Synapse had some update and after it was done, my visualizer stopped working properly. When I open it, there is a portion of the keyboard that stays red while the rest is black. It still picks up my music but it wont go past the lit up section. Any suggestions?

Look up WS2812B strips on eBay and get one with 30 LEDs. As for the Arduino any standard 16MHz Arduino will work, including the cheap eBay clones. I'm running my strip off a cheap eBay CH340G based Nano clone. Programming is easy, in my GitHub link I have an Arduino sketch you can program using the Arduino software so you don't actually have to write any code yourself. Make sure you remember what COM port your Arduino shows up as and then add it to the command line parameters like ledstrip=COM1. You can add multiple COM ports if you have more than one Arduino strip connected. Right now it's limited to 30 LED strips only, any more and only the first 30 will work and any less and the pattern won't be symmetrical. Also all the other command line options are broken on 1.13 so I need to post a new build to fix this.
Are these ones likely to work? I want to make sure before I buy them, thanks! http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Nano-V3-0-ATmega328-16M-Micro-controller-CH340G-Board-Mini-USB-for-Arduino-/390953850065?hash=item5b06aa54d1:g:ItwAAOSwr81URK4U http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/0-5-1M-WS2812B-Addressable-RGB-LED-strip-DC5V-32-60-144-m-/172054450804?var=&hash=item280f3e9274:m:mh79PROppb7Q6f4nd3qnrLQ (WS2812b 30 LED/m and 1 meter version)

Yeah, those are exactly what you need. Then just wire the LED strip red to +5V, black to GND, green to Arduino pin 6. You'll have to install the CH340G USB serial driver before using it.

Had the same issue last week. You have to do a full uninstall of Razer Synapse (I uninstalled the SDK framework install as well listed under Programs). Do a full restart of computer after the uninstall and then install a fresh copy of Synapse from the Razer site. Do another restart after installation and then Music Visualizer should work properly again.

Hello! I've downloaded the Audio Visualizer, but it's not working at all. The keyboard doesn't even go black when I open up the application. Other apps such as the Enviromental thingamajig works instantly and without problems. Both are enabled in the Chroma Apps list and I've downloaded both the x64 and x86 versions of vcredist.

Remember to enable CHROMA APPS on Razer Synapse! :) See if that works and get back!

Should have included that I've got it enabled. The other app worked instantly.

We're currently working hard to build support for Blade Stealth on all Chroma Apps. Updates will be available in the near future.

I have installed the SDK, Keyboard visualizer, and vc_redist. The program runs correctly, but the keyboard and mouse don't do anything. Chroma apps are turned On, and the keyboard visualizer shows up in the chroma app list. But nothing happens to the keyboard when I run the program. I am using a Blackwidow Chroma so it is supported, its just not reacting to the visualizer.

Hi! I did successfully install the app & it works perfectly. My concern is that the app doesn't save my setting & doesn't have any option to start with the windows. I have to change the setting every time I login to the computer .

I recall encountering this issue a few months ago! :eek_: By any chance, is your amplitude in the audio visualizer not set? If not, try setting it to 200 and see if it works.

Installed it and it works great, except my Deathadder Chroma seems to disconnect when the visualizer is on. Any fixes for this?

I have Razer Mamba - Chroma Ergonomic Gaming Mouse wireless, so the visualizer only work when it is connected to the cable, not work when is connected to the dock, it would be better if work with dock.
