razer kraken x mic not working on laptop

i recently bought the razer kraken x headset and i plugged it in my laptop with the 3/5mm cable it came with. i could only hear the audio with the headset but the mic never gets recognized and only records the mic which is built on the laptop pls help

    Does the problem persist regardless of whether you’re using the splitter or not? Try the steps here for further isolation. If that didn’t help, PM me the serial number so I can verify its model and check my resources for other steps to help you further. Thanks!
