After updating synapse, there are problems with enabling thx spatial audio. When I click on thx spatial audio or stereo, the sound does not change.

I am so pissed! i cant use THX Audio anymore!!! I have Win 11 with a Blackshark V2 Pro and since today, it just doesnt work! the SOUND ENHANCMENT IS ENABLED but it doesnt do anything. Even the profile switching methods are not working! I want from Razer an activation Code for the THX APP atleast temporarly so i can have my THX Sound back or i will change device to a non RAZER !!!

Looks like they’re all dead - only bots are responding from time to time on email, nvm, they are asking you to reinstall or to send your logs - no real answers - looks like an apartment company not a real one.

My interactions with Razer regarding the sound quality issues and the removal of Spatial audio modes have been frustrating. The responses from their support seem automated, offering repetitive solutions like reinstalling or sending logs, without addressing the core problem.
It feels like a quantum leap backward, trying to convince users that a missing feature is still somehow present and functioning well. It's perplexing.
It's apparent that Razer may underestimate the awareness of its user base. In 2023, consumers are more educated and discerning. Comparisons to a bygone era of corporate dominance, as depicted in William Gibson's novels, feel out of touch. We're not in a time where corporations can unilaterally dictate terms to consumers.
Razer needs to be mindful of potential legal implications as well. Presenting a fully-featured software and then removing a key element (Spatial audio modes) while asking users to pay for it could be a breach of contractual agreements. Many users chose Razer products based on specific features like Spatial audio, and this sudden change is causing dissatisfaction.
Wishing Razer success in their new direction, but also gearing up for potential battles, perhaps even in the legal arena if these issues persist.

Hello everyone. After recent update my BlackShark v2 Pro has absolutely no sound. Even sound test in Windows 10 was not able to make any sound, showing only error message. I tried “repairing” Razer Synapse, fully reinstalling and creating new fresh configuration profiles, but still no luck.
What seems to help for me was uninstalling headphones from Windows device manager and then detecting devices again to make BlackShark v2 showing again on list of devices. Somehow I was not able to uninstall them at first try, so I restart system and try uninstalling headphones again. Not sure if this will help anyone but I’m posting this just in case. 😁
I disabled the THX in sound settings, just to see what would happen as the update had broke THX anyway. Totally broke the sound, no sound at all. Could not un-disable THX, it was now gone as a sound device. Luckily I’m big on backups and did a restore, back to normal sound, but with Razer updates turned off.
Still no word from Razer on a real fix for the update fault that broke the THX to begin with. I’m good with my restore, so not a priority, but it must be a pain for others still waiting an answer.
you wouldn't happen to have the old synapse installer somewhere where others could get it and "fix”this ridiculous issue that way?

I just got my own Blackshark V2 and sure enough, thx spatial audio doesn’t work. Tried firmware update, windows sound troubleshoot, clean reinstall, windows update, and sure enought STILL nothing worked. The website’s Live Chat and Submit a Report sections also don’t work either. I must say I’m pretty disappointed and want a solution ASAP

Blackshark v2 still does not work correctly. Sounds are bad, mic sound is very bad like 5$ headphone. Last update received 20231116.
Deleted and reinstalled synapse and drivers nothing changed.

Well, I see am not alone, it’s really annoying. Sound quality dropped down, some notifications are cutted or do not play overall - on Discord for example I can’t hear DMs or server pings, the way I hear people or videos is awful as well. Do we have any solution or “we have to wait”? Also where did all my configs go, they doesn’t even matter, nothing works xd

The update did not solve all the problems, windows still muffles the bass, as well as the volume of the headphones became 2 times higher. It is impossible to listen to music.
I noticed that spatial sound works on blackshark v2 if you enable it on the DEMO tab in razer synapse. The difference when switching is noticeable.
OK so today is 11/16/2023 and razor release another update, and my razor, Kraken tournament, edition headphones still do not work the audio cuts in and then it cuts out. When I try to play a song on YouTube it plays for a second and then instantly pauses and starts buffering. Great job razer. I hope you love fucking people shit up, definitely will not be purchasing another product legit it’s been close to week to two weeks and I’m done waiting legit you post these pitiful updates that literally fixed 2 to 3 peoples fucking headphones and then the rest of us are shit out of luck. If you’re gonna update drivers maybe you should test it before you do something with it and post it to the public because this is getting ridiculous

Mine got better, but if I sellect “Razer Audio Controller - Game” there is no sound. I have to sellect “Raze Audio Controller - Chat”.
I am using Kraken Tournament Edition.
Never mind, the volume knob was in 0. Now I can hear the difference and the sound is good.
Razer Kraken Kitty - Newest Patch fixed the light.. Still no THX sound.. just stereo.

Hi, ok this last update I think it the sound is normal again for black shark v2 pro. try settings bellow for stereo mode (I use it for music and general gaming) way better before. now I’m testing but in youtube compared to broken update is way better.
I know you requested settings for FPS games, but just incase anyone else wanted good music settings I found these on here awhile back that work great for music:
