The bundled RP2 case has no cut out for the Razer RGB logo. That really remove every incentive of buying it for the RP2.

Yeah loads if peeps already complaining about this including me from day one. There is also no passthrough to charge while you play, plus the case is proper lame so using the case daily will take a design hit which defeats the purpose...

Doed anyone know whem this new one, the kishi comes out in UK??

I don't think there's a concrete date right now. Most of these concepts from CES usually don't really for a while after.

I'm still trying to get info if the Razer Phones will even fit in it as I have my doubts looking at it.

I wanted to ask the same question....i think this is made to fit pretty much any phone as it extends....I would be interested to see if it extends enough to fit a 10 inch tablet in between,,,,,that would be nice :)

UK release date unknown atm
I'm an RP1 user and I would like to see how much I could Flimslelu DIY to make it works for me.
I really think they should support more phones from the beginning.

Bro - the fact it doesnt support the RP1 out the box is a massive let down - its their own phone ffs - its almost like a middle finger to their loyal fans
When the gbinsta latstet version coming?
MullenLive
I hope RP1 is also on the list.
I think RP1 and RP2 are quite similar. The only difference is the back camera. I'm wondering maybe it worth a try to buy it and manually cut the hole (or just ignore the back camera).
Would there be any plan to support RP1 in the future?

I think you should try it because I don't think that it's only the camera that makes the difference but if it is then you got something that is brand new

Hi Mate, the only windows device i have that recognises it via bluetooth as a controller is my Razer Blade Stealth - having said that none of the games pick it up. Moonlight game streaming does not pick it up and also i cant map all the buttons either - even if i use the SDL2 gamepad tool

When i connect it via cable nothing happens - i think this is for charging only.

If anyone else has got this to work on windows please help and detail how....many thanks

Use x360ce
It takes the junglecats keyboard/mouse inputs and wraps it to be used like an Xbox controller in Windows games.

It's a wonderful program.
I've used it for years to allow my OG Shield controller to be used in Windows games. Same concept for Junglecat.

You will need an internet to download a profile (through x360ce) for the junglecat. (probably mine), after that, you can change buttons and settings.

If you can't figure it out, I'll be glad to try and help.
it's Seriously very find but i think is not better like S20 Ultra 😵😵

If your game is 64 bit you need the 64 bit version and vice versa.
It will tell you if you have the correct version, and allow you to download it from the app.
(Place the app in the same directory as your game exe.)
I hear the newer x360ce versions have a central install, and then you pick the games and configs from inside the app.

X360ce is probably the most popular and less buggy of all these types of apps. And it's free.

You know you have done it all correctly, if when you start your game and you hear an extra chime. That's x360ce loading your controller.
Ok - so i have had my Razer Phone 2 for a year and a half now. Clearly support has ceased for this device and there are now a few 120hz devices on the market. I was going to go for the S20 until i found out the 120hz was only in FHD and not QHD...i know - idiots.

So i now own a OnePlus 8 Pro and it is absolutely amazing - big step up from the RP2 IMO - AMOLED QHD screen at 120hz is beautiful.

Now - i want to try and make this phone somehow work with the Junglecat ..

I have seen 3D copies of the case for various devices - just the plans - what is the best way to go about making/buying a case that will fit this phone and have the sliders on the side for this controller.

There is no other controller on the market that ticks every box like this does and its just frustrating it hasnt got more cases...

thanks
"A possibly strange suggestion ,and not ideal for some people......

but it MIGHT be possible to contact a maker of one of those 3d printed JUNGLECAT mods, and offet to buy them a case and pay for them to design one specific to that case.

IDK, just an outside the box thought. "

I got an email with the respnse above - hopwever it does not appear on this thread any more...

Unbelievably however I actually did exactly this yesterday before even reading this anyway - great minds think alike!!

I am still awaiting a response!

Don't want RP2. I love my green metallic RP1. But no support! Very very sad :frown_:

i like it too - but if you think about it now, it was really just a beta model - almost a prototype....even a novelty....they (wrongly or rightly) released it to test the water.

everything that annoyed me about it was fixed in the RP2

But I have no problems with him. I don’t see the point of paying for a rp2, since there are few differences between them. If a rp3 comes out, I think I can buy it.
Pale_Naga
1) I have enough brightness from rp1
2) I don't need it
3) It's good, yes, but not enough for buy new phone
4) Don't like logo ligtning. I love full covered cases, without logo.
5) For me not much different. Enough RP1 with googlecam
6) Still no reason to change old to new

But my question is why there is no support? The fact that the old phone is a beta version is not an answer

Hi Mate,

Fair enough - though suffice to say nobody technically "needs" these things - they were all technology that was available when the RP1 was released and many found it shocking they were not included with it given it was a premium phone and was being used already on many other inferior phones. Having said that, if these things are not important enough for you to upgrade then fair enough...

With regards to the lack of support, as per my original post i wholeheartedly agree with you.

Razer's support given to their customers is not very good and never has been and this is just typical if you ask me.

I think the idea is to test the water with this and then if it is popular - which i think it will be - they will release the cases for other phones and the controllers will stay the same

for those who have not got a compatable phone - there are telescopic ones below which do exactly the same job as this and are universal

For all of them, I see 2 disadvantages compared to Razer one.
1. The controller itself is large and almost can't fit into pocket. Assuming you can put the case on phone all the time, the Razer controllers are not large and could fit into pocket (or pockets). (that's how I put Switch in pockets when necessary).
2. Razer is a large brand and you can expect better support from game developers. Not all Bluetooth controllers are same and I want to take less risk. (even if you say you already have one of them and all your games support it, it wouldn't change my mind; it's just like I would my official joy-con or Nintendo certified 3rd-party, but not just and random one).

Completely agree with everything you said. I was just giving those who have not got one of the 3 supported phones other options they may not have known about...
