Is it battery powered or do you need a long cable?

Looks like there's a looooooooong USB cable that you have to plug in.

I hope it is not battery powered because lithium isn't known for its "Cushiness".

No it's not battery powered. Info from FAQ: The Razer Head Cushion Chroma needs a constant power source such as a portable charger.

I've been looking for an item like this! Looks extremely comfortable and matches the rgb aesthetic that Razer has.

I assume then if you want to control the RGB via synapse, you'd have to plug it in directly into the PC somehow. Here's an image I found on the product page:

Cable is too short. You can plug it directly to some powerbank. Connection to PC is via Bluetooth.

Will give you +10 DEX due to the lights! Nice design though.

Ok but how can you look at it when it's behind your head while you're sitting? It looks pretty but only for those looking at your chair.

If it's thick/dense enough you shouldn't feel the battery. You probably won't be pressing your head against it hard enough to feel it. It does need a power bank though, and does look like it has a pouch for it on the rear.
