With an increasing amount of negative feedback on the Paid to Play program

Lol. You're just loosing a lot of money with this program. It's not a shame to admit it.
But anyway, it was a very cool program, which gave me my Chroma Mug. Thank you Razer for this experience, it was awesome.
Really confused why people would hate it.

Playing games while giving you free goodies. Why not?

Sorry to say this but the only reason I see this getting suspended is because Razer has been losing quite a huge amount of money by giving so many gadgets out.
I talked about a lot of improvements that You (Razer) can do to improve the system but overall I have been ignored. I talked about that Razer should look into tracking users who have Synapse installed so they can put a lowered ZSilver cap for people who own certain Razer gear. I also talked about that Razer should expand on a single list of games instead of community driven results because usually PUBG is always on the list however alot of us probably play something different like Overwatch or League Of Legends.

Going back to tracking users, Razer central application is the main application that interlinks with Razer Synapse 3.0 so why don't you release drivers for older devices (for Synapse 3.0 compat) then what you can do from there is that you can make people link their Razer peripherals and devices to their Razer ID. Then Razer can track how many Razer peripherals you have and what you have then possibly lower the ZSilver Cap depending on how many Razer devices you own. This could also be a good/bad way to brag on the forums on what you have because all the peripherals you use are linked to your Razer ID.

I don't know, this is just my idea to make things better for people who do not own a collection of Razer peripherals like me and if this does go away for a long time then I hope people got what they wanted with the ZSilver redemption.

Not trying to be rude or anything, but how about bringing back the Paid to play program and perhaps block the trolls who complain about it? As our savior Min said: they don't get anything from rewarding us for playing games. While I'm still skeptical that that's completely true, it is certainly possible. It's basically charity if that's the case. Why complain about it?

But how to weed out the trolls and still benefit from positive feedback. Sure some trolls or people being jerks for the heck of it can be painfully obvious. However the are many people who bring very valuable points, concerns, and even solutions that go about it with a gruff (often mistaken as troll-like) attitude. 'eliminating' the trolls may help one problem, but allow for a different inflow of another problem.

In the first place, they shouldn't be rude and should talk like educated and civilized people. On the side note, I can't imagine a helpful but troll-like comment/feedback.

Have you tried putting your graphics settings to low and maybe closing other programs as you play?

An unfortunate and not anymore surprising turn of events.
My thanks and appreciation to Razer staff and management for how good the programs have been so far. Definitely increased my brand loyalty from where it was after buying multiple mice from you over the years prior.

"Congrats" to the ridiculously negative, greedy, and often downright moronic detractors who continue to actively make things worse, or abuse the system for profit. Hopefully that portion of users doesn't win out in the end, this time.

Looking forward to the system's evolution, and to the company stocks going public worldwide!

Maybe its a PR reason. BTW I'm also broke but I saved up for a balckwidow keyboard after about a year.

When I'm through with my constant expenses, perhaps I'll do something similar.

You have a point there. The suspension of the program is still sad though. 😭
In the Cortex apps, is League of Legends included?

The Paid to Play program has been suspended for about a month now.

I just learned about this a while ago, wondering why I was not receiving zsilver for Hearthstone. Now I'm like, how do I get them gud stuff now.

You can still get zSilver from logging in daily in Razer Cortex.
U gotta chill out dude. I believe they might be looking at reworking the whole program. Might come back even better who knows? If u are not willing to wait you could join the raffle I think. Get a chance to score some sick loot. All the best bro

40 a day is not gonna get me far, especially if the monthly cycling expires my zsilver more than I can produce. That's like saying go mine some bitcoin, even though your electricity bill consumes more money than you can make.

I agree with you but trust me, all we can do is wait for any updates about the paid to play program. I also want zSilver as much as you do.

what's e use of logging daily for the 40 when there's yearly limit

You would never reach any of the limits if logging in each day for 40 zSilver were the only way you are generating it.

Bitauren007
you figured gamers have already done it from day one?!?!

You would think so, right? However, there are still people who are new to the system signing up so there will always be a steady stream of users who don't know about it just, which is why it's included in every post regarding ways to obtain zSilver.

Forunately, all zSilver is valid for one year from when it was earned. So, there's still a fair time to spend it all. However, I do agree that I think if our ways to earn have been throttled then I don't think there should be an expiration date until it is determined what the new primary zSilver earner will be. Or, if it's staying like it is then just remove the expiration date entirely, but that's just my opinion. 🙂
It's really sad. When I found out about razer zsilver, I was finishing my master's thesis, so I couldn't play anyway. I started playing one month ago, and I was really excited to have an oportunity to add razer gear to my razer blade. I was dreaming on the razer levianthan mini, a keyboard, a wireless mouse.
Now that's just dreams.
Please, don't cancel it. Just find a way to keep people from selling it.
Paid to play isn't just a way to keep people engaje with their games. For me, it's like the time I "waste" having fun, has some return, and that's truly amazing.

1) make sure those in this P2P has at least 1 razer product registered to cortex. i think is totally reasonable to have one razer product if you are gamer/razer hardcore fan.

synapse you mean or at warranty... agree with this, but maybe make it more exclusive... min 3 product registered, to prevent those idiot who only make the program as their way to make money....

Bitauren007

2) Rewards those who love and buy your products. those starting out still gets 500zsilver a day up to a limit of 900z a day. the more products you have the more you earn daily to 900z limit a day

and the one who buy the products also got some zsilver when they registered the warranty or using synapse 3....

Bitauren007

3)make the super popular titles permanent. there's no point putting them in the voting list when they will just win every single time. titles like dota2, LOL, cs go, pubg are highly popular in twitch n other streaming sites. putting them permanent will please a large number of gamers(review them after 3-6mths and see what other title to add in or remove). and then give the lesser titles a chance and put them in the voting list and give them a higher number of zsilver earned a minute than the bigger titles so people will give it a try

the idea from the vote is to make us try new game that released outside the popular one.... if they make it permanent then there is no way that we gonna try those new game.... i think these new game have business relation with razer, as marketing way to introduce new game....

Bitauren007

4) remove the expiry date. alot of them are working adults who might not have 5hrs a day to reach the product they want. it's disheartening to see that you have almost reach the amount only for the points to expire when you are busy with some project or not in town to login

this I agree 100%.... better then expiry date maybe it more better to set limit of zsilver earning.... like max earning is 300k, if you reach that you cannot earn more.... this make us must spend that zsilver....

Bitauren007

5) instant ban them from cortex forever if they post threats or abuse the system which leads me to the 1st point. these people will think twice when their product serial is tied to the cortex, this will leave them out of the goodies razer come out with in the future. valve recently came out with this 6mths ban for dota 2 if the player abuses too much. i think these trolls become much nicer now

you mean remove their razer id??? makes them cannot register their warranty?? it's difficult to apply, cause cortex is linked with the razer id, you cannot login to cortex without razer id.... it's better make it exclusive using the amount product that we have.... so if they doesn't have razer product they can't join the program...

Bitauren007

6) not sure if this is workable but store pickups for the items u want redeem?

this I agree 100%..... especially for those who lives beyond razer map....

We created Paid to Play as an opportunity for gamers to get rewarded, just by gaming. Since the program’s launch, over 1B zSilver has been exchanged and over 35,000 rewards redeemed by our fans.

We’re always listening to the community, and everyone’s feedback is important to us. With an increasing amount of negative feedback on the Paid to Play program, we’re going to be taking a hard look into the overall program and mechanics to do right for you and all the gamers who participated. While we take time to develop ways to make it rewarding and beneficial for all, we will suspend the Paid to Play program, effective March 1, 2018. In the event that we are unable to provide a satisfactory solution, the program will be suspended indefinitely.

Making Razer zSilver the rewards credits for gamers has always been our goal, and we’re constantly working on ways to introduce more rewards to earn zSilver. With over 50 rewards on the Razer zSilver catalog, kindly note that rewards will always be on a first-come, first-served, while stocks last basis.

If you’re a step away from redeeming your next Razer reward, here are other ways to earn zSilver:

• Using Razer zGold to pay for your gaming purchases
• Being an active contributor on Razer Insider
• Logging in daily on Razer Cortex
• Syncing your Steam account with Cortex: Deals
• Subscribing to Cortex: Deals newsletters and more to be introduced soon

We thank you for supporting Paid to Play, and welcome all feedback and suggestions on this thread. Should you have any other questions about Paid to Play, please write in to Razer Support or refer to our FAQs here.

what do you mean on this line? "• Being an active contributor on Razer Insider"?? does that mean like the trophies part of razer insider?

Yes, and that is like 70zsilver total per week, add this to razer cortex daily and you still cant get anything before your silver start to expire :smile_:

Hello,
It has been a little over five months now since the Razer P2P has been suspended. Is there any new information that you can update us with, even if it is minor information?

RIght now as things stand, you might have more luck if you try and chat up @Dekades instead. 🙂
