So mine arrived yesterday - aint had much of a chance to try em out - this busy life we lead...

however a couple of things annoying:

1) Cant charge your phone while playing games with the controllers. It strikes me that for such a heavy price tag i think the case should have included a USB C connection to the phone so that the right controller had some sort of physicall input to the phone - the benefit of this would be two-fold - a) it would be able to connect to the phone without bluetooth and b) we could charge the phone THROUGH the USB C case connection

2) The case isnt that good and doesnt serv well as an every-day case - which means it loses portability -you will have to carry the case and the 2 controllers with you if you dont want to use the case it comes with as an every-day case. One thing i noticed is the case it comes with is nowhere near as good as the carbon case i have which has a lip to protect the phone - this has no lip.

3) No hole for the RP2 chroma logo light to shine through - strikes me as an obvious oversight - cant believe they left this out

I will report back with more info the more i use it

All these 3 means it's better to DIY the case.
Hope there's official 3D model available so we could use for modification.

Got some testing to do! Arrived 2 days ahead of schedule, Nice!

Awesome, I just got the Junglecat controllers last Friday a Day ahead of Schedule also. Coming from a Guy that used a lot of Telescopic controllers. These are by far the best in terms of quality and input delay. What Razer said is true, the input delay is way better than any other bluetooth controller. I do play alot of retro games, so it's easily noticeable. Mobile Games like Modern Combat Series, these work very well as it's a supported game officially. I love the Razer Phone 2, I'm also interested in the Hammerhead wireless.

Yeah On the Case, it's a total oversight that they blocked the logo. Maybe a cost cutting measure, but odd coming from Razer. I wouldn't use the case as an every day driver, just when I want to Game. not much protection in my opinion from those cases.

Modding the case will only be able to change point 3.... maybe point 2 as well....to creat a lip.
So has someone of you who already got the Junglecat been able to test it with a RP1 ? I would love to have feedback from ppl who have tried it!
Thank you so much!

would be interesting - the case is made for RP2 however the RP1 is slightly smaller so can fit - only issue is the placement of charging port and camera lenses...

I'm think to include a OTA cable like this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07HBSQMGM in the case.

It can't be used as daily case anyway. For RP1, as I see the phone would just drop from the case when facing down. As NK.33 mentioned, it doesn't work well with RP2 either, so not a lose for RP1. Meanwhile, if it can't be used as daily case, it's not a issue for camera lenses since you don't need that when playing the game. I don't see charging port has different placement, but you can't use it while playing game anyway.
In general, no DIY is needed specifically for RP1 since RP2 case is already bad enough... I have some other issues with Junglecat so far and I may want to post that later. Hold the idea of DIY unless I could solve other issues first.

For a case DIY, I am going to use an inexpensive silicone RP2 case(Orzly Brand) and the included Samsung Note 9 as a donor. Length wise its spot on. I thought about using a TUDIA case but its a little to long to fit. I'll Dremel/cut off the sides and mod the back for the camera opening and logo cut out.

Update: I was able to get the case cut and started the cleanup/sanding process. So far the fit is good and is a pretty easy case hack to make an everyday carry case controller ready.
I posted my issues so far here.

I hope Razer could help solve them. Some of the issues I need to test more, and may contact tech support directly. However, would like to know if any other user has same issue as mine.
I want to get one. I'm a few silver short of a $10 discount code, was saving up to get ten bucks off the chroma wireless charger but this would be a much cooler accessory for my RP2. Fingers crossed that the wife approves...

Contrary to my initial post of not being able to use it as a day to day case - I have been using it as a day to day case for over a week now and its fine. Downside is there is no cut out for the logo lighting - however i mainly have this tured off these days anyway as it just drains the battery unnecessarily ...

upside is i just need to carry the 2 little controllers with me which are so nice and small and i have gaming everywhre.

I use Moonlight & Nvidia Gamestream to stream all my PC games to the phone from anywhere in the world and it works flawlessly. Playing Borderlands 3 on my RP2 - happy days!!!!
Picked one up today for a Galaxy Note 9. Pull it out of the box...it doesn't feel great...but once one of only 3 phones are in the phone specific case....and You load the controllers...and figure out that controller 1 pairs to the phone and controller 2 pairs to controller 1...so it only actually uses one bluetooth slot....so You can have bluetooth audio at the same time....it sings. Are the buttons where You want them....maybe...maybe not....but they click with precision....and You can fix it.

Do I love it. Yeah....it's OK

Why, though, isn't this thing one of those spreader units? Sure...I'm livin' the life...but this thing should have been expandable...with that little centerblock to stick in if You were use it as an external low latency BT mini controller.
So. I got Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. Will razer support more phones with this product later on? Is there any official statement to this? 😮 It would be fun if I could buy the controllers and the case separately. For example, it would be nice to buy just new compatible case when buy a new phone. I usually change my phone at least once a year, so it would be awesome, if Razer made more compatible cases for different phones.

Definitely a good shout to be able to buy tue cases separately...

Changing phone once a year these days I feel is excessive given the relative specs dont change much

If you buy an RP1 or RP2 you definitely won't need to change that often as the phones are so powerful they will never lag for years.
OK....after a day with this thing on a note 9...here are some impressions...

It's big....and turn it off when Yer not using it. Battery life may be a gazillion hours...but it will continually turn Your phone screen on...and phone life is not a gazillion hours.

It feels wonderful. The precision of the buttons. The clickiness.....the tactile feel...5 stars.

Does it work with the game You're sick of controlling by touching the screen? Could be....but is possible that it might not. Exiled Kingdom works....Driving games suddenly have become a fuckin' joy....but Yer game may not.

Why only cases for three phones? (and, Yes....I realize when snapped to the little brick it comes with it is a beautiful, compact, low latency controller...) Why? Why not a spreader model? When I get rid of this Note 9, I'm gonna' have to pay to get a 3D printed case for this. Bums me out the thought that went in to this lovely toy. I wonder who greenlit this thing.
.....oh...and if You're in to emulators...where You can map the controls....this thing is stellar....provided You have one of the three fuckin' phones. 😕
Final thoughts. If You think for one second You may be able to make this work with sumpin' other than the three phones cases it comes with....God bless You. I happen to have a Note 9....and my gaming life is pretty much cherry now. Is good.
Jeeeezus is GTA fun with this.
looks cool. What about people who want to play mobile how it was meant to be played (no controller). maybe just make some grips with a cooler for comfort and long gaming sessions.
When I have this thing out...it is amazing how many people ask me about it.

Christ. I don't know. I just don't have to play dungeon crawlers, GTA, or real driving games poorly....to the folks who want a more comfortable/acurate way to rub their fingers across the screen.....I have no idea what to tell You other than this ain't it.....but these joysticks on 70 hour games feel cool.
I got mine today! =D

It was crazy because it had said for days that it was expected next week, then I looked this morning and it had changed to "out for delivery", and below that "signature required"... Gah! So I rushed home and waited to ambush the fedex guy. I really needed to crap, but I held it until the darn truck finally showed up in the driveway an hour later. "Thank god!" I rushed out to sign and grab my prize. First time I've ever been in a bigger hurry than the person delivering a package, but I had something else I needed to deliver to the porcelain throne..

So anyways, lucky for all of you I don't have any unboxing-from-the-toilet video, but that's definitely what happened, and then I played Asphalt 8 until both my legs fell asleep and I'd maybe still be sitting there now but eventually I needed to charge the phone.

Great day guys, absolutely great day.
I have a question. I have this with one-handed controller, with it work with Razer Junglecat? I also have my phone, Samsung S10+, as well. I have disabled, so it's hard to find one-handed controller. Thanks.

Been using the JungleCat on some game streaming betas over the past few weeks. Right now hands down this controller matched up with XCloud is some serious Switch competition.
Played Forza Horizon 4, Sea of Thieves, Sniper Elite 4, Ace Combat 4 and Gears 5 in the XCloud. All the games looked stunning on the RP2 and performed with absolutely no lag on my WiFi.
