I have a Kishi V2 and I want to play it with an s23 Ultra. The controller is not recognized when connecting via USB C. I also noticed that my S23 Ultra does not charge via the external USB C connection from the Kishi. But I see many videos on Youtube how people play with an S23 Ultra. Do you know if there is a workaround? This is the second Kishi v2 that doesn't work.
Just got the Kishi V2, and it's a really sick controller already, but I'm noticing that not that many games are controller compatible, especially not some of the more popular titles, and especially not for the Kishi. If you guys have any suggestions for games I can try out with it, that would be great (I have the Phone 2, so asking for Android games). Side note, I'm getting into Final Fantasy and Sonic games on mobile, so I've already seen those, and I got an app that turns the Kishi inputs into touch screen inputs, so if there's a game that could work with mapped controller-to-touch screen inputs, I'll try those.
Razer is known for releasing Licensed Edition products from games and other partners such as Overwatch, Destiny 2, Street Fighter V, Dragon Ball FighterZ, etc. and I think it would be cool if Razer releases a Nintendo Edition of the Razer Phone. As gamers, I'm sure a lot of us grew up with Nintendo in our pockets and I think it would be great to relive that kind of feeling again. Nintendo has also been releasing some really great games for the mobile platform in the past couple of years such as: Pokémon Go, Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Dragalia Lost. In addition there are also plans to bring Mario Kart and The Legend of Zelda to the mobile platform. At this point, a collaboration between Razer and Nintendo for a licensed phone would be a match made in heaven. What do you guys think?
I recently purchased the Kishi V2 controller for my Phone 2, but I'm having trouble finding games that are compatible with it, especially popular titles. Any recommendations for Android games? Also, is there a way to use the controller with touch screen games through mapping?
Hello. I would like to know at least any information about whether to develop a new phone. I have the first Razer Phone and I don’t see any sense in changing it to the second, but I would change it to the third, since updates to the old model does not go and a hardware producers do not hesitate.
Greetings everyone! After some waiting and thinking, i finally decided to take the plunge and ordered a razer phone! I am very excited about it, especially since just after i ordered it i got the invite for elder scrolls blades and for some reason it does not look at all like the demo videos they showed on e3 (i think it was e3) on my iphone se - it looks like graphics settings are turned down for iphone se. So i look very much forward to trying it on my new razer phone and looking forward to exploring android! So are there any tips for razer phone/android newcomers? I used apple phones since they invented them.. :) Thnxx!
Hi there! I was wondering if we could get support for ARCore on the Razer Phone 2? Seems the phone would be more than capable, and a teardown for an earlier version (1.5; current version is 1.8) showed that a profile for the first Razer Phone (Cheryl) was added. https://www.androidpolice.com/2018/09/25/arcore-v1-5-adds-support-oneplus-6t-rog-phone-razer-phone-xperia-x-many-apk-teardown/ Anyone? Bueller?
I wish RAZER would include "pass-through charging" or "battery idle mode", as it is better known in the mobile phone world, in their next update. No hardware changes are needed nor any liscensing required. Just some plain old fashioned kernel code. Earliest phone I can think of, off hand, that has it is the Google Pixel XL from 2016. Latest phone, of course, being the ROG 3 which recently got it through an OTA update. Even the Moto Z3 play has it, as do a fair number of other high to low end Android devices of all sorts. It sure would do wonders for our battery health and life, create a longer shelf life and be such a great surprise. I believe this is the number one missing feature from our gaming phone. Consider that it has a non removable battery and is running a power hungry SOC, with an added 2.8 ghz frequency. Well, that and a landscape usb port, but let's not get off track into the impossible/physical. I know the mobile department for the RP2 is bare bones as of late, and we t
Lack of information as to why the delay and then removal of the satin variant of the Phone 2 have left me somewhat stumped. Razer support is unable to provide anything useful in terms of an answer. For there to have been all the work to put it on the website, list prices and even build up some of the hype it is a bit perplexing as to why it is now gone. Since Razer won't answer one is left to wonder, hardware issues, production problems, software (though this would affect the gloss edition also)....
Hi I just bought my new Razer Phone 2 last March here in the Philippines and was hoping that the battery life would get me through the day as I was playing Vainglory, Emergency HQ, Tacticool, Afterpulse, and other games in such extended time I have observed that the battery life is not what I was assuming to be it I already played the game for almost 4hrs only, from 100% down to 40%. How can it last a day for continued gaming? if I just played my games at high performance around 2-3hrs of playing. Is there a hardware problem with it? And I have already updated the OS on Android Pie? Hoping for a clear answer on this.
Hi Having issues with my RP1.. The bluetooth audio has suddenly stopped working.. It was fine in the morning and then in the evening my headphones connected fine but all i can hear is a faint clicking noise. I paired the same headphones with my laptop and they work fine so it's not them at fault, then I also paired a different set of earbuds with the phone and they didn't work either. So it's definitely something with the phone... Anyone have this happened to them before or have any ideas how I can get my BT sound back? (wired headphones work fine with the USB-C adapter so it's a bluetooth problem rather than an audio playback problem) .
When are they planning to update to android 10? Are they planning to wait till android 11 comes out to update to 10. Company needs to step it up with their mobile support. I don't get why release a phone if you are going to fire your mobile team. Makes me want to just never get razer items any more and I'm a big fan. Disappointing!!!!
I know the charging port is bad and I am capable of fixing the damn thing myself, but there is no clear place to go to request a part to replace it for my phone. I'm not interested in paying more than half of what bought my phone for and having it's data wiped just to get the faulty port swapped, which was bad before the warranty expired, i just put up with it initially, not realizing I could've made use of it then. I've taken apart phones and swapped parts and batteries before I would like to know how I could get/pay for a replacement part. You all have to have them, since you still offer paid support for the phones.
I've been trying to post this for a while but as soon as I posted it got deleted, a few months ago I purchased a razer Kishi anda it started malfunctioning, the right joystick started drifting when pressing right trigger, I thought it could be my phone but then last week the left side completely stopped working, I read that it could be the cable that connects both sides, I purchased a flex compatible cable, and when I opened the controller I noticed that something inside was dripping and the circuit board on the right side is damaged do to en excess of grease or thermal paste that they put on the triggers and we'll I tried changing the cable and well it was not the cable. Everyone that has a Kishi or thinking on buying one first check this problem or you'll end up throwing 100dlls in the trash.
I am posting just to get a feeling is that only my specimen issue, or does someone else have the same/similar issue. When I use the supplied Camera app, take few pictures, switch to 2x camera, maybe wander to Video and back, then suddenly (not always) when I switch to 2 x camera (or zoom) the Camera app "freezes" and stays frozen. I have got to close the camera and restart it (is starts in 1x mode and works) but then the phone is "spoiled" until I restart it - e.g. any attempt to switch to 2x gets camera app frozen. When I try to switch to Video it would say (after 5 sec hangup) that it "Cannot connect to camera - Dismiss/Try again" Also when that happens, the built-in Torch cannot be lit, after 1st attempt and failure the button in tray is greyed out and 3rd party torches say "cannot connect to camera".
