Hi all, I've noticed some backlight bleed on my new Razer Blade 15 2020 Base Edition. It's not awful but I can notice it. Was wondering - what is acceptable backlight bleed on today's IPS panels, especially for more expensive laptops like the Blade 15? I have attached a photo which is obviously not going to be 100% life-like but does represent the bleed (in the green circle). Do you think a replacement would have exactly the same kind of bleed issues if not worse? Thanks

I purchased the 15" standard razer laptop in November 2020 and I am finding that when the battery if fully charged and playing a game like Rocket League, the battery will only last 90 minutes. My understanding is that the battery should last 5-6 hours based on everything I read about this gaming laptop. Is there an issue with my battery?

Hi all - Happy holidays! I just got a Razer Huntsman Elite for Christmas. I'm not a big gamer but this thing is sweet. Here is my issue. I set up several Global shortcuts (FN+1, FN+2... FN+8) to cycle through different lighting for my keyboard. When my computer (Lenovo E14 running Windows 10) wakes from sleep, the shortcuts do not register and I have to go into Synapse to manually change the setting. I've tried hardquitting Synapse and reopening the app. But the issue still happens. Also, even doing the FN+F11/F12 to dim/brighten the keyboard does not register. But quitting Synapse fixes this. If I reboot my computer, the shortcuts usually work again. But this is super annoying as you can imagine. Thanks for the help. Curious if anyone else has had this issue.

Hi guys, I'm trying my new laptop: Blade 15 (2020) 144hz GTX 1660Ti (Bios v.1.0.4). I'm using it plugged, with "better battery" mode and only skype opened and this is sufficient to make it warm enough to have my wrists sweat. If I manually turn on the fans (that are off if let in auto mode) the situation gets better, but the minimum rpm (4300) is loud enough to make uncomfortable to be in a public place. Is there a way to better tune fans speed or anyway to reduce heating? I already looked into under-volting but it was locked since version 1.0.3 of the firmware and only reducing the maximum processor state seems to be insufficient. I'll be grateful for every suggestion!

Hi, I requested a recovery image for my razer blade advanced 2019 and downloaded it on my PC. Can you please help me how to get these files (it´s a .zip file already decompressed -not sure if thats the correct word) on a usb-stick so it becomes bootable. Do i need a program for that? Thank you!

A few weeks ago i bought the razer blade base (gtx1660) and after a few days i returned it because two stuck pixels appeared on the screen. I then bought the razer blade base again (RTX2060). I used it for two weeks now and again: two stuck pixels appeared next to each other. They are barely visible tough (only on a white screen) and just look like a speck of dust. I am now unsure on what to do ..., - is a stuck pixel manually repairable ? - I already tried out some softwares (like Jscreenfix) , but not longer than an hour, ... should i try for longer ? - how common is this issue ? Am i just being unlucky ? Hope you guys can help me with my questions....

I am making this thread just to express my anger, frustration, and disappointment with Razer. I talked with customer support and they initially told me that when I purchase my Razer Blade Stealth 13 I will receive it (in Vienna, Austria) with a US-keyboard layout. Here is the screenshot of our chat US-layout-only.PNG Then 2 days later(amazing delivery BTW) my laptop came from Hong Kong, and when I opened it it was with the wrong DE-layout keyboard. I requested a return and now I am waiting for my money. In the meantime, I was talking with maybe 5-6 other customer support agents (big chaos there with their sales support some promised me they will try to do all the best to give me a laptop with the right keyboard and so on) and at the end, they told me that "We would like to inform you that we cannot send out or change the keyboard layout of your device. Also, we would like to inform you that the keyboard layout will vary on what region/country you're located." I am just amazed by how

I recently noticed other Laptop manufacturers have started allowing a degree of undervolting on their 10th Gen Intel equipped systems. HP and Eluktronics have opened up users to undervolt their systems, for which these Thin and Light chassis would benefit from Thermally. I hope Razer follows the suit to allow a safe margin of undervolt to their systems, to allow us to squeeze more from our units without the added heat, or just make them run a bit quieter.

I am aware of a UK retailer mislabelling the 144hz LCD screen 15.6 inch 2020 base model Razer as an OLED model. Don't think it was malicious intent; they just were careless. Not sure how many other retailers are making the same mistake. So I've bought the 15.6 inch 'OLED' model, but how can I make sure it is NOT the 144Hz LCD model? Is the OLED screen labelled as 'OLED' on the product itself? Or is there an 'About This PC' menu you can bring up that shows all the internal specs including the screen type? Many thanks.

Issues are as above in the title. In Synapse 3/ Profiles/ Devices, I click the plus symbol on the Profiles section; it turns green for 1 second and then nothing. Hi, I just got my new Blade 15 144hz RTX2060 Base Model. I am wondering, if it is possible to swap the cooling system with the vapor chamber cooling system from the advanced model? Does anyone tried that? Is it even possible so from the size and screw placement?

I bought this laptop thinking it would be configure with the refresh version of the RTX 2060 that is now capable of drawing 115W. I cross checked the device ID to see if it was the refreshed 2060 and it appears that it is, the device ID starts with: 10DE 1F15 The model of my 15 inch base is: RZ09-0328X where X is 6 The BIOS is now version: 1.06 Synapse version: 3.5.1130.111812 The GPU Chip Power Draw that I see however never exceed 90W and the PerfCap Reason listed in GPU-Z says Pwr which means the GPU is receiving limited power. Synapse performance mode was set to Gaming when I checked these values. Aren't we leaving performance on the table by not letting the GPU get the full 115W it can now do? Can I set this up to 115W somewhere?

I just purchased a 2020 razer blade 15 advanced 4K 2080 max Q and I was setting it up, installing Nvidia drivers and noticed that in the nvidia control panel only show 3D settings, also find out that the laptop was running under Intel integrated graphic and I tried a lot and couldn’t change the Nvidia a the only graphics card for the laptop if I go to device management in display adapter shows both graphics Intel & Nvidia, I try to deseable intel graphic to see if it will select nvidia, and it didn’t work the it select window graphic How I select Nvidia as the only graphic ?

Hey all, will be getting my first razerblade laptop this Christmas, in particular the razerblade 15 base model with gtx2060. I can see that it’s possible to upgrade the ram but is it possible to upgrade the gpu?

on the 2020 17pro is there a way to setup the 2 nvme drives as a single raid bootable volume I cant find anything in the bios to enable it thanks

Hi recently purchased a new Razer Core X and RTX3070 Asus KO Gaming, new to egpu concept was trying out. I plugged everything in, no display on the monitor at all. RTX3070 not detected by device manager, fan spinning, no output (monitor shows no hdmi / DP displays) unable to install nvidia graphic because GPU not detected. any advise to troubleshoot Update: Found the problem was my laptop thunderbolt issue. Motherboard issue from lenovo, fixed upon changing of motherboard. Immediately detect the graphic card installing the driver. Thanks a lot for all the help so far!

Hey everyone, I am looking into buying either a Razer Book 13 or a Razer Blade Stealth. I need a powerful and portable laptop for DJ'ing and producing music using FL Studio. I am unsure on which one of these laptops would be better for performing these tasks. Does anyone have any guidance they could give this computer newbie? :)

Hii, I'm thinking of buying the razer core x chroma from Amazon US site, and I was wondering if the voltage supports 220v? i know that the US is 110v, but most laptop chargers are support 110-240v, wanted to know if the Core Chroma is the same don't want to buy, ship it, and then realize I can't use it.

Hello, I noticed some models of Razer Blade Stealth 13 are currently out of stock on the eu online store and on some resellers (amazon uk, de, etc). I was specially interested on the models with the 10th generation intel chip because they were a bit cheaper (the ones with 11th gen are out of my reach). My main question here is, will you stop selling the "older" models with the 10th generation intel chip and only sell the new ones with 11th generation chip or will you continue making and selling the "old" ones as well? In other words, should I wait for the ones with the 10th generation to come back? If yes, can you confirm if there is any estimate for when they will available again? (the ones that are out of stock) Thank you for your attention.

I am currently on 1.03 bios, is it worth it to go to 1.04? I previously had a bsod issue going from 1.01 to 1.03 and do not feeling like reliving a bricked laptop again. Has anyone out there done a successful update from 1.03 to 1.04?
