Whoa there buddy, just because we don't respond doesn't mean we don't read your suggestions and take them into consideration. So here's my obligatory reply to say that... We're watching and we're listening.

What ya expect there was such a select few games the program supported that it only catered to certain gamers and basically alinated the rest. I've owned razer mice since the first copperhead. And I just stating how I felt l felt alienated as a old school 40 + gamer. To some current triple a titles and I felt like ya only catered to a select few.
I think a couple of easy solutions would be

1. Eliminate the zsilver expiration dates. Razer products are sold everywhere. So the people participating in P2P are either folks who can't afford to buy Razer products or jerks who want the free stuff, and turn around and put it on eBay.

The expiration dates hurt the people who legitimately want Razer stuff, but can't just go out and get it. They're much more likely to have time constraints on gaming or have underpowered hardware that makes gaming a pain. Letting people keep their zsilver around would make it much easier to save up for things for people who really want things but don't have a ton of time to play.

2. Adjust the zsilver prices. As far as I can tell, most complaints came from raising prices without notice. Any company is going to catch bad feedback from something like that. It's frankly bad business. But anyway, raising the prices, again, more negatively affects P2P's legit users. Especially because zsilver expires.

3. Track it. There has to be a way, because everything goes through our Razer IDs. So once an account has a shipped product through P2P, make it so that account has to have registered products to get more through P2P. More barriers to things cut way down on abuse.
Oh, come on! My birthday is 3 days after that :mad_::big_grin_:
It's so sad 😞
RIP zSilver income
so sad.
i need my blackwidow v2 :frown_:
Just came back home and saw this devastating news on the P2P program being suspended.

Very disappointed as I thought I could have saved to get at least the Razer Tiamat Chroma V2 but just saw that it was also gone from the reward catalog. Now I have no idea what I should redeem hahaha.

But then again, super grateful that Razer may be the only company that has gone so far as to reward gamers for gaming.

I will be honest that I do think nowadays without this P2P program running with Cortex, people might have doubts using this program as most gaming PCs nowadays are powerful enough to run it without the Game booster that the Cortex offers.

I do hope that this P2P program does continue!!! Perhaps there should be a voting system! If the ZGold can be used for many other things than that would not be a problem but mostly the Zgold can only be used for some games etc. If it could be used to purchase from Ebay, amazon ETC I would probably be broke, with a lot of Zsilver hahahaha.
Is it safe to say that there will still be monthly changes to the zSilver catalog, since zSilver is still a thing and only Paid to Play is suspended?
omg. i wonder who the hell would complain something that is free for them... now the genuine gamers who want to collect the zsilver gets the collateral damage.
😕 we hope the system resumes working, it was a good thing
I am sad and a bit salty. I wanted the Razer Ergonomic Keyboard Rest (Standard Fit) and just when I had enough zsilver you made it more expensive. Now that im finally close to it again you are shutting down the program 😞
This comes as a suprice to me.

Kinda have a feel that this is due to their choice of making the earning limited to a few games a month..?
Which limited earnings to those who had or played said games.

I really hope they find a way to keep this amazing feature, I would be so sad to lose it completely.
Thanks for the program I was able to redeem a Blackwidow chroma keyboard sith zsilver. It really sucks that negativity brought the end to a good rewards program, hopefully its replacement will be just as great.
first of all i want to thank razer for this amazing oppertunity we had specialy gamers who r on a budget such as college students who cant afford gear . the program was far from flawless and razer does understand that and the fact they suspending it (for the moment hopefuly) is them acknowledging that and trying their best to reward us. negativity wont ever go away some people will always complain (not all complaints are false tho) so lets keep our faith in the razer team and wait for them to amaze us yet once again like they did when they first announced the p2p program
My guess is they were losing too much money. I was close to getting the reward that I wanted too.
Really sad that this is going and was shocked when I first saw the announcement because I love the system so much. I hope that it will one day be reintroduced
I find it hard to understand what was negative about it, just seeing the notification "earning zSilver" when starting a game is a positive feedback.
Is there a way to include the community on the rework or at least point out the issues that occured during the program run?

I sincerely hope you will reintroduce it, it has/d potential especially since you started hooking it up to other services.
Sad.

I hope they can at least quickly find a zSilver-alternative for the people that can't afford to buy Razer gear straight out of their pocket.

Because the roughly 16,000 zSilver a year from daily login and forum activity isn't going to get people anywhere if they want to redeem it for a product. Especially not with the expiration date added to the zSilver.

And getting zSilver most reliably from buying things with zGold completely misses the point of "giving people that can't afford it a chance at getting Razer gear" - not to mention that it's not worth the money, as you might as well buy a product directly, given the zSilver prices.

One thing I always love is when Insider is mentioned on one of Razers social platforms, Gives me a ton more posts to respond too when I get bored 😛.

• Using Razer zGold to pay for your gaming purchases
• Being an active contributor on Razer Insider
• Logging in daily on Razer Cortex
• Syncing your Steam account with Cortex: Deals
• Subscribing to Cortex: Deals newsletters and more to be introduced soon

i hope these are just temporary measures?

1) using real money for zGold. isnt P2P all about helping gamers to get the razer product they can't afford? now we have to fork out money.

2) active contributor as in posting regularly to get the zsilver? from what i understand, it's like 50zsilver or each time you hit a certain amount of post or likes. when you consider the items cost like 100k-200k it just looks depressing

3) login daily. this amounts to 40 a day. Again, the items are 100-200k range like the bw2. even the basics ones are like 30-50k. And worse still, if you happen to miss a day of not logging in, it becomes 10zsilver

4)Syncing to cortex - deals. isnt this a one time thing?

5) sub to cortex- another one time thingy?

They did say on the ZVault site they plan to add more ways to earn ZSilver in the future, and I feel like there would be something put in place of paid to play sometime anyways, so otherwise this is kind of temporary.

They might get rid of the expiration period at some point, but it is hard to say really.

i think most of the complaints were about prices being raised without prior notice. they weren't "this program sucks you should shut it down". you guys are completely overreacting to a handful of anonymous online complaints

are you guys still going to update the catalog? i've been collecting points since the beginning and i was hoping to buy some other razer gear (regular death stalker, regular black widow, etc)

They are going to keep updating the catalog as said in the ZVault post (And likely the FAQ too), so you would be good. It would not start expiring until Oct. 31. 2017 anyways, and in the time from now to then something will likely take its place in some way or another.
Wow, these are sad new.. Always like to get some reward after long gaming sessions..
What idiot complains about getting free stuff for doing stuff they enjoy?! Please Razer don't punish us for the silly muppets out there!!!!! 😞
Really hope the program would return as soon as possible 🙂

An unfortunate and not anymore surprising turn of events.
My thanks and appreciation to Razer staff and management for how good the programs have been so far. Definitely increased my brand loyalty from where it was after buying multiple mice from you over the years prior.

"Congrats" to the ridiculously negative, greedy, and often downright moronic detractors who continue to actively make things worse, or abuse the system for profit. Hopefully that portion of users doesn't win out in the end, this time.

Looking forward to the system's evolution, and to the company stocks going public worldwide!
And i was getting so close to those sweet Kraken v2
OMG i just started late december last year collecting zSilver, and now already gg? really hurt 😞. In future i hope u can put some razer shirt to list of redeem. hehe
