Broken hinge

Bought these Blackshark V2 pro (2023) headphones in May and they already broke. I imagine the warranty doesn't cover it but i'm hoping it does. 

Is it possible to order new hinges? Couldn't find any spareparts for the model.

Exact same thing happened to me on the right side (which appears to be a common issue). Really disappointed in the simple design flaws in the high end headsets these days. First the cap covering the hinge just fell off while I was just sitting there. Then when I went to take it off the one night the plastic holding it together just broke apart completely, almost like it disintegrated, and now the earmuff is detached completely, and the headset is completely useless. Such a shame because I was really happy with the purchase. 

The same thing happened to me and the response from Razer support was “I forwarded the case to our warranty team but failed to proceed with warranty claims as after careful inspection and investigation they deemed the damage as customer-induced”.  how can that be when so many others are having the same damage???

 

Same thing has also happened to me. I’m sending them in after I told them I refuse to accept that this is a fault of my own. I did nothing to the headset that would cause this to fail. And clearly I am not the only one. I think they should recall this product.

Same exact thing happened to me on both sides after I’ve used it perfectly and have never done anything risky with them. I still want to use the headset and am willing to literally pay to simply receive the parts, I’ll put it together myself for gods sake. I’m just stuck on infinite customer service, wish me luck.

I managed to get an RMA after not accepting their original answer that this is expected cosmetic damage from normal tear and wear. Imagine giving that answer to someone who treated their headphones well, and only two months in they’re literally falling apart? Absolutely ridiculous. This will be the last time I buy a Razer product.

Same thing happened to me and just trying to reaching out to support has been a nightmare. 

Glad you managed to get your RMA soldier plz pray for us.  

 

Same here guys, I was taking them off my head and suddenly the right hinge broke, I've only had them since October 2023, I contacted support so I hope they can help me

Same story here, RMA initiated, looks like it’s not covered by the warranty but they still submitted it for review ( fingers crossed) there is something wrong with these hinges :(

Well the answer from Razer support was almost immediate : “This is entirely your fault but we can still give you a 10$ discount on your next pruchase”

what a shame Razer ! 

Anyone else got a different reply?

Do not take any discounts or anything, that will count as them saying you got something from them for it.

 

They need to stop staying it is us that is breaking them when it is clear that is a manufacturing issues or a QC issue.

 

Same exact issue. I just attempted to wear it normally as usual and it snapped.
