Does anyone know how to enable displayport with alternate mode on thunderbolt 3?
Hi I got my Blade 15 Base 2020 ver today with RTX2070. I found the Display is a BOE panel. I wonder if Razer has rolled all the new released blade to BOE panels? or it is just me with this bad luck? If I exchange, am I able to get a LG panel?
Recently I bought my first RB15 Base and I have some question about system fan first of all I'm not from english country, It could be some error with my English.. 1. When I started to using it with power plugged, the fan being louder than unplugged, I didn't do anything on laptop It's on idle condition. I hope it could be silenced like unplugged. any idea? 2. After finish playing game like PUBG/COD:WZ the fan is still running crazy about 10 minutes and it goes quieter than before, but it is also loud.. (Synapse setting : balance / fan : auto) I think it's abnormal 3. is any USB powered device (mouse / keyboard / etc..) effect on fan control? 4. Can I figure it out why fan running like crazy and reason of running? how can I know current RPM of my fan? I undervolted my CPU -0.100 to -0.140 If anyone give a comments, It could be helpful.. Thank you for reading
My Razer supposedly has a RTX 2060 Max-Q, but I've checked on the device manager that says it's a "NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060", how can I verify if the model has a Max-Q?
Due to careless operation, the system could not be restored and the technical staff could not be contacted for many days, so I would like to ask for help here. I hope the technical staff can give me a recovery stick. My email: qq934083@gmail.com asks the technical staff to contact me. Thank you very much.
Using: a mid-2019 Razer Blade Pro 15 RTX 2080 Max-Q and 240 Hz screen 32 GB Kingston HyperX DDR4-1666 RAM w/ XMP1 Profile 2 TB Samsung Evo Plus m.2 SSD I've run every permutation of Balanced Mode, Performance Mode (Max/Min CPU slider and Max/Min GPU) through Geekbench 5, and what I've found is this: CPU: Single Core: 1206-1207 across every permutation Multicore: Min 4470, Balanced 5447, Max 6340 GPU: Min Slider: 95368 Balanced Mode: 91380 Max Slider: 100759 Summary: Singe-core CPU performance literally doesn't change Multicore performance can go up by 1.4x GPU performance decreases by 5% when the slider is set from maximum to minimum, and decreases by 9% when set to Balanced So my question is - what's exactly the point of the GPU slider? I measured only very minor changes in heat and performance across the board. As for the CPU - this I get, as it's the primary driver of heat in this laptop (the GPU runs surprisingly cool even when maxed out), but why does the slider only effect
There's quite a far bit of criticism from some reviewers that the stealth 13 MX150 is a pricey machine that is unable to game on. It was clearly a sad and unjustified comparison as the razer 13 with mx150 wasn't being positioned exactly as a powerhouse gaming machine in the 1st place. To illustrate why the razer stealth 13 MX150 is a hybrid of productivity & moderate gaming machine, i had did several tweaks to bring the best out of this little power-machine. It has amazing battery life due to the low power MX150 GPU and supporting nvidia optimus. Check out the battery life calculation from a modded slim windows 10. The best tweak i had was 20 hours 38 mins and with 15-20% screen brightness on idle. My usual battery life for surfing net + productivity usage is 10+ hours on average. Some reviewers say MX150 cannot game at all.? With adequate undervolting , overclocking and configuring it to run at full CPU & GPU performance - i'm getting close to 800 score in heavens 4
My laptop's battery is swelling. Since this is my only personal computer, I am unable to keep working on my thesis during COVID-19( I can't do this in an internet cafe/ library). Is that available to unplug the battery to continue my thesis during the wait of repair requirement?

Hi all, After reading up on some of the other posts regarding XMP options, I am wanting to make sure that the Crucial Ballistix DDR4-3200 memory chips are compatible with the 2019 models. Will the XMP option become visible once I inset the memory or do I need to take additional action? I am currently using BIOS version 1.02. Paul
I think I have isolated the problem but now I just want to know what my options are. I have used my blade stealth (2017) for 3 years now and thankfully this is my first problem. Windows started crashing citing an unexpected_store_error, and when I get stuck in the bootloader it does not detect the nvme device. This leads me to believe I need to replace the SSD, will support be of any help to me? When I finally found the phone number the operator just states a high call volume and to try again another time. My product only had a 2 year warranty, product no: RZ09-01963E32 I don't have a problem buying and replacing the SSD myself, but I would be pretty pissed if the issue was something deeper. Anybody have a similar experience?
Wondering if anyone has had any experience of running this kind of set-up? I have a Razer Blade 15 (mid 2019) 2070 MQ. I also have a Predator x34 Ultrawide. Has anyone any experience of adding a Core (X,V2 etc) with this kind of set-up and experienced any benefits in their ability to up the quality of gaming while maintaing high frame rates? I'm pretty happy at the moment with the set-up at the moment with OK frame rates and quality levels dropped to normal type ranges on the monitor, but wondering if there is any benefit to doing this and say adding a higher end desktop card (RTX 2080 etc)? All thoughts welcome!
I tried a few and they looked half-baked and suspect. They don't even show everything. On my Mac I have a ton of options of high quality programs that show me everything from the SSD temps to CPU, GPU, GPU/CPU proximity, battery, etc. Is there anything for the Razer laptops? I have a 2020 base model 15".
I really want to know what is causing this problem. I thought Razer customer might know better than Razer Support, so my problem is that My new Razer Blade 15 2019 v with RTX 2080 Max-q advanced model. My "B" key is lights up different when I set my keyboard to white and yellow. Basically other keys lights up fine but only B key lights up purple when it white and orange when it's yellow. And all of the key works fine and I just noticed after two months of uses. I am not sure if this is synapse 3 software problem or is it my hardware issue?? Because I used my chroma studio and tested my B key to check it whether it's capable of displaying the every color. Please let me know if you have any idea

Hey all, So I've spent a good few days sweeping the Insider Forum and also various Reddit / NotebookReview threads from people attempting to upgrade their RAM in Blade 15 / 17 Advanced and Pros....... I've got a 15 Advanced 2019 - I'm at the point of splashing out for some new RAM and really do want to make use of the high advertised frequencies. Has anyone had any success upgrading to a higher frequency RAM using the XMP profiles? There's plenty of negative stories out there with laptops bricked at first boot once the higher frequency profiles have been chosen, people having invested in 3200mhz RAM to be stuck at stock 2666mhz. It would be good to gather and record some feedback from a few people to get an idea of success vs problems rates! So please post below, what spec / make / model / RAM / speed / voltage / XMP profile experience you've had!
Hi there, I keep seeing mixed signals on a few things I want to know about the Razer Blade 15 Base Model (2020), specifically the RTX 2070 MaxQ 4k OLED model. For a while, the Razer website was plugging it as an advanced model, but since the recent website revamp, this model has been relegated to the base model side. I'm basically just wondering if the 2070 4k model has touchscreen and power delivery (charging the laptop) from the Thunderbolt 3 port like the website said it did before the website revamp or if that no longer exists. Could anyone who has this model let me know? Thanks!
Hi all! I just bought a second monitor for my Blade 2019, so now I have one 4k monitor and another at 2560x1440. I'd like to use both with my Razer Blade. I bought this hub which has two USB ports and converts it to USB-C, but it's pretty spotty. It works with the Chromebook I use for work, but on the Blade it rarely works with two monitors unless I restart, and most of the time it'll only support one (or zero) monitors. Does anyone have a particular hub that would support dual monitors on the Blade? It seems like the USB-C port can only connect to the integrated GPU instead of the Nvidia card from what I was reading on the forums. What's the best way to set it up, USB C or not?
When will the Razer Raptor be available outside the NA region? I am in Asia and Oceania, I want this monitor to complete my Razer gaming set up but it's a pretty problematic thing to ship a monitor from NA to Australia or Asia.
Hi there, I tried a Razer Blade 14 (i7 7700HQ + GTX1060) for to use within a dual monitor setup. First i used a Lenovo ThinkPad Thunderbolt 3 Dock Gen 2 - 2 monitors at same time with 4k/60Hz are working fine. When using a CalDigit TS3 plus docking station, only 1 monitor at a time is working. Anyone else here is using a CalDigit TS3 plus and got it to work with dual monitor? Any help onhow to get this setup working is welcome. Best regards, cairon
Is the storage on the RTX 2060 version of the RB15 2020 Base Edition upgradeable? It doesn't say it is on the Razer website but people do in reviews so I'm confused.
How do adjust color setting when plugged into a PS4. Have an ornata keyboard
Hello, Is it possible to use an 2TB M.2 SATA 3 SSD as a secondary games drive or is it PCIe only? Feel like it's just unnecessary going with an 2TB NVME as there are other limiting factors than the drive such as cpu. Do I need to consider something when choosing a SSD or will it work with a normal M.2 Sata SSD? Specs as it stands: Blade Pro 17(2020) i7-10875H, 16GB DDR4 2933MHz, RTX 2070Max-Q, 512GB SSD
Hi i am a user that bought a razer blade 17(2019). Can you charge it with a samsung super fast charger(45W) USB-C? I tried it but doesn't work and just want to know if you can charge it or not with USB-C.
Hi everyone. I recently have been shopping around for a powerful computer. I am attending college, planning on majoring in aeronautical engineering and will be a powerful, yet maneuverable laptop that will be able to run CAD, simulations and CAM software. Preferably I would also like a laptop that allows for touch screen and the use of a stylus for taking notes. Through research, the Razer Blade 15 Studio Edition seem more than capable of handling all the software and programs, however i was curious to know if it has a touch screen, or can be used with a stylus?
