Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro: some keys are sometines unregistered

OldBurgundysmartlink496

Hello everyone,

I recently acquired a Razer Deathstalker V2 Pro keyboard, and I've been experiencing an issue for some time now. I recently started playing Doom Eternal again, and it was the first game I played with this keyboard. That's when a bug appeared: sometimes, my key presses are not registered, especially on the WASD side (ZQSD because I am French). The key that bugs most often is the "Forward" key (Z), probably because it's the one I use the most. So sometimes I press it, and it doesn't register. You can imagine my frustration in this type of game when the character stops in the middle of the action...

When I press it a second time, it works.

I thought it might be related to the game. So I launched DOOM II out of nostalgia, and the problem is also present, so it's clearly related to the keyboard since I didn't have this issue with my old membrane keyboard. The problem is quite random. Sometimes it happens several times in a short period, and other times I’m fine for several minutes. I’m writing this message because, in just five minutes, it happened to me about ten times on DOOM II.

For your information, my keyboard is connected via Wi-Fi, and the dongle is located 30 centimeters away.

If you could help me, that would be great. Thank you!

EDIT : This has happened to me several times in Cyberpunk right now, specifically with the "Move Right" key (D).

Hi everyone, I’m posting this in a few different threads of similar nature in the hoping of reaching more people.

Over the last year of owning a DSv2Pro, I’ve had this issue only a few times up to firmware v1.04, but it got really bad with v1.05.

Long story short, I’ve had a couple of unrelated issues with my computer and decided to enable Secure Boot (Win11, AM5), since I’ve done so and playing the same game in the same way, I haven’t had the issue in about an hour now.

So please follow your motherboard manufacturer’s instructions to enable Secure Boot, if it isn’t already, and all the best :)
