During lunch, my colleagues and I were in a discussion about why certain AAA titles from major developers and publishers have flopped, recently. It seems that the past few years have been hard on big named games. It's my theory that on top of not having the original teams that bore the AAA game franchise, a lot of the games now a days are built around a revenue model instead of, well, a gameplay experience. I think when developers are forced to create around a revenue model, it can restrict gameplay systems and mechanics, which in turn affects how a person may enjoy a game. Personally, I don't mind loot boxes if they're for cosmetics only. I have huge problem with pay-to-win or stupidly RNG gacha mechanics. I'm 100% ok with paying full price for a game if I know I'm going to get a good value out of it and will pay extra for strategically priced DLC. So for this week's Thread of the Week, I want to know what your preference is. Fill the poll out and let me hear your thoughts!

Alright, just got my new Razer Blade Stealth 13 GTX in today and was surprised it doesn't work with two of the power banks that work fine on my MacBook with USB-C. The two power banks used are the Xiaomi 20.000mAh V3, which has 45W PD and the Aukey PB-Y7 with 30.000mAh and 30W PD. So before I go and order a bunch of power banks on Amazon and subject them all to a process of trail and error, does anyone have any recommendations for a power bank that's tried and tested with the Razer Blade Stealth 13 GTX? Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

So, I'm trying to use the discord extention, but it looks like my discord goes into the loop when I sellect "connect to discord events": every 5 seconds I get the "connect to discord ChromaSDK" but nothing changes whether I press cancel or authorize. Any help?

I'm a huge Blizzard fan and it's tough being a fan right now. The state of the games, the state of the world, the state of a lot of things, make me feel like Blizzard isn't really delivering on the warm and fuzzies as of late. Often times, however, what keep me going are the leaks. A lot of them are fake. We learn over time to take them with a grain of salt. Every so often, after all that's been said and done, it's fun to go back and see if any of the leaks were right. There's so much talk about Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4 it's hard not to get excited for what's coming at the end of this week. For me, it's practically Christmas. This week's thread is two-fold. If you're into Blizzard games, what are you looking forward to seeing or hearing about from Blizzcon. And whether or not you're into Blizzard games, are you into leaks about your favorite games, movies, brands or any sort of entertainment? Do you tend to believe them? I’ve been obsessed with Razors option of colors. It gives some variety but i love mercury. I love marble grays and whites. Which is my favorite about the mercury. But when it comes to headset i want mercury. Im girly but not extreme so i don't want the quarts (don't attack me.) I want to suggest mercury kitty ears to complete my dream setup. Thank you.

So I was wondering if you could change the notification sound of Razer. So when someone texts me I want to hear another sound. I replaced the sound (wav_msgin_guild.wav and wav_msgin_private.wav) with the sound I want, but nothing. BUT when I put the original file in, it works! Any help??

Are you kidding me ? Razer essentials has no dpi button and doesnt have 800 dpi by default. So i am forced to install cancer razer synapse which cause huge input lag. Great !!!

Hey, Razer community! Recently, I have noticed a volume problem when using Apple AirPods with the Razer mobile 2. It seems that the Airpods volume level is capped and will increase no higher than 60% even though the Media volume on the Razer says it's at max. I read that it may be due to the new software update (8.0.0). I have tried disabling absolute volume, restarting and repairing my phone and AirPods multiple times. Thoughts, suggestions, or solutions would be appreciated!

Currently ambient awareness is my favorite backlight preset, but I don't light how sharp some of the lighting changes can be. It would look much better imo if there was an option for the backlight to quickly fade to the next color that it samples.

Okay, I did some testing with my Extreme Tuning Utility program. Here is what I have: Razer Blade 15 inches i7 9th generation 244 hz 16 GB 512 SSD Nvida RTX 2070 During idle or general use, my cpu have went between 40-63 C During gaming, it tend to be under 90c. once in a while it go to 94 c or 91 C. Contact Razer Support and they claimed there is nothing to worry about. I want to make sure I got a laptop that can last me, at least, 4 years. I will spend most of my time doing productivity, but of course i will play some games once in a while, mostly with Overwatch and Starcraft 2. I am not sure if this laptop is still worth it in a long run, or if I am better off getting a better laptop that tend to last a little longer. Any advice or recommend is welcome. Hey guys Love this controller, but have a couple of questions specific to Death Stranding, and I can't seem to find an answer: 1.) Does this controller have a built-in speaker? DS uses this to output the BB's voice, so I'd like to enable this feature. 2.) Does this controller have gyrometers so I can use tilt functionality? DS uses this to tilt the map, but it doesn't seem to be working. Thanks in advance! Oh yeah, one last question - I've tried to update the firmware via Windows. It detects as a Razer Bootloader device when I hit X+D-padup then connect via USB, but the software won't let me select the Update button, which is a faint green colour. FYI, my firmware version is detected as 1.01.00

Cant open it. I run the program and it appears down in right corner windows 10 btw fresh installed. But i cant open it i login and thats it. It only allowed me to login i cant use my razer surround pro any idea how to fix this

Hi Everyone, I am looking for a fast way to keep both mice connected (rather than plugging and un-plugging) and then switching between the mouse I want to use i.e. turning one off and turning the other one on using a software or a windows feature or something. Basically I would like to use my naga trinity for playing WoW and deathadder elite for playing everything else but it gets tiring having to unplug and re-plug each time I want to play a different game other than WoW.
