Mice and Surfaces

Hello I have a Basilisk Ultimate that has some weird charging issues with the mouse dock. I've had it since April, but it's only recently that it's done this. I would set the mouse on the dock to charge it, then go to work, only to come home to find that the mouse is completely dead, almost like it discharged. Is this a common problem?

I just got a Razer Viper Ultimate, and while it's an excellent mouse, I just love the size of the Deathadder V2 Mini. I'm a Fingertip/Claw hybrid type of FPS gamer and now that I've been using the DV2 Mini for a while, it's like I can't go back. Everything else feels bulky and clunky. I was thinking about doing a DIY mod to make it wireless, but I'd rather just have an official wireless version. I really think it would sell. Just make sure it's 2.4 GHz and everything else about the mouse is fantastic. Nothing else has to be changed (well, optical switches would be nice). I also have to say I just got a Razer Blackwidow V3 Mini wireless keyboard and it's amazing. Keystrokes are like butter, it's great for gaming, and Rtings.com gave it an excellent review and the latency is really low (clutch for gaming). Keep doing your thing, Razer!

I really enjoy silent-click mouses in general and it would be really nice to see Razer mouses that have SC variants. The only SC mouses you can find for gaming are generally off-brand and they don't typically have the resource pool for continual updates, special driver software, etc. The Logitech M330 Silent Plus is a good example of the audible level/feel I'm imagining the variants should have, while including all of the fancy LEDs, extra buttons, etc.

The NAGE, please keep it simple. TLDR: Manufacture the current LEFT-HANDED NAGA with 19 programmable buttons, but for RIGHT-HANDED people. -------------------------------------------- Why does the NAGA X only have 16 buttons? I love the middle mouse wheel button moving side-to-side and the TWO buttons below it, not the single button that is there on the X. Again, please manufacture the LEFT-HANDED NAGA for RIGHT-HANDED people. You guys created an amazing MMO/gaming mouse years ago. Don't fix what isn't broken. I have older NAGAs laying around that still work if I plug them in. That is a testament to the old durability and designs that worked well. My current NAGA Trinity is junk compared to them (some of the keypad buttons don't work after a year of medium use). I don't like using Logitech products and I've been a Razer fanboy since your first keypads and Nagas. Please look at what worked in the past, and keep using it, with tweaks to the hardware on the inside of the product inste

Hi. I saw many posts about Mamba TE and Firefly v2 tracking issues. Now I've solved it and want to post some solution. All I've done is simply removing all three sliding foots from the mouse to lower it closer to the pad surface. It turned out that the glue layer was extremely thick and stiff, so I removed it to get feet two times thinner. Finally I've placed all foots on its places (there was still some thin remain of the adhesive) and voila! Works like a charm :big_grin_:

Hi, i was wondering if it is safe to use the mouse viper ultimate(or any wireless mouse with battery) with the mat that is from mamba hyperflux since its wireless charging. It is safe to use? it wont affect life time or duration of the battery or the wireless connection? Thanks!

Hi all. I've had the Razer Mamba Elite for some years now. Last week, I performed a clean install of Windows 11 from scratch (booted from a USB drive). After the installation, I started installing my various drivers & software programs, which, of course, included Razer Synapse 3. As part of installing Razer Synapse 3, I logged into my account. I see a message flash across my screen about syncing with Razer's "cloud" so it can retrieve my customized settings, which includes the customized lighting & colors I have for my mouse (a certain color of light for the trim, the Razer logo, and the center wheel) .... but my custom lighting does not show up on my mouse. When it logs into my account ("syncs"), the mouse "blinks" with a brief flash, but then the lights just start cycling through a rainbow of colors. Anyone know what's wrong? Is there a compatibility issue with Windows 11? I've contacted razer Tech Support, but they're a long time in responding (perhaps short-staffed due to

My mouse and Driver weren't working properly so I deleted my driver for both of them and now they can't be detected by synapse because they don't have the right drivers, I was able to get the mouse driver working but not the base station driver and I can't find a driver on the website.

I'm looking to upgrade my mouse and wanted to switch to Razer so I need some help from you guys, The thing I came across these two Mice "Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed" and "Razer Basilisk X HyperSpeed" I know that Hyperspeed comes without the Dock and Also there's no RGB with it but is there any difference in their performance? anything that creates a huge gap in them? (The budget is not an issue I'm just asking about this because you know if the performance gap is minimal I'll be able to spend the extra money on something else)

Only started recently but when i try charge my mouse up its percentage is not going up at all! It says it is charging with the little bar going up and the lightning bolt but its not gone up for the past couple of hours now. I have tried everything from changing to a different USB port at the back of my motherboard, reset everything, updated everything and still having problems. Please help.

I have the Wireless mamba with the charging dock that is also the wireless dongle. When I try to run the firmware update it tells me to plug in the wireless dongle and just hangs there. I think the updater is for a different version of the mamba. Is there a way to update my firmware or to see what I have?

So my Naga Trinity broke where the mouse doesnt detect the wheel being scrolled, opened it up and saw some loose plactic bits and found a connector loose. Thia connector was on the right side of the board and was plugged in the board but the other end of the wires was soldered to soke leads attached to a small rectangle of plastic. I don't know where this is supposed to be attached to but I assume it's why it's no longer working properly. Any ways to fix it or places to buy a replacement wire? Attached image is of the wire

Hi I've had my Basilisk Ultimate for about a year now and its been having a lot of charging issues. My mouse simply won't charge anymore. I've done just about everything, left my computer on, cleaned the connection points, switched usb spots, everything, but even with the charging cable my mouse won't charge.

Hello, just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to make it when the mouse is on the dock that the charging colors won't turn on and that your advanced effects are active instead? I have tried to figure it out and have searched the internet but to no avail. thx

So I purchased a Naga Trinity thinking it was the wireless Naga version. Well I was wrong, so I gave it to my son. While trying it out I really liked the 7 button Moba Button set. So I was greatly disappointed when i bought my pro that it did not come with the same button set, and that it was not compatible with the key set from the other as they are different size inserts. Can anyone tell me why they don't have the same button inserts as that specific button set is far superior to the poorly laid out 6 button configuration that comes with the Pro. Is there any plans to add it as aan add on as I can't possible be the only one who feels this way.

Would insta buy a Razer Version of Logi's MX Vertical mouse made for gamers... better buttons style and sensors and Razer would have a gem for us older/injured gamers. I have the Basilisk but would prefer that 57 degree angle. I wanna slap the top of the mouse and say you can fit so much RGB in this baby :P

I love the mamba build, its a bit heavier than the ultra light mouse trend these days but it screams quality. I had the previous version (that is on synapse 2) that I use for traveling (migrated to Basilisk V3) But with the death of Kobe, I think a Mamba with a laker collar would be great. RIP MAMBA

Hello friends. My mouse after updating windows (Win11 21H2) and updating 4 more Razers (pictured) can't charge anymore. Using 2.4Ghz Wireless is still good, the battery displayed at the synapse still decreases when in use, but recharging does not increase the battery % even though the synapse still says charging. If anyone knows please help me :( Thanks for reading !

Hello everybody, i'm looking after buying a new mouse and i've been looking after the Death Adder Mini v2. Question is, can i turn lights off without keeping Synapse open? I'm okay with installing Synapse to tune the options, but then i cannot keep it always open because most of the time i work on a Linux system. I'm not looking after any particular light effect, just turning them off permanently. I know i can open it and kill the LEDs physically, but i wouldn't like to invalidate the warranty... :) Thanks in advance.

Hi, I just got a new Razer Viper Ultimate with the charging dock. Whenever I plug my dock into my gaming laptop, the dock doesn't turn on. I followed the steps on how to clean it and that didn't work. Please comment if you know how to fix this problem :)

i.e. something to change the firmware so it doesn't do an annoying light show By default I'd prefer it to simply turn off all the lights, so if someone has to borrow the mouse they don't have to endure the unicorn vomit Even when I'm rebooting I have to suffer the silly lights until the s/w kicks in. This is all perfectly possible (I understand microcontrollers), just a question of whether razer, or someone else has done this already. I'm guessing its a no, I just don't understand why Razer would not allow something so simple. Pity the firmware isn't open source.

I have owned at least 5 naga MMO mouse and I always run into the issue where one of the switches will start acting up clicking too many times or not at all it seems like the newer the mouse the quicker I would run into this problem down to not even owning it for a year and having this issues. I have not been using a naga mouse for about a year trying other various mice. I really would like to buy another Naga trinity or maybe a pro but I was wondering if this problem has been addressed. I know it's not just me cause I have seen various youtube videos on how to take apart your mouse and fix it. If anyone knows something about this please let me know. I honestly don't like the idea of buying something that I will have to replace or send out for warranty and have to use a totally different mouse till I receive a replacement.
