Hi everyone ! I'd like to create a Windows shortcut for my Basilik mouse with Synapse, and I'd like this shortcut to execute "Alt Space U" when I click on a mouse button (to minimize the active window to the taskbar). The thing is, it seems that I can only assign a series of 2 keyboard keys, not 3, to a mouse button :frown_: Any idea how I could work around that ? Thanks a lot
I have a Razer Naga X. It's worked previously, but now neither Synapse 2 or 3 will detect it. I can't find anywhere to reinstall my mouse drivers that doesn't direct me to use Synapse. I've reinstalled Synapse 3 and rebooted my PC, but I'm not having any luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Startrek online and Neverwinter online from cryptic games share the same profile on Synapse. I made separate profiles for them but when I go to play Neverwinter Synapse thinks it is Startrek online and swaps over. It’s a nuisance because I have had to make a keyset just for Neverwinter on my Startrek profile. I did make sure to bind the separate profiles to each game, and they do come up on the games list without needing to do a manual browse for the .exe. I love the Tartarus pro, it’s made gaming more fun on so many levels. So when a problem like this comes up it can be a bit frustrating. I think Synapse is detecting them as the same game as they have the same architecture and developer studio. So maybe Sneky Snek can save the day again with an update! Thanks Razer you guys rock!
Hello! Used it for several years without problems. Suddenly one day, right during a conversation, the microphone stopped working.1. On another computer with these headphones, the microphone works fine. Other microphones work fine on my computer2. I reset the settings and did everything according to the instructions again3. Deleted several times, reinstalled the program4. Uninstalled the drivers several times and installed them5. I deleted all information about connecting these headphones and their drivers from the computer in order to connect them like the first time without automatic driver installationMy mistake was not making a system restore point before installing the latest update of Synapse 3.Now I see only the only way out - reinstalling Windows. But a lot of important programs removed due to reinstallation are not worth the Razer's functionality. I'm paying for a device that should work without problems, and not try to force me to take drastic measures. In fact, my best option
First & foremost, let me say, this is my 2nd Naga mouse. I owned the Naga 2014 because of the many buttons I could use to program for hotkeys with Autodesk Maya. Please understand, I primarily use this to work with content creation software that includes; Autodesk Maya, Unity3d, Visual Studio & Photoshop. When the 1st Naga started dying, I decided to get the Naga Trinity over other comparable mouse from Corsair or Logitech; because from past experience, the Synapse software included with the original Naga was responsive, out of the box. IT WORKED REALLY WELL for my needs. I switch between software applications mentioned above, FREQUENTLY. I had no issues switching back & forth. That was the biggest deciding factor in me getting the latest Naga. This has not been my experience with Synapse 3. Instead, I bought an $80 mouse that came with software that is, to this day, is still IN BETA. Out the box, mouse profile switching was iffy at best. Eventual updates made this issue better. Bu
I migrated this weekend from a Razer Blade 15 Base to Advanced. My wife inherited my base model 2019 w/ 2060 and 9750h. One thing I Noticed upon setting my new model up is that after installing Synapse I am missing various modes (i.e. creator, gaming, balanced, and custom). I appear to only have balanced and custom. This is on a clean install of Windows using the latest version avail via the media creator, and installing synapse immediately. Any thoughts here? I read of others experiencing performance hits with profiles even when maxing out performance in custom on CPU/GPU.
I’ve been a razer faithful since 2007-8. Been loving the products, the software, you name it. Never minded the high prices cause for a long time I considered it quality. But since getting my kraken kitty headset 2 years ago I’ve had nothing but trouble. The audio is crackling and dropping in and out. Never had this issue with headphones before. Well turns out (to the surprise of no one) that synapse is to blame. The audio stutters in both old and new games? Originates from synapse and chroma. So I had to disable a lot of features I actually wanted. That were the reason I got a chroma keyboard. Things like hooking into my games and setting up rgb maps and reactions for various games. I was bummed about that but figured okay, I’ll live without it, just having the backlight is fine. But for the past few months the audio drops in and out, I have to reconnect my headphones every few minutes to get the sound back. The connectors are clean, it’s a modern computer, and the issue goes away to 9
The problem is that I am using it connected to 2.4ghz. When I want to play any game, the keyboard disconnects and comes back instantly. When I turn off Synaps 3 running, this problem goes away. I haven't been able to use the keyboard I bought properly for 3 months. Because of this problem, I sent it to warranty, they sent me a new keyboard and the problem is the same. What a disgrace! Can authorized friends please help me understand this situation?
Some Macros include commands which are too small and together have too large total amount, to be set as separate Macros to be inserted as Macro Groups . Each such Macro requires a way to reference which action is represented by certain group of commands, but currently, the interface doesn't even show what number from start of the Macro, any command is .
Hi, i'd like to know if i can toggle on/off the macros crated by synapse via some kind of script language (maybe python), so i can send the message to the synapse driver and not directly to windows (normally using pyautogui or any other automation macro). The application i'm automating blocks these win32api calls, but the synapse macro is accepted. after i use the win32api calls, the default action is send or in most cases they are blocked. can i communicate to the synapse like i was the mouse itself (mimic) and call the macro correctly? any ideas?
I used to have a macro for my mamba te on synapse 2. I recently got myself the mamba wireless wich downloaded synapse 3. The macro I used on the synapse 2 wont work for me on the 3.0... is there some way i can go back to using synapse 2? even if I plug in the te it just registers on synapse 3...
Do we have to create an account AND install synapse AND turn my keyboard over to type the serial to register so I can finally change the fricking static color? Is there any another way? I am hopeful. there must be another way because even $15 chinese ebay keyboards allow that.
I am using a Razer Naga mouse and as of May 1st the Synapse does not register it, but my color settings are still working, I just cant use any of my macros or open anything in the synapse. I tend to swap between macros 5-10 times in a day for certain profiles, and it was working until it just suddenly wasn't (never closed synapse). I have tried rebooting, changing the USB port, and uninstalling than reinstalling Synapse. Nothing works. Windows 10 home edition The menu it is stuck on. https://imgur.com/72SrORi
Oh Razer, your software engineers have gone mad. I've had it with your driver software. Synapse for my BlackWidow Ultimate which immediately breaks the keyboard (looking at you, doubletaps...) was bad enough. I figured it couldn't get worse than that. Then I bought your Lancehead mouse and instantly regretted it the moment I saw what a nightmare your driver package for this thing is compared to my trusty old Lachesis. Nearly a 500mb download. For a mouse driver. As for the interface? Convoluted is an understatement when it comes to the design of this software. My first impression when I opened that driver suite was, verbatim - "Lordy Jesus, Razer got bought by Creative circa 2001!" But the real fun started when I checked my task manager. First, a list of background processes: Firewall - ~25mb A/V - ~80mb GPU Driver - ~30mb Printer services - ~15mb RAID software - ~35mb Razer mouse? 200mb. What. The. F@#$?!?! And would my mouse driver integrate with my admittedly older keyboard
I have a Huntsman Elite keyboard which has a specific profile that's controlled via the Chroma Studio app. I also have an Emote Display that can only be controlled via the Streamer Companion app. Activating either application overrides the other and removes it's control of ALL Razer devices. I want the Chroma on my keyboard keys to react to my inputs in specific ways, which can only be done with Chroma Studio controlling it. As soon as I activate the Streamer Companion app, the keyboard Chroma stops responding and remains static. The Chroma Studio app is grayed out and states that the "Streamer Companion app is currently controlling your devices." If I venture into the Streamer Companion app, I haven't selected my keyboard to be used with ANY of it's functions whatsoever and have no way of returning it's control over to Chroma Studio without forcing Chroma Studio to take control over all of my devices, rendering the Emote Display unusable. Is this an issue anyone else is having an
