  1. Hi Everyone!

First time posting here. I'm trying to get cuda on ubuntu to install on my razer blade 14" 2016. The end goal is to run ROS and the ZED camera SDK for robotics development and SLAM. I'm having enormous trouble getting it work. I've tried every installation combination I can think of. I've tried different nvidia drivers, different cuda versions, different linux kernels. Everything I've tried results in weird issues. I was wondering if anyone from the community has gotten this configuration to work.

Some example issues I've had are, nvidia drivers install fine but the linux kernel (4.13) is incompatible with cuda 9.1. I've tried installing an older release of 16.04 with linux kernel 4.4 but none of the drivers (wifi, display, etc. worked). Following this guide: https://asierarranz.github.io/Razer-Blade-1060GTX-CUDA-cuDNN-Ubuntu/ installing old headers later, and using cuda 9.1 instead was successful, but when I rebooted my keyboard and mouse (external and built in) didn't work so I was forced to reset.

Any help is appreciated! I can follow up with more info if needed.
