My Razer Tartarus died on me last week, i think i got a lemon and the worst thing is that I barely used the Keypad over the past year - its still like new and I still keep the packaging for storage. I bought from BNL Trading LTD in my country (Mauritius) listed as authorized distributor of Razer Products I used the keypad for few times (less than a month usage) during the year since am not hard core gamer. What i can say if that sometimes before the keypad died on me, I got notification to update the Razer Synapse, so I updated it and then somehow the keypad died on me while i was using the keypad. I went online and noticed that Mauritius is not listed on their support page to put address. So i had to input USA as country so that I could contact support. Managed to open a case and support was very nice, isolated the concern and were ready for a replacement however they wont because of outside of warranty policy. The way they were very quick for replacement gave me hint that their pro
I have the chroma tournament v2 tenkeyless keyboard. Somehow the cable has been severed, it's a clean cut but I would imagine there are several wires in there. I'm no stranger to soldering irons and heat shrink but since these keyboards have all these delicious functions I'm going to take a wild guess that a soldered connection might affect the keyboard in negative ways. I'm certain no matter which option I choose there will be a bit of surgery here but is it smarter to order the whole cable or try to splice the damaged existing cable? Better yet, can razer fix it, it was a pretty expensive keyboard at least to me probably worth a fix as long as it's not nearly as much as a new keyboard. Please advise. Thanks.
Hey, I am thinking of buying a new keyboard. Would like to see what you guys suggest me. I am willing to pay around 100-200€
Hey gang, Been looking to buy a new Razer keyboard, as my Blackwidow Razer Blackwidow X Chroma TE went out of warranty on the 18 of December last year (bummer) and also been having some problems with Synapse 2.0, being forced to switch on Synapse 3.0 Beta, witch does not support my current keyboard. Also adding insult to injury my A key has a mind of it's own it seems.. registering the keystroke when it wishes, mostly failing.. [funny how it stopped working well just almost a month after getting out of warranty .. but heh, what can you do ^^] Now for the topic at hand, as the title suggests.. i've been doing some research on the newly released keyboards from Razer.. and to my surprise i found out they DO NOT make them out of military grade metal anymore? As my X Chroma TE is/was? This was that one feature that absolutely made fall in love with this product.. and of course i want nothing less now... My question for you guys and Razer.. can someone provide a list of newer keyboards
What ever happened to the mamba wireless with click force? I have one in my closet as backup for if my Trinity bites the dust. As I was browsing the store I noticed the tournament addition was renamed elite, and a new wireless model with no click force or chroma side lights. I was also kinda surprised there was no wireless for the trinity. Is Razer having problems between chroma and wireless?
I booted up factorio to find that my keyboard's lighting had suddenly become a loading bar for the game, I think thats sick and I wanted to know what other games the huntsman links too. nvm found a list
My new blackwidow elite is flickering when launching specific games, such as Overwatch and Fortnite. This is probably because it tries to change to the specific chroma setting for each game. But this bugs out and it takes a couple of second to get back to the correct lighting profile, but sometimes it stays flickering and this is quite annoying.
I have the new razer turret preordered through the Microsoft store, which I want to use with both my Xbox One X and my Windows 10 PC that I have set up on my living room TV. I wanted to confirm that I would be able to use it with synapse 3 through the PC and thus get chroma effects on games. I have a Wolverine Xbox controller and I have to use a separate app from the windows store that doesn't allow to get chroma effects. Does anyone know?
Razer, I know the Deathstalker wasn't well received, but over the years the brand has significantly increased it's capability to build higher quality components, which was the major detractor for that keyboard (and likely it's lack of sales) The keyboard I dream of is made from parts pulled mostly from the Razer parts bin, using the 2019 Blade 15 keyboard (including the fn key backlighting), in a thin flat black aluminum slab with no number pad. Bluetooth for on the go, and USB-C for charging and data swap for low-latency gaming. Chroma enabled would be amazing (but not required), and for the extra battery to support RGB, extend the front of the keyboard out a few cm as a wrist wrest. The perfect travel keyboard would be fully flat, top and bottom, but for ergonomics would include sturdy feet that fold out to two positions: low and high. Packing flat is important in bringing the keyboard for extensive travel. Note that the rounded shape on the back of Microsoft Surface and Apple wi
Hello, I'd like to know if the blackwidow elite will become available with yellow switches on french layout, and if so when will it be available ? Cheers
How do I rebind the joystick so that when I push a diagonal direction, it mixes the two adjacent keys? IE: when I push up-left it'll do what its normally bound to both up and left (in my case, W and A)
Weird question, but I'm looking at buying a Razer Cynosa, and I need to know how far apart the feet are. My monitor stand measures 315mm across, and I need the feet to be able to sit on either side of that. Razer support wasn't able to tell me - so anyone who has one of these keyboards, can you tell me how much of a gap there is between the 2 'feet' of the keyboard?
Hello Can someone take a picture and drop here about an Ornata Chroma UK layout version? In every source I just only find pictures about the US version. I wanna see what's the difference between the US and UK layout version. Thanks.
The new 2019 Blade 15's have a new keyboard that lights up the secondary keys. I wonder if Razer will sell the keyboards for the 2018 Blade's 15's and if it will be an easy upgrade.
I recently had the chance to try out the Razer Huntsman at a store and I was amazed at how great the Razer Purple Switches feel and I'm liking it even more than the Green, Orange, and Yellow Switches. Right now, I'm still waiting for a new Razer Orbweaver but it would be even more amazing if Razer releases a new keypad featuring the Razer Opto-Mechanical Switch. I also see the Tartarus as the keypad equivalent to an Ornata and the Orbweaver as the keypad equivalent to the BlackWidow so it would be cool to see a keypad equivalent for the Huntsman. Keyboard → Keypad Ornata → Tartarus BlackWidow → Orbweaver Huntsman → ? Really hoping to buy a new gaming keypad in 2019 so here's hoping that we see a new keypad featuring mechanical switches or opt-mechanical switches. Here's a link for those unfamiliar with the Purple Switches: https://www.razer.com/razer-opto-mechanical-switch #ForGamersByGamers
Hi everyone, I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the correct section. If I'm not, please let me know and I'll be happy to post in the correct section. I've had my Orbweaver for about 4 years now. I love the product in terms of functionality. Recently the spacebar key stopped functioning properly, but seeing as I've had it for 4 years, It's not my biggest concern. The major concern I have from it is the adhesive used for the hand rests. Less than 1 year after I purchased the Orbweaver, The hand rests started slipping and revealed the adhesive underneath. It seems to be an issue with the recent version as well based on the Amazon reviews I've read. Rather than an adhesive, It may be more effective to use the T-shaped protrusions (can't remember what they are called) on the bottom of the pad that could then insert through a hole on the plastic framing in order to keep the pads in place. it would be more stable and less of a mess for those that use the product heavily. Overall, I love
I'm sorry for asking a question like this but I just can't find the answer that I'm looking for. For one, I am wondering if I can replace razer green switches with a cherry mx blue since the feel is similar. I am also wondering if I do replace out the switch, can I use 2 prong LED's instead of 4 prong? Also, I forgot to mention earlier but I have a Razer Blackwidow Chroma V2. But the last question is off topic, but I wanted to know if the switches on my Razer Keyboard are PCB/Plate mounted. Again, sorry for the questions that I could've found out on the forum. I am new here.
How to clean a Razer Ornata Chroma? Haven't tried anything yet, as all videos I watch say do this at your own cost, so I worry if it breaks etc.
Dear all, I bought Blackwidow x Chroma and installed Razor Synapse 1.85 on my iMac with macOS 10.13.6. The keyboard light effects are on but I cannot type anything. No key works with EPIC Games or even simple text editor. What do I need to set up?
I have the Orbweaver Chroma and I want to know if I can bind 2 different key strokes to one key. Example Key one I want to bind '1' to if and then I would also like to have an alternate binding of 'F1' to it. So normally it would be 1 but if I press the atl key I can have it switch to F1. I do not want to be changing key mapping during a battle as that would be a pain but it would be nice to have alt key strokes on the same key. Can this be done? Thank you
I jsut got the Huntsman Elite and I am wondering if there is a setting I can change that will illuminate the full number keys? The !@#$%^&*()_+ symbols are not illuminated and it is frustrating me. Thanks in advance
Hi there, On Razer Synapse 3, I've added some keys to the hypershift part of the keyboard (where you can bind things that activate when you press the FN key), however they don't light up white like the rest of the preset hypershift keys, such as F10, which toggles gamermode. Is there any way to fix this or is this how it will stay? Thanks in advance.
I still use the Tron keyboards, one at home and one at work. I use this keyboard as my hands fit the oversized spacing of the keys better than any standard sized keyboard. I blame years of working on cars for my hand size and discomfort/fatigue with standard keyboards. I'm still using the official Tron Software (1.02) for the keyboard, but a coworker just got the Razer holiday bundle and while assisting with the setup since I'm already familiar with macro support in razer's software I came across HyperShift. This would be a great addition to the old software, off hand I see no reason a driver/software update could not add this function to the Tron keyboard. Other option would be official support for this keyboard in software with hypershift support. I know this is an older keyboard, but I've never seen any since in your product line with keys sized/spaced like this. I know I can use the profiles and switch between standard and a "HyperShift" profile and I currently do this. But the
Hello Team, First time for me on this forum, so i hope i'm at the right place to deal with my issue I bought two Ornata Chroma (one for my son and one for me) with French Layout I received an azerty keyboard, this, is ok But keyboard layout is not a real french layout, indeed, the printing on some keys is not good. For example, it suggests that I don't need to press shift to get a number or the dot for example, which is very embarrassing. Attached a picture of the keyboard with the keys, which are badly printed, surrounded by red Has anyone ever encountered this problem and how do I get the right keys? Thank you in advance
