Razer Blade Pro 2020 can't update Nvidia drivers

Can't update it and tech support has no clue how to get this fixed. It is going to be escalated. Let's see how long it takes to get this resolved.

My bad I'm also on 1.06 the latest one and yes mines in always on 120hz. Forgot to add that I don't have any stock ram or ssd in my Razer laptop

The only thing I change/added was a

I don't think this is the reason why people have problems.

That could be true but I find it weird that I use to have the black screen problem all the time. Now I don't get it anymore regardless if I upgrade my drivers/windows or not.

It has to do with hybernation, laptop goes into hybernation but the screen does not work.
My question to you is, did you have the problem at some point? and if you did, what solved it for you?
Yes I had this problem at some point. I believe it was about 4-6 drivers back but since then no issues with black screens. The only issues I have now is when the laptop boot up Sometimes the laptop will make macro freezes and will stay like that until I reboot it. This also happens when I try to record using GeForce Experience.

Yes, also my Synapse will crash immidietly after a game and I need to wait for it to respond.

Hi everyone! I've seen that there are users with Blade 17 2020 claiming that the issue was resolved after installing the available update for BIOS and NVIDIA drivers, while others remain unresolved. I've reported it to our Support Team.

For those users who still have an issue with the Blade 17 2020, please send me a PM or reply to this post so I can send you a message directly.
I still have the problem and I believe most people still do. So far I recall only ONE user claiming that their problems have been resolved, but this user is also claiming to have replaced both SSD's and RAM, meaning there was a fresh install involved and likely other internal modifications that void Warranty. I'll send you a PM.

Follow the black screen problem, everything is updated bios, Windows, Synapse etc.
It doesn't work and it never worked. Almost a year now. Amazing.

I bought a Blade Pro 17" 4k in December 2020 and discovered this thread. I decided to still go ahead and file a Razer support ticket. They had me do all the normal updates (already done) and also asked for a video showing the problem, which is that whenever I select dedicated GPU mode the screen goes blank as soon as I restart and login to Windows. Optimus mode works fine. Anyway, this was the final response from support:

"Upon checking in our system, We are still having some problems with our NVIDIA drivers, We are still waiting for any updates to resolve the concern you're having. We can only advise you to not choose any dedicated GPU so that you won't be having these types of issues."

Option 1) Run NOW and get a refund while you can.
Option 2) Use an external monitor if you are playing fps games, we've been having this issue since Summer 2020 and still nothing. I doubt anything will change..
@Razer.SpeedCr0ss I totally understand you're literally just the messenger here. But given how long this issue has dragged out, and how some people have the issues while some don't, can we get an actual statement from Razer about this situation? What the underlying problem might be? Why a fix is taking so long?

I read in another thread on Razer Inside, that another person also has the same problem as all of us, but even more serious than him, he has the Razer Blade 15 "2021".
This means that the problem is bigger and more serious.
We need you to solve this in the most professional way.
