The new cortex app is just...



Razer Cortex is glitching out, every time I open it it just does the windows failed to launch and says "This file is corrupted and will not launch." What should I do?


Sorry to hear that. Maybe that happens because one of these.

1. The installation of Cortex beta was interrupted cause installer failed to extract.
2. Some installation files of Cortex beta was corrupted.
3. The installer was corrupted.(This one happens extremely low.)
4. Installation was successed, but files corrupted after closing installer.(I think Cortex beta installer is fine, but some programs got this issue. Don't make the conclusion with other cases.)

In my opinion, you should reinstall Cortex beta. Download Cortex from website and upgrade it to beta.

I cannot find Microsoft OneDrive process or service to kill file syncing while gaming. I can only find Google drive. Could you help me ?

Thank you for sharing your inquiry here. Razer Cortex has added Microsoft OneDrive to our white list to avoid the potential risk of damaging your files. That is to say, Razer Cortex will not stop the syncing process when boosting. If you want to stop sync when playing games, please check this article and stop the process for some hours.

Not support Windows 10 Xbox game bar

Pubg and Valorant! In both games the fps overlay doing fine before i installed the cortex beta ;-)

I'm loving the Beta, but here's a few things I'd like to see:

1. Allow Cortex to remember how I resized it last.

As it is, Cortex resets to some pre-programmed window proportions every time I launch it. I resize the window to show all the content I want to see (launcher games, wishlist, etc.), only to have it reset the next day/hour/etc. that I relaunch the program. Every other Windows program, and Windows Explorer, remembers how I re-sized the window.

2. Get Epic Games full integration.

The launcher is a main attraction for me. Other unified launchers, like GOG Galaxy have full Epic Games integration. As it is right now, Cortex will automatically recognize Epic games that are installed, but it doesn't know anything about uninstalled Epic games.

3. Be the first to get full integration for other minor game launchers.

I like that Cortex connects to the most popular platforms, excluding Epic. I'd love to see it connect to less popular platforms, like Rockstar or Arc or Green Man Gaming, and so on.

4. Make sure that when I launch a game with Cortex, my profiles for all my Razer devices switch to that game.

This may not be a Cortex thing, but often when I launch a game that has a profile attached through Synapse, the game will launch but the profile will not switch. This seems like a core thing that Cortex/Synapse should do. And if you have the opportunity, get Synapse to switch back to a default or user-chosen profile once a game is closed.

5. Make the Deals tab easier to customize.

There's a lot of useful information there, but it's not easy for me to access it. Let me put the categories I care about most at the top.

6. Update the prices more frequently.

I always check Cortex for prices before I buy. I often find that retailers have updated their prices long before Cortex. I'd love to rely on Cortex exclusively for game buying, but I can't do that unless I can trust that Cortex is 100% accurate.

I love the direction that Razer is taking Cortex. I think that users will love the utility that it offers, and Razer will benefit from Cortex as a sales feature and from the information that Cortex gathers about its' users. Keep up the good work!

I already have it installed. So far, there was problems trying to load Raid: Shadow Legends to play and I get an error. So, I had to load the game from the desktop app of Plarium Play. But remember folks, Cortex is in Beta.

WebView2 is a necessary component to run Razer Cortex 10, if it is not installed, Razer Cortex will not launch properly. If you don't want to use WebView2, you have to roll back to Razer Cortex 9. However, we do not suggest doing.

After i give admin rights the cortex.exe and all the other cortex service's i found in the service-control-panel of win11 the FPS Panel runs fine at Valorant, but nothingto see in pubg!

PLS change or add a description at the update window.
In hurry i click update at the lower cortex option...

after reboot i got the old cortex again.
I installed the Beta again and now the autostart of cortex and synaps is cracked. reinstall dont helps
so i think i need to do a clean reinstall ;-(
[indent]mysterious is that sub services of cortex will be started becaus Central says it runs but i cant open it.
when i close and open cortex again via the taskbar menu of Central it starts
synaps autostart i totaly bricked! but i can start it also via Central taskbar[/indent]

Well, sometimes I think about same opinion you posted.
I need to boost my PC with cortex when I render some tasks, but when the HUD cames out, the render speed goes quite low.

I try Booter prime for valorant but the app opened windows "Updating game setting" and 30 minutes later the app was not complete

I think so, I've refreshed the application many times now and I've never seen the servers come up in the public recommended discord server list. If you could enable visibility for the servers it would be greatly appreciated 🙂

The new UI looks pretty neat, but I am missing the playtime that used to be on the game that you select.
