There's also one important thing to highlight, the 2020 Blade 15 Advanced actually has a tiny little horizontal latch at the middle back of the cover. When putting back the cover, make sure that the latch is inside the chassis before putting on the screws. Or it'll protrude out and risk bending the area.

I inadvertently bent the cover and the latch without noticing it until a week later while upgrading the laptop...

For RAZER insiders and non-members who are wanting to upgrade the RAM specs on your RAZER laptop, click here for information on the type of RAM that your laptop can handle.

It is not just capacity we need to worry about, but what DDR# and clock speed it is compatible with.

HyperX never disappointed me
Great tutorial

I was planned to buy a Blade that comes with an optical switch keyboard, but it is too pricey. Turns out, the MSI was selling the same performance at a 30% cheaper price. Not only that, I do get FREE upgrade for both RAM and SSD from 16GB -> 32, and PCI-E NVMe 512GB SSD -> 1TB. That's huge when comes from buying decision.

Moreover, they provide installation service for this upgrade campaign so that I don't take risk to do so.

Hopefully, Razer could provide something similar in the future.

Given that most of the Razer Blade already had 16GB RAM at least, I don't see there was any need to do so.

If that could upgrade SSD or others that would be more useful.

It is noticed that the games since last year were at least 100GB or above ( Call of duty cost 200GB +)...... and the Blades were only provide 512GB in average, not really friendly for gamers who play different variety of games.

So I still need to buy the RAM(s) by myself... and have a probability to loose warrenty

Hello friends,

I was already subscribed to your channel, I like and comment this video.

Thank you, very good tutorial video.

I don't know what kind of video would fit for Razer Support channel.

Maybe easy installation of a Razer PBT Keycap Upgrade Set - Quartz? ^ _ ^
A good next video could be about replacing the SDD in the Blade. Usually this process also requires the installation of Windows on the new SSD, by going through the laptop BIOS, and could be a good support video for those who never had to do this process before.
