my motherboard (razer edition X570 Asrock Taichi) and the whole system, with the latest Synapse 3 update is no longer detected by the Chroma studio program. Everything was working perfectly before being updated. I also tried the beta version. But it's even worse

what I can't understand is why there is a new version of the software, completely inefficient to the detriment of the old one that worked perfectly. If a program doesn't work it shouldn't be made available. What's the point of downloading the latest version? to have all the devices turned off.

Does anyone have the Snap Tap in this Synapse version?

Nope.  I have the beta on my gaming laptop because my Huntsman V3 pro TKL is on my desktop.  I have Basilisk mice on both and they finally added the scroll mode toggle as a bindable option to the Basilisk so I thought I could finally switch over to the beta but as soon as I had it installed I realized it was missing snap tap and continuous rapid trigger settings for the v3.  That is a deal breaker so my desktop is still on Synapse 3.  I think at this point I’ll just wait for the official release because its annoying to keep swapping versions and I don't want to dig through comments to see what does or doesn’t work.

For updating mice, from my understanding when it comes to “firmware,” it has to be performed using an alternatively linked .exe that performs an update. However, for the regular Synapse 3, I’ve seen updates being performed stating “Updating Viper V3 Pro.” Does Synapse 3 actually perform an update on peripherals? Or is it just updating Synapse 3 software for Viper V3 Pro?

For products already existing on The New Synapse, does new Synapse also receive those updates/changes simultaneously or is it kind of delayed?

Heads up, new version is out.

Support for macOS would be awesome. I enjoy using my Razer gear when working on my Mac. Dont ignore Macs because they are no gaming rigs. Thanks

Heads up, new version is out.

is there a change log anywhere, also what is broken?

Nope.

Starting to think that the 2024 Blade 14 is just abandoned right out of the gate, and we’re never getting added… and/or this is vapourware that’ll forever be half complete and in beta…

Wish there were a Synapse alternative like G-Helper for Armoury Crate...

4.0.86.109

Unsure when it was last updated, but my Left handed Naga mouse has been hitching for the last week or so.

I use 2 profiles that switch automatically depending on what program is selected. One for the program, and one for everything else. When I click between and the “switch” takes place the mouse for the next 5 seconds hitches loosing about half of its inputs.

This severely annoys me and hinders my productivity. I use the mouse professionally and like the functionality of not having to switch profiles manually. Please resolve this issue before I toss the mouse through a window.

Any idea when the Blade 16 2024 will be added?

No one knows.

Came back for another look after 8 months, but it sounds like very little has changed. The known issues post still lists core functionality that is broken/missing.

Again: list of supported devices was updated, but the software was not. How does this work anyway?

It doesn’t.

So I saw that the tartarus pro is supported on that list. I just bought it to replace orbweaver and old school synapse. And what do you know it, the tile pops up and it spins forever. Anyone with a tart pro have any luck? I’m about to return it.

Try an upgrade from Synapse 3.

Try an upgrade from Synapse 3.

That worked. Thanks!

Blade 14 2024? No? Progress? No?

Is it like, one singular guy that’s working on this? Apparently this has been in beta for ages, and progress is dirt slow?

Maybe someone needs to create a GHelper equivalent to Synapse...

Happy to help.

New version is up: 4.0.343 → 4.0.362

can i install both Synapse?

This new one is better but it seems it makes my PC more unstable. obviously i don’t know how,. i suppose because it uses things like Visual C++ library or something else that is used from most of the softwares.

i don’t want to uninstall stable synapse every time i want to test the new one...is it possible?

All the bugs I reported two versions ago are still present. Don’t bother.

You can’t. You cannot have two different software controlling the same hardware.

Any plans for linux and macos support?
