We are excited to announce the addition of RazerCare Elite Protection Plans to the RazerCare Family for Laptops and Mobile Phones. RazerCare Elite provides the same coverage as RazerCare Essential and adds accidental damage coverage for drops, spills, falls and collisions. Both RazerCare Essential and Elite extend hardware repair coverage to 3 years for laptops (2 extra years) and 2 years for mobile phones (1 extra year). RazerCare Elite and Essential can be purchased concurrently with a laptop or mobile phone through the Razer Store.

Does this cover battery bulging? Reddit is full of people who have the same issue.

The free transfer to new owner is a very good idea. Not a lot of companies do that.

Well I hope this extended warranty gets people good service. Just incase any of you haven't seen I had to reach out on Reddit and some behind the scenes people to even get a refund for a laptop. So I'd be careful shelling out extra money to Razer considering their customer support has some of the worst communication I've had to deal with. So maybe Razer should work on getting their quality on customer support up to standard before asking customers for more money? Just my thoughts based on experience.

It covers collisions. I get the drops, spills and falls but what/how is a collision for a piece of hardware?

I'll second the need for massive and rapid improvements to customer support. To be fair, my last dealing with them was quite some time ago but I'll still say that the customer support was horrendous. I'd say it would rank second only to Gigabyte's customer support for how slow, inept, unmotivated to help or incapable of assisting it was. And they are infamous for how bad they are.
