If you want pre-build chroma profile for a specific game that dont ask razer 😛 this profile make game developer like blizzard on diablo and overwatch. Synapse just read profile in connect module as external app.
This is awesome, this is the kill-all solution to ambient lighting effects.
I certainly am missing that "Notify Me" option on the kit.. Hate to be disappointed every 5 minutes.
guh, this always happens to me, I always wait to long to buy the Razer stuff I want. Well, at least maybe one day I'll get those items.
Ok so i have been browsing through all of this but I did not find any real answer:

Is there ANY kind of cable extension for the Razer HDK? I have been searching for this desperately...

I dont mean the extender kit with additonal LED strips - I have all of them. I just want to palce some of the strips further away from the HDK controller box... But the connection cables are just waaaay to short 😞 😞
LOOK's AWESOME

Don't have if this is the answer you're looking for as you already have those extender kit as well. Hehe.

Well yeah I only want longer connection cables, not the led strips themselves. I mean - if - it would work, hell maybe I would even go so far and buy another complete Extender Kit and "throw away" the LED strips - BUT the connection cables are male/male - so there is no way of using another pair to extend the cable.

And this connector cable just looks soo proprietary..... -.-
Really, you released it 2 days after i spent 150 bucks on my new lighting setup 😞... what a bad timing 😞

If I'm not wrong, their justifications for this is that the light will display correctly and accurately as in brightness settings and effects sync across their chroma devices that's why the limit of that extension. Not sure if that's actual reason as well.

If you need to put around your room, can you consider those Philips Hue RGB as they can be sync using Synapse for more immersive lighting around you.

That sounds like a good idea.
very good :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye_:
Hi,
are there any news on using a second Razer Chroma HDK in Synapse 3?
emm2600
I really want to like this product but... the cost is just way too prohibitive. I understand there are R&D costs etc but when you can buy almost 10 meters of addressable RGB LED strips for around the price of the expansion kit alone personally i just can't justify it.

Well you are correct there, about R&D costs, however I think that this kit currently is meant for developers not average end users, hence the high cost of the first few units.
Do not quote me on this, but I am almost certain that the price will drop somewhat within a few months (probably 20-40 bucks at most though).
Since similar kits with a controller are only somewhat cheaper, however they lack so many effects and features. (closest I can think is NZXT Hue+).

Still not working. I tried one more time :D

Thx for the test,

would love to know why they wont implement something like this, sounds pretty basic to me...
Sadly i got the second HDK before your answer... intresting thing is in Overwatch both HDK are spoken to...
You partly misunderstood me - Chroma SDK dev's, not the "real" ones out there, who would indeed make their own software to those cheap LED strips.

Either way the price point is not that high compare to other similar competitors.
DIY is always (almost) cheaper, than buying something ready for end user.
Really? So if you load Overwatch and keep Razer Synapse open, the game will color output to both devices? Or do you have Hue sync open or the game loaded into Razer Synapse linked games area in the app?
Userlevel 7
so such thing as a in-stock notification?
Well the game runs under Razer Connect, but the Game outputs to both HDK correctly, wich the Studio can’t, isn’t it intriguing xD

Oh. Duh. 😳
Hmmm I wonder if I can add a "game" manually and direct it to razer synapse ...

I wonder if there is chroma file for overwatch
you could copy and paste into the razersynapse location when you try and add razer syanpse as a game...
And here we see that razer has decided they need more chroma. now we can make our own razer toasters.
