Hello i recently bought a used razerblade pro 17 2017 and im running into a problem with the performance it has a gtx 1060 6gb when im in game it has been running both the 1060 and the integrated igpu at the same time instead of just the 1060, i do have the power brick pluged in but this is not the factory brick. everything is showing up as it should in device manager i have a clean install of windows 10 latest drivers are updated ect i did try and force the laptop to only use the gtx 1060 and not the igpu through NVIDIA control panel. my question is, is it normal to have the igpu try and run in tandem with the dedicated 1060 ? im only getting 58ish fps in apex legends the screen is 1080p so nothing crazy hard for a gtx 1060 to run, so is there anything im missing ? i have ordered a factory power brick as i think the one that came with it is only like 60watts witch i know is not enough for this laptop

Hey all, I recently purchased a Razer Blade 2020 with the RTX 2060. My experience with the machine itself was almost perfect. The only complain that it isn't sitting flat on any desk thats why I got a new unit and it was the same. Do you have the same experience or do I have only bad luck getting a fully functional blade? Hello All, New to the razer family. I just bought 2020 model razer pro 17. I always wanted one. First impression wasn't so good. The laptop speakers were making an odd noise and couldn't be resolved so I got replacement from amazon. Second one came in last week everything was perfect at first. Everything working fine till yesterday, The fan started making a high pitch sound. https://streamable.com/s3rg21 I went thru support and they are asking me to send it in of course. Sadly I cannot because i am travelling to Europe next week. No way repair would make it in time. And they do not send nor sell the fans have to go thru servicing for just fan simple fan replacement. My question is are the fans sold online? Are they generic? Could not find much information on it.

Hello Girls and Guys, When I use the Visualizer, then my Keyboard can have more than one colors. But I have the Base model and normally it doesn't work. When I use Chroma Studio, then I can only select the whole Keyboard. Can someone me help? Sorry for my bad english.:big_grin_: Bluestobe44

I was wondering if anyone knew what wifi card I would need from Intel to update the existing Wireless-AC 9560 card to Wifi 6 (ax)? I've seen the AX200 and AX201 but cannot work out which one of the two would work with this system. Any ideas? Thanks,

I have a RBS 15 mid base 2019, and for a couple of months the laptop doesn't go to sleep when i closed the lid, All the power settings are set to sleep but still am facing the same issue, Even in the power-plan closing lid action has been set to sleep. I have to press the power button to make it sleep and then close the lid. P.S. The laptop is still under warranty.

Hello fellow gamers, I have battled with this issue for awhile now, and turn to you guys for help and feedback on my issue: I have a Razer Core V1 connected to my 2017 Blade Stealth with external peripherals. My Core tends to have a habit to disconnect, reboot, and maybe reconnect to my laptop and my peripherals. I thought this was a software issue, but I have uninstalled and reinstalled all the latest drivers and such for my Core and Stealth and this problem continues to happen. Seeing how others have fixed their issue with their Cores, I have tried switching my network from 2.4 GHz to 5 GHz and my problem still exists. I have also tried attempting to "bend" the metal corner of the rail with the sensors towards the mesh of the Core, which also did not work well, but maybe that's because I bent it the wrong direction. I am running out of ideas to fix this connection issue between my Core and laptop and would love to hear your feedback. Thanks! :D

Hello guys, recently I've been having issues with the flickering/random black screen problems. I've realized that it occurs when the laptop wakes up from sleep. People have been saying that setting the display to 60 Hz will fix it. Even though it is a temporary solution. It does not fix the general problem. Please someone...anyone gets this through razer customer service as I had to return my 2080maxq due to the same issue as back then I didn't know it was a software problem.

Hello, I have the Razer Blade 15 Advanced (Early 2019) I've enjoyed playing on it from the past 8 months but from the last 1 month, all of the games have started to lag like crazy. They run great for a couple of minutes and once the laptop heats, it starts to lag. I checked my cpu and gpu temperatures and it seems like overheating is causing the lag. The issue persists on both gaming and balanced mode. I've attached the pictures of temps etc when idle and when under stress. I used watch dogs 2 for the temps under stress. I was reading about undervolting on many forums but I am not sure if I should do it or not. Specs: i7-8750H 32GB RAM Samsung 970 EVO 1TB RTX 2080 Max-Q Note: I upgraded the RAM and SSD 9 months when I got the laptop so that is not causing this issue I think. If anyone has any input, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hi! I noticed that my Razer Blade 15 Advance Model RTX 2060 (2019) is bulking beside the trackpad. I think its because of the battery. Can i still use my laptop if i remove the battery? If so, how do i remove the battery? Where can i also get the battery replaced? Thanks :)

All of a sudden my laptop stopped booting. Instead it's now showing the "Choose your keyboard layout" screen and there seems to be no way to exit this bloody loop. I tried each and every option in this mode but nothing helped, I just return to the starting point. I haven't installed any new software or plugged any new hardware. I haven't received any error messages or missed/unfinished any update. I'm stuck. Any ideas what the hell is wrong with this laptop and how to get fix it? P.S. Fortunately I have Linux installed as the second OS so I hope I can continue using this... thing at least. Damn the day when I bought it though.

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a new gaming laptop as my old Alienware is slowly dying. I am looking for the absolute best gaming laptop I can get, but I need some help with this. I'm finding this website a bit difficult to navigate. When I ordered my Alienware years ago they had a chat line where a sales rep would put together a package for you but this site doesn't have that and I'm afraid I'll miss something and make a mistake. When I say I'm looking for the absolute best gaming laptop money can buy, I do mean it. I want top of the line everything with the largest screen possible. If someone could give me some pointers, or if Razer has people who post on these forums, I would greatly appreciate some help.

Hey, folks, I'm getting back into Razer on Wednesday when my new system shows up. I ordered the base model with 1660 ti and 9750h. Usually, my first task after updating windows and drivers on a new laptop is to install Throttlestop and undervolt, but I have been hearing that Razer's machines come undervolted from the factory. Is this true for the 9750h? Can I skip the UV this time around? Thanks!

Hi. Title pretty much says all, my laptop is having massive frame rate drops for seconds at a time, about every minute or so. It happens in and out of games, but mostly in EFT. R6 gets them too, but not as much. Help!

To Razer I have a 2015 full hd razer and I love the lettering or the alphabets on the keyboard. It has this not serious look and the new keyboards are all generic like all the other laptops. You go through so much trouble to create a unique laptop only to open it and see a keyboard lettering like every other laptop out there Please go back to the old lettering you had in the 2015 model

Hello, does anyone know if there is a way of adjusting settings for the Front LED Power Indicator? Personally, I'd prefer it if it didn't 'breath' or pulse on and off all the time when it's sleeping or when the display is off. Is it possible to access these settings? Thanks

Is there a way to swap the Fn and Ctrl keys? For example, on my ThinkPad there is a BIOS option to swap these keys. I did not see this feature in the Razer BIOS but I am wondering if there is some other way. On every laptop I own the Fn key is the first key on outside and the Ctrl key is on the inside, except this laptop. Not a huge deal but I definitely get confused whenever I use it and would like to try to make them all be uniform in this way. Thanks in advance for any info.

Hi, I have an issue with the LOD settings when the mouse is connected to a PC without the driver installed. So as I am currently working from home, I have my Razer connected to an USB switch. On my personal PC I have Razer Synapse installed and adjusted LOD to work better on my cloth pad. The problem accurs when I switch to my office laptop. Everything works fine until the mouse falls into sleep mode. After waking up it stutters and I noticed that LOD is different, what is the reason for stuttering/freezing. So I have to switch back to my personal PC, after couple seconds the LOD adjusts itself again and I can switch back to office laptop again. Is there any way to fix it? BR

Hey, I put something over in the Support area but haven't gotten a reply so I thought I would ask here. So I am going to add a secondary SSD to my Pro. I notice that the motherboard, in the area of the second SSD slot, currently has like a black foam pad in it. Not like a dummy card, just a black foam pad. When I've watched videos of upgrading the SSD, nobody seems to have that pad there or even mention it. Is it a thermal pad I should try to squish with the new SSD, or do I peel it off when I put the new SSD in? I'm sorry if this is a really stupid, basic question but I can't seem to find an answer. I caved! and got the new 120hz stealth! What you might need to know about the new stealth when upgrading to a new SSD! (unless you clone your old ssd) Touch pad and wireless card will not be working as you will need to manually install those and let intel driver support and windows 10 do the rest! The 512GB SSD storage is fine, but I don't see any information about any supplementary hard drive. 512GB is ok, but can be limiting considering that a single game can be as big as 100GB.
