Seems like this issue has been going on for a few years now. I use the Fn keys when playing certain games and it is a pain to have to remember to kill Synapse 3 before running these games. Is there any way around this apart from exiting Synapse 3? It looks like Razer will never fix this issue. It seems they just don't care.

Hello all, I currently own the Huntsman Mini 60% keyboard, which actually replaced a Huntsman TE that fell in battle at the hands of an overzealous teenager with a very large soda. One of the first things I noticed about the Mini was that the keys both felt and sounded far better than the TE. I realized afterwards that the linear optical switches in the Mini are actually a 2nd gen switch with built-in dampening, etc. I actually dug the TE back out to compare, and it's a huge and very satisfying improvement. That being said, I've been getting back into the MMO world, and am finding myself wanting a full-sized board instead of the compact Mini - gotta have all those extra keys for macros, etc. Therein lies my question: Does the Huntsman Elite use the new 2nd gen linear optical switches, or does it only come equipped with the original 1st gen ones..? I'd hate to purchase a new board only to find it has the older, inferior switches in it. I'd considered the K100 that's out there since

I had the original Ornata (green light only), and got the V2 which is awesome. The keys feel like a different material though. I use to clean my old one with a cloth that I had for my glasses, and spray a tiny bit of water to clean off the grease. Is this ok? or since this is a new material, is it coated with something? Honestly, I wish I could get the metallic keys or the PBT Upgrade kit, but that darn mecha-membrane. Anyways, any input is welcome, thanks!

Hi guys, My girlfriend bought me a Huntsman Elite, the layout is in US, but I live in Portugal, and my old keyboard was in PT layout. The huntsman is soo great, but I would love to get some PT layout keys to replace the US ones, so it gets even better for my use. Anyone know if its possible to get the keys separately in PT layout? Thank in advance

A soda got spilled on my keyboard and now my volume wheel is sticking. Can I just pop the volume wheel without taking my keyboard apart like the other keys? Same with my forward/skip song button. If not, any way to clean it without taking my keyboard apart? Thank you!

Hi all! Is there any official (or unofficial) keyboard layout map for different language layouts? My primary concerns are special signs, like <>, (), -_, '?+*=;: I maybe don't need my language signs, I'm used to being without them (šđčćž), but special sign placement is killing me! How can I turn off the lights on my Blackwidow Elite when I want? I have an MSI laptop that is connected to an external monitor. I keep the laptop lid closed at all times and play off my external monitor. When I shut off the monitor, I would like to hit a key to turn off my keyboard as well. How can I set up a key to do that? My computer stays on all the time and therefore doesn’t go to sleep. I have it set up that way. With a different brand keyboard I was able to turn the lights off with a button on the keyboard but with the razor I don’t see that option. again I don’t close my lid function and don’t put my computer to sleep so the internal controls with Chroma are no good for me. I would like to set up a hot key of some sort.

I read most of rants about faulty functionality and i think it`s not hardware issue, just question of driver (or Synapse if you wish). Main debate is about primary and secondary actuation point. As it is now defined in Synapse sure its not functional because it`s always register first then second what is useless. If i need second function on full press then i don`t need first one before it. Tartarus Pro keys do have 0-256 sensitivity which is obvious if u try controller setup and check in properties in windows. Depending of pressure on particular key control move further or closer so hardware technology is there and just need to be utilized in driver. So its simple questions of thresholds, lets say make it that pressure between 0 and 100 register as primary point and 200-256 as secondary and or any value in between. Off course u need to go through primary to reach secondary threshold but its merely question of how long u need to spend in zone during pressure to be registered as key

I want to use the movement keys on the Razer Tartarus Pro to walk on the primary actuation point and run on the secondary actuation point. When I set the primary actuation point to "SHIFT+w" and the secondary actuation point to "w", the SHIFT modifier still affects the secondary actuation point. Both points produce a capital "W". Is there any way to make the primary actuation point produce "SHIFT+w" and the secondary actuation point produce only "w" without the SHIFT modifier? I've fiddled with the keyboard function settings: Key Recording, Alphanumeric + Include Modifier(s), and Enable Turbo. They all produce the same results, the secondary actuation point includes the modifier applied to the primary actuation point.

Hi guys! I would like to buy a Huntsman Elite keyboard with linear red switches, but this version is not available in Poland. I've asked a few shops why is that and they said that this version of the keyboard is withdrawn from the market. Why is that? Is something wrong with red switches?

So this isn't exactly a keyboard discussion as the Tartarus is a keypad but can we get a version of the Tartarus that is for your right hand but either get rid of the d-pad for a true joystick or redesign it so it acts as your mouse? I recently got the Tartarus pro and I love it, but I really wish I had a version of it for my other hand that was also my mouse it would complete my setup for gaming with the perfect combo of ergonomic and functionality. the only thing that could make it better than that was if it was wireless. Has anyone else thought this or found something that has the functionality I'm seeking?

This started like 8 months ago. Keyboard is 4 years old and never spilled anything on it. W, Q, shift and alt keys register randomly and when they don't work I have to press them really hard to get any input. One time the led lights stopped working around the W key (like in a 2-3 key radius). I soaked the keycaps in tap water, cleaned the switches with isopropyl alcohol and sprayed the keyboard with compressed air, and nothing worked, I still have the same issues. Is it time for a new keyboard? Thanks

So I recently bought a black widow te chroma and ever since my razer Tartarus (v1) hasn't been working, it doesn't show up in the synapse two software and doesn't respond when keys are pressed. However it seems to be connected to my black widow, if I unplug my Tartarus the Blackwidow will disconnect as well, I don't know why this is happening as the black widow doesn't even use synapse 2, it uses synapse 3. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software but it doesn't seem to work. What should my next steps be? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Does anybody know if it would be possible if the BW Chroma v2 wrist rest would work with the BW Chroma v1? As far as I can see it would, as they are the exact same size and model, and the BW Chroma v1 seems to have a metal plate?

I recently purchased this keyboard and was trying to utilize the shortcut key of Crtl + + in photoshop and I realized that on the Razer Keyboards the = equal sign is set to the main and holding shift and hitting the equal sign it would be the plus. In Synapse it does not let me change the default key from = to +. I tried using the Keyboard Function option and selecting Symbols and then then the + sign. But then it adds the modifier of Shift to it and still doesn't work properly in Photoshop. I know I can change the shortcuts in photoshop but not on all the filters. Any suggestions?

Can I rebind a key to the CTRL + ALT + TAB combo using the keyboard function in Synapse 2? I have the BlackWidow Ultimate Stealth 2016. If not, is there any other way to rebind a key to this combo. I have tried with a macro but no luck. Thanks

Will there be an ISO Layout soon? Theres also the Huntsman Mini with the Improved sound dampening thats still not added to the Huntsman TKL. Is there a Chance they will upgrade this anytime soon or should i just go to Steelseries, etc. ?

I don't have anyone ever suggested this, but looking at ducky, they did a really good job of designing their keycaps. (not saying razer has not done this, but not with a stylish one yet) Big shout out to ducky their year of the dog one was amazing! I don't know if Razer would have the same idea, maybe using greek mythology, releasing a series of keycaps surrounding the Greek Gods, I would be so cool especially the elements corresponding to each God. For example lightning with Zeus, Ocean with Poseidon. Wouldn't you think this is a good idea? If you like my idea, please like it to show some support, feel free to reply and have an open discussion with me. What's your idea if Razer were to design a series of keycaps? What theme or style should they be?

Hey guys, I wonder if you guys (RAZER BLACKWIDOW ELITE users) have the same problem as mine. My volume wheel did not functioning well. When i scroll it fast, my volume will always stay at the same point even if the number change like +1 to +2 (when I'm scrolling it) but it will end up at the same point. So, I have to scroll it slowly like click by click sound to volume up and down. But sometime its not accurate. For example, volume will go up +2, +5, +6 like that in 1 click sound. Do you guys had the same problem ? How do you guys overcome this problem ? *Sorry for my bad english 😂
