Is there a link to a previous version of Razer Synapse after all the issues with Version 20231107 (3.8.1031.110202)?
All THX enabled headsets have issues since the last update and cleaning the drivers and running a fresh install do not solve the issues.
My Kraken V3 Pro for example sounds bad when THX is enabled and even worse if you have a game running with THX profiles like competitive or environmental. Stereo is OK - I think.

Encountering the same problem, Razer has sent out many updates that make the saved eq settings reset but never a one like this the “ THX Spatial Audio “ from the playback devices has disappeared which made the sound relaxing and chill now its like wearing the worst headphones i have ever owned, its bad FIX IT RAZER.
I already contacted support, they said they are trying to fix. no way to get the old version i tried.

I just changed my PC yesterday and went on to install Synapse and not THX. On the Old one THX is still there, given that I did not update Synapse there!
We should be able to download previous versions of the Drivers: Even Apple let’s you do that :).

Same problem. If I want THX I need to download additional sowtfare and Razer asking to pay $20 for it (not going to happen). Probably this is the last Razer product I buy

Still with the problem, I’m using the Kraken Ultimate
i buy it because my father work as an acoustics engineer , he makes a comparison between different headset output and different headset driver sounds along with enhancements like DTS sound, Dolby Atoms for his work, but the sound for me was way better with Thx spatial-synapse sound device, the new one THX spatial sound output was so bad and annoying, i hope they fix it fast

i bought the app once i got the headset Kraken tournament edition but i disable the app as the sound was not good as thx spatial synapse sound device, it was way better than the output if i change my sound device to thx spatial i hope they fix this problem soon.

I did not use this Razer program before since with sypnase 3 it worked perfectly... the problem came from its update, since then I have been using that app and in trial mode without purchasing it... In the Support case now they send me reply e-mails that I have not repied to them and they are going to close the case, eventhough I have replied twice.

You can download the thx spatial audio app, it is a paid application but it has a 15-day free trial, with this application the thx spatial option will appear again in the Windows speaker and once you go to Right click on the speaker / sounds / it will appear again in the thx sypnase set so you can also configure 7.1
I have it like this and although I don't have an LED signal on my Kraken Tournament controller it works for me since this app brings the trial version of the helicopters that are no longer available in sypnase in addition to the point in the middle with the speakers around it that also removed from sypnase.

I understand your good intentions but don’t try and bypass these issues since it may give devs a more laid back approach to fix bugs.

There are thousands of people with this problem, don't confuse yourself.... I give an option for people who were just as frustrated as me and use headphones a lot.... They don't have to relax because they sell their peripherals to a high price, in fact, they should have fixed their problem days ago because the longer people wait, the more they will go to other brands and for the high price they sell their products, I don't know why you have to wait so long... I used to have 3 audio outputs: chat, game and thx. Now thx isn’t there anymore and when i choose the thx option in the app, my friends on discord sound terrible (i have selected chat output for discord)

You no longer need a “THX Spatial Audio” Device - you simply select your standard audio device like “Kraken V3 Pro” and switch between THX or stereo in Synapse 3. The Driver taking care of is an “Audio enhancement” in the Windows settings. The driver is broken, though and gives you terrible sound. Here is a screenshot from Windows 11:
I ended up disabling the Audio enhancements for the time being, thus having plain stereo which will bypass THX, EQ, Bass boost, etc. on the Razer Synapse but you still can enable Haptics from it. But I think it reverts back on reboot.
By disabling the Audio Enhancer the Nari Ultimate started working again but sadly no bass like its in mono or something weird af maybe when razer will get a mass charge for delivering faulty devices maybe when people start asking refunds they might fix it! :D
Update has been released but i think the audio output from thx spatial-synapse device was better, for listening to music but it’s better than THX spatial audio device

it seems to work but if i set discord audio on chat speakers and set the game speakers as default the audio from discord still comes THXed

I wouldn’t call it working. THX is useless as games with true THX support sound horrible and with THX enabled it still sounds off but since we cannot compare it to previously working version you will not know for sure. For me Stereo still sounds better than the current THX implementation.
It looks like the THX Spatial Audio Driver is not installed for your device - Do you find something like that in “Installed apps”?
...but on the other hand you can be happy as THX is broken as said before.
What about the mic settings? My friends on Discord says that I sound terrible, and that didn’t happen before the last update, any ideas how to fix?
