I use this amazing phone for mostly for gaming only, no phone calls, no texting, no emails, no social media. I have two games downloaded, RR3 and PubG mobile. 99% of the time I am playing PubG mobile. Sometimes during game play I have been experienced the screen display will sometime decrease by a noticeable percentage. It also does this during RR3. I mostly use this phone for gaming and I do play with the phone charging due to battery drainage. I have changed in developer settings to STAY AWAKE that the phone should not sleep while charging. The brightness is at 100% and adaptive brightness is off. I am using the game booster feature and all notifications are set to off (do not disturb.) I have watched movies on Netflix and have not experienced this issue, Netflix is not added to Game Booster. Game booster configurations is the following. CPU: 2.80 GHz Resolution: 1440P FPS: 120

As the title says, I have recently gotten my hands on a RP2 and am very excited about the 120Hz screen. Tremendously satisfied. But at the same time i wonder what cool stuff can i do with this awesome phone? Can the community share?

Why extenal USB c adapter keeps disconnecting I tried 3 otg cable none of them worked right

So - I get an email from Razer - telling me I can order customised phone cases!! Because i own a an RP2 and RP1 I get pretty happy :) However - imagine my disappointment when I get to the site and discover that THEY DONT EVEN HAVE A CASE FOR THEIR OWN 2 PHONES????????????????????????? I mean - fair enough - even if your phone didnt sell as many as you wanted and you didnt make as much as you wanted from it you AT LEAST HAVE TO GIVE REPECT TO THOSE WHO DID??? RIGHT? this is like openly admitting 2 things: 1) you think anyone who bought an Rp 2 or 1 is a sucker and 2) You are admitting you were failures such arrogance is unbelievable and to be honest i was half expecting this as i was waiting for the page to load.

I brought this phone in the false promise It's a gaming phone! When I try and connect a PS4 and Xbox one controller to the phone, the phone and controller act as if the analogue sticks are being pressed when they not.. When I connect the same controllers to Huawei pro 20 they work fine, Also lost the usb c jack that came with the phone so I brought a third party replacement and it doesn't work with the phone, but again it works with the Huawei, So a lame phone that doesn't allow using third party stuff.. Not going be buying the razer 2 Shame

Hi yall First time i grab this phones maker, so far so ok lol 1) split screen - coming from a s7 edge i used to constantly use it, can't figure how here 2) phone health - Samsung used to have this settings /app that used to help clean phone cache and optimize batteryalong othrr options - games loading slower, signific antly slower after 1 week use... How can i improve this and make sure maintain the phone health? Thanks & good vibes

So the settings for camera location is turned off on my Razer 1, but the photos still get a tag location. Running pre-pie.

When recording videos my RP2 camera lens keeps going in and out of focus. This issue is not present while taking pictures, only video. I'm on Android 9 and also tried using the gcam mod with the same issue.

Razer Phone 2, my first experience with a gaming smartphone: After almost 2 months of use. And to test countless applications and games with this phone, I put a note of 10. From its perfect 120hz screen and its quality, to its multiple utilities. Trying 120hz games you can see the power of the phone when it comes to seeing its movements. One of the games tested was injustice 2. The 120hz are noticed since you start the fight and its fluidity. You can see the power of the phone and as other players do not have the same power to win matches with some sincerity, after more than a month and a half playing the game. Yes, it is true that the phone heats up a bit when you are using it, but you can always modify the applications so that they spend less resources, all from the cortex de razer application, a real gem. So far with my opinion on the razer phone 2 phone. A good purchase, and when I renew if I continue to pick up phones, I'm sure to renew. A greeting and thanks for reading.

Got my Razer 2 phone a month ago.....the audio is plagued with crackling from time to time...seems to be caused by using Dolby Atmos......high listening levels and bass boost. According to users, this problem seems to have be going on for a long time. Anyone got a fix? Thanks.

I have the razer phone 2 and I do not get battery notifications ie when u plug phone in to charge u get the pannel in the drop down that tell how long till chargeed and if if is slow or fast charging help

Do you guys think that Razer should wait until the Snapdragon 865 comes out before releasing the Razer Phone 3? From what I can tell, one of the problems with the Razer Phone lineup is that they are released during the end of the year when the current processor is about to be replaced by the new one so the hardware in it becomes outdated in around 3 months. Another problem is that releasing the phone in Q4 means competition with the Apple iPhone and Google Pixel phones. Apple fans will stay with Apple while Google Pixel has the latest Android software and timely updates to justify the late release date. Releasing the Razer Phone 3 with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ late in the year also appears to be a bit late since the Asus ROG Phone II just came out and those wanting to buy a gaming phone are likely to have already bought this phone before the Razer Phone 3 will come out. Will RAZER be adding Secure Boot to the Razer Phone 2? Secure Boot which requires correct pin to boot and option wipe on failures. This feature have been there for several years now, all my old Android devices have them. My Lenovo 2016 YogaBook have it, My LG V20 have it. Now trying out the Razer Phone 2, it does not have it. It's going to be a deal killer for me. Hope RAZER will add this feature to future updates roll out ASAP.

Hey guys, Last night I was trying to charge the phone but over about 15 minutes, it would not budge from 11% and it kept saying charging and low battery. I tried charging it with another cable and it displayed the same issue. So i thought I'd restart the phone to see if that was an issue. No power down animation played, it just turned off completely. The phone will not show a charging icon when I plug in the charger, nor will the LED turn on. It does not turn on no matter what I do, Vol up/down and power, plugging it into the computer. Nothing. Any advice? I don't mind getting it sent off and paying for repairs but as far as i've seen Razer doesn't make that option plain.

Why is there no way to stop apps from creating their own photo albums? Why can't every app download photos to the main photo album, and then give you the option to create separate albums? It's annoying having to dig through 20 different albums for one photo, or trying to remember to save those individual photos to the main album. What even is the point of apps having their own separate albums? It just creates headaches, no ease of life at all, isn't that what technology is supposed to do, make our lives easier?

My phone was working fine untill I updated to Android 9 from 8.1, Now when ever I try and play my mobile games fortnite and pubg the screen just goes black and can't do anything, I can hear the game in the background, when I keep sliding up on the home button I will see the game in the little menu but when I press on the game again it just goes back to black, So annoying Anyone know how to fix this

So I had the orginal Razer Phone 1 (RP1) since 2017, saw the 399 deal on the new razer phone 2 (RP2) and picked it up direct from razer. My original phone worked great always had 4g lte connection. This new one (RP2) wont connect to 4g lte... I am using the same sim card, same att plan, living in same house. Only shows H+ connection. Anyone have this issue and a possible solution? People say use the secret setings menu: (*#*#4636#*#*) to tweak the preffered network type but I am not sure what to put in there. Shouldnt this newer phone work better than the original? Can someone who knows what the settings should be chime in? I am in the east coast in CT if that matters.

HI everyone, I use to have different android phone, on the camera app you can choose if you want to save pics or videos to sd card, but there is No option to select pic save to sd card when using raZer phone 2 camera, is any one know how to solve this problem? Another thing is some USB Type-C earphones is doesn't work on raZer phone 2, is any one have this problem too? the dongle is work fine.

With the recent release of Android 9 Pie, I was wondering if there was any official news on if the Razer Phone was going to be getting that release.
