Edition products from games and other partners such as Overwatch, Destiny 2, Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball FighterZ, etc. and I think it would be cool if Razer releases a Nintendo Edition of the Razer Phone. As gamers, I'm sure a lot of us grew up with Nintendo in our pockets and I think it would be great to relive that kind of feeling again. Nintendo has also been releasing some really great games for the mobile platform in the past couple of years such as: Pokémon Go, Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Dragalia Lost. In addition there are also plans to bring Mario Kart and The Legend of Zelda to the mobile platform. At this point, a collaboration between Razer and Nintendo for a licensed phone would be a match made in heaven. What do you guys think?

How come the the OIS is so bad on this phone that I have to stabilize it with the software after I film something? Is there going to be a software update for this. I just got this phone 1 week ago.

Hey all, I hope this is the right place to post, if not a little nudge in the right direction would be great. So I got the razer phone for Christmas but I've been unable to get audio to play through my car stereo. I can sync the phone to the radio, and I'm sure to receive calls and talk through the system, but it absolutely refuses to play music through the car, instead opting to use the phone speakers. I've set the Bluetooth to play audio through selected device, but that's about all I can think of. Has anyone had a similar problem? Thanks

Support doesn't answer. I think they themselves don't know. That big black square in the middle, is it a graphite sheet or is it just thermal insulation tape?

I have a razer phone 1 and recently brought a razer phone 2. I don't know is it my eyes, the tempered glass protector or the phone screen itself; when compared with the razer phone 1, there is some washout on white background on the display of razer phone 2. On screen display that are having white background (example: settings menu, app drawer etc.), it seems that the white looks quite "washout" in a sense when comparing to razer phone 1. I uploaded a screenshot but not sure is it the same when viewed on ur phone. I have no idea is this suppose to be this way or?

RP2 prior to pie ran AA just fine. After exiting my vehicle I get the AA stopping msg over and over and over. Even after restarting the phone I get the AA msg. I've reinstalled the app several times but I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

Good day, all. I'm audiophile and one of the reasons why I bought RP2 was audio quality. But I missed to check one important thing.. . Bluetooth Audio Codecs... Like I understood atm we can just get AAC Codecs available on RP2? Please share your experiences with what kind of headphones you are using and how it sounds on RP2. I'm interested to hear about wired headphones too, but just because of lack aux I'm thinking about wireless ones. Thanks in front!

Hi I just bought my new Razer Phone 2 last March here in the Philippines and was hoping that the battery life would get me through the day as I was playing Vainglory, Emergency HQ, Tacticool, Afterpulse, and other games in such extended time I have observed that the battery life is not what I was assuming to be it I already played the game for almost 4hrs only, from 100% down to 40%. How can it last a day for continued gaming? if I just played my games at high performance around 2-3hrs of playing. Is there a hardware problem with it? And I have already updated the OS on Android Pie? Hoping for a clear answer on this.

Hi! Recently my adapter along with my headphones have been stolen, so i bought and usb-c cable but it dind't work. I tested it on other phones and it worket perfectly. So... Is a Razer Phone(1) usb-c a special one? I know i can buy it from razer store, but paying 40 euro while most of them costs around 4-8 euros and waiting god know how long for it to be shipped from US is a little bit too much for a small adapter. I'll be really greatful for help, my 30 min walk to my workplace is so boring after not being able to listen to my favorite music!. :(

I've had the razer phone 1 for a while now, and as much as the theme store is updated frequently with new themes, I am still unable to find a proper dark theme. I've been using the redout theme since I've got the phone, since it's the theme that has the most dark elements in it. Nonetheless, my settings page remains mostly white, which causes many usability issues for me. Windows, Google, and others are slowly-but-surely implementing these white-on-black UIs in their apps and operating systems, as it ends up being a must have feature for night users. Does Razer have any plans to follow suit ? To create at least one high contrast / low brightness theme ? From a theming standpoint, there is no element preventing razer from creating a white-on-black theme that could apply system wide, as a bright text on dark background setup was already used by the Halloween 2018 theme (Albeit bright orange on gray) Does anyone have an alternative solution other than rooting the device and using sub
